All bus stop are well labelled, starting from "A" and going down the alphabet. There are also electronic billboards beside the bus stops, so easy to figure out which buses are going to be coming. I did think some of the street sign directions inside the bus depot was a bit confusing however it's a nice spacious hall with benches, and basic amenities, so a decent spot for folks to wait for their bus, if needed. These are my local taxi company, and I used to use them quite a lot. The price of fairs are very…read morecheap, and I don't think I've ever paid more than £10 for their service for one drop off. And that includes from anywhere in Birmingham. The company is quite a lot smaller than most other firms in the city, and I think that adds a great friendly close knit vibe between all of the staff; You certainly get that experience when you're talking to the drivers anyway. Most of the rides home are kept entertaining and free of silence by the talkative drivers, who are great at making conversation. However, I have had a few disappointing encounters with this company. I was standing outside waiting for them for 45 minutes once, and the taxi didn't turn up. I kept ringing them back, but they said they were still on their way. In fact, the service name 'On Time' isn't suited to them at all really, and the company has often been quite late for me, and usually arrive within 20 minutes. I'd prefer them to pick me up in 10 minutes personally, because this is long enough to wait.

There is plenty to do but many of the activities are charged for. The cost of most activities is £1.50 each which I think is reasonable when you haven't had to pay to get in! There is a children's play area which is free of charge as well as beautiful walks around the large lake which is like being at the seaside. Boats are available to hire on both the small and large lakes. The small lake having kayaks suitable for most ages and the large lake offering sailing boats and motor boat rides as well as lessons. There are loads of ducks and swans on the lakes and they don't mind people. A cygnet came right up and let me take a picture of it! We walked along to the railway. We didn't go on the train but we defintely plan on going back to do so. The prices for the trains are really good (£8.45 for a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children for an all day ticket). There are a couple of nice cafes. We had a drink in Alfie's by the train station which is a bar and cafe. I was amazed (in a good way) that 2 large glasses of coke was just £2. The food prices were reasonable although we had taken a picnic so we didn't try the food! I could go on about this place forever. It's brilliant and if you don't want to do any of the activities, you won't have to spend anything if you don't want to! The only bad thing I found was that the toilets in the main bit weren't very nice and the only toilets with soap in were at the train station. There are plenty of toilets though so you don't have to come all the way back to the start just to go to the loo which is good!

They have a base in Blackheath and Broad Street and i don't know if this cuts their costs somehow but they are the cheapest rank i have ever used. Would recommend to anyone traveling towards Dudley from Birmingham, very trust worthy. I once left my wallet in the back of a cab owned by Brookfleet, not only did they notify me straight away, they personally returned it to me the next da with all the cash still inside, amazing.
