Thumb nail was glued back on, recent visit.-RAYNE (Not sure why my name is different on here, but I want to be transparent)

I got my nails done for my birthday, due to using the colored acrylic bs the gel they usually last a month at least. Not this time, I had to glue a nail back on for now and another wants to snap off. I went yo one of my favorite techs too, so this is disappointing. I've used other techs and had issues, but not ever with this particular person. I'm contemplating if I want to try another spot because of this. -Rayne

I came here with my two swollen pregnant feet that I can't touch anymore in desperate need of a pedicure. I figured they were pretty booked on the weekends based on reviews so I came during the week during what I presume is non peak time. I called to see if there was availability before I came and there was. They check your temperature before you come in, and make you sign a waiver/acknowledgement (something COVID related). Then you have to wash your hands as soon as you come in. Masks are required of course. There are shields at each station and hanging shields from the pedicure chairs. All of this combined with less people being present, it's safe to say I felt comfortable and COVID is taken seriously. It's been over two weeks and my pedicure is still in tact! Winner winner! The pedicure was exactly how I wanted in terms of nail shape and length cut down. Also, the massage was delightful. I hate paying for "extra massage" and not feeling like I didn't get much extra. That wasn't the case here. The extra massage was everything a girl could want. It's safe to say, I'll DEFINITELY BE BACK.

I am afraid my favorite nail spa is no longer good just went and got a gel manicure Sunday and it came off already so disappointed with this place it has really went down hill.

My nails are HORRIBLE. Every since new management took over, the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. I got my gel mani and regular pedi on Tuesday and look at my nails! They will definitely not make it the normal two weeks. AND my nails were made way too thin by use of drill to sand down nails instead of soaking. Second time having bad experience. Last time spending over $100 (including tip) to have my nails ruined! In the pics you will see: shoddy application of top coat; red specs from my old polish that was drilled away embedded into the top coat; air bubbles in top coat; and sloppy application of polish. I didn't even get into how the FIRST "esthetician" (and I use that term loosely) did not know what she was doing and was in the process of giving me the worst pedicure in my life. The second esthetician had to come and redo what first should've heaven doing. So not only was my experience unnecessarily prolonged, it was also uncomfortable because I had to advocate for myself to ensure that I got good service. No one spending their hard earned money on a service should have to argue to get that service provided to them in a manner that is the industry standard!

Clean, affordable and timely gel manicure. I never get acrylic I prefer my natural nails and short length but I wanted something fun for my birthday and my normal nail salon couldn't deliver. I googled "nails" from PG plaza mall which led me here. I walked in on a Friday afternoon around 2 and showed my nail tech a picture of what I wanted. Love a nail tech that understands the assignment, under promises but over delivers! I'll be back soon :)

Great job! I came in from California and didn't have time to get my nails done. So my daughter recommended this nail shop. I was advised it's best to make an appointment because they get busy!

Left Hand Nails by Justin

first time to this nail salon and I was able to make a same day appointment with Justin - Iheard he was the best. Justin was super fast and my nails are literally perfection. Shape is exactly what i wanted and the design was executed very well I will be back

This salon serves as my 2nd choice when I can't get my nails done back home (Baltimore County) and what a wonderful 2nd choice it is! I've had little to no problems here. The longest I've waited is 10 minutes (granted I go early afternoon during the week). All of the nail techs are friendly. The place is decently clean. It's a little pricey ($5 more for a fill than what I pay back home) but my nails last. Overall, good fit for me.

Unfortunately, the quality of service has declined, and it now feels as though anyone regardless of training or skill level is allowed to provide massages. Today, I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment but wasn't seen until 15 minutes after my scheduled time. I ended up leaving the treatment room just 12 minutes into the session. The service was completely unskilled: rushed, inconsistent, lacking rhythm, and missing the foundational techniques that define a competent, professional massage therapist. A skilled therapist uses intentional pressure, consistent/proper flow, and an understanding of muscle anatomy to create a therapeutic and cohesive experience none of which were present. Realizing the session was doing more harm than good, I made the decision to end it and leave. The front desk staff clearly knew something had gone wrong, as my early departure was obviously due to dissatisfaction. Yet I was still charged $139. Not only is that unreasonable, but deeply unprofessional. When I called for clarification, I was met with a scripted cancellation-policy explanation given by the same employee who witnessed me ending the service early and leaving the studio upset. Only after pressing for details was I told I'd need to speak with a manager. The entire interaction was dismissive, confusing, and frankly, insulting. This visit brought frustration instead of the relaxation this business is supposed to offer. And for anyone who believes the service I received, particularly from Pam, is acceptable, I can assure you they have not experienced a true massage from a trained, skilled professional.

I booked the appointment online and put down the necessary deposit. They were running a special for the month of January- 10% off during weekdays and it included aromatherapy. The 10% off did not automatically apply and I'm pretty sure I didn't get the discount. Parking- street parking if available. We lucked up and got a spot right in front of the spa. No paying a meter was required. My massage therapist was Mike and my husband's massage therapist was Kimberly. The couple's room was tight so I could feel, see and hear every time my husband's therapist talked to him or when she moved. My husband felt that Kimberly just couldn't get the pressure right even though she asked. He also felt like she took a break after every touch so there was awkwardly long waiting periods. He said her touch was often too soft even though he told her the pressure wasn't enough. She was pleasant; notwithstanding, she just wasn't the right therapist for him. Mike also asked me once about the pressure and at the time, it was okay. As the massage went on, it became uncomfortable. In all fairness, I should've spoken up. The elbow and forearm down the back and around the shoulders was the most painful. We got the massages on Monday morning and I'm still in pain on Wednesday. This is the first time I've asked for a male massage therapist and boy could I tell the difference. The pressure alone was intense. The best part was the scalp rub and the lavender scent (although there was something mid-massage that smelled like mildew). When asked what areas of focus before starting, I mentioned that I wanted my mid-back and arms focused on because I have carpal tunnel. Those areas weren't paid any special attention--they were simply apart of the regularly scheduled program - upper left, then upper right, then lower left, the lower right, then flip and repeat and end with scalp. This was the process for both my husband and I though he was flipped front a lot sooner than I was. Overall, I wouldn't mind returning if I'm in the area and trying another therapist.
