I went in hoping to coherently explain in my very mid French why a pharmacist at another pharmacy was only able to fill half of a prescription for my aunt (based on what that pharmacist had told me, in French, as I understood it). The look from the first of the two pharmacists at Place Rèpublique who helped us was that stereotypical French, chin down, eyebrows up, "Dear God, I have to deal with another tourist today?" face. But it only lasted a split second. She and her colleague looked at my aunt's paperwork, figured out the deal, and took care of us in short order. They answered all our questions, even the dumb ones (eg, "Are these mints Italian? Can you tell me what flavor they are? What does this [Italian word] mean?") I appreciated not only their help but also their patience.

As I was about to find it on a shelf, I was advised by an employee that this cream is useless and that I should buy two different ROC creams instead. She added that she was 55 and that she looked much younger entirely because of using the same ROC products. I asked her if the creams she recommended were for night time and she assured me that they were ( I do not speak French, could not read the label and so I trusted her). The price for both was 78 euros. 5 minutes later I came to my hotel and asked the receptionist if the creams I bought were for night time. She said - no, they were day time creams but I should be able to return them no problem since I never opened the boxes and the purchase took place just minutes ago. Also, I corresponded with my dermatologist doctor and asked him if that cream was ok for me to use. He said - no, it had a component that would be bad for my skin. I rushed back to the pharmacy to return the creams but both the cashier and the employee woman who misled me selling me daytime creams while assuring me they were night ones - flatly refused!! They knew I bought them minutes ago and they were still sealed, they knew they misled me - and yet she refused a return/exchange. On top of it all, when I checked Amazon prices for the same products they were 60% less expensive. What a rip-off, on top of their dishonesty, taking advantage of a foreign tourist and pushing products that apparently did not sell well ( because you could buy them for much less elsewhere). Very Professional…read more We came to this pharmacy as we needed to be tested for COVID-19 as we were required to present a negative COVID-19 Test Certificate at the airport to return to the U.S. The pharmacist and the staff here were all very nice and very professional. In fact, they pushed us to the lead of the line in front of their other customers. The test was professional, done in the back room, and we were given our results in just a few minutes. The certificates were then quickly authorized and signed and we were on our way. The price of the test was very reasonable. Like many of the pharmacies that dot the landscape of Paris, this is a small shop, fully supplied with all of the expected items. So, when this age of the pandemic has passed us I am sure you can find those pharmacy-based items you are looking for and receive the same great service we encountered. Good pharmacy!

When I got there... there was a tourist bus parked outside and super packed inside! It was a tourist stop and filled with a lot of Asians with huge carts filled completely with products! They have these little sheets posted with French, Korean and Chinese about the products and what they do. Unfortunately, nothing in English. There are a lot of pharmacists all over the place and some of them are very helpful, while others would rather spend their time talking to each other. There are several that speak a lot of different languages, I think I heard Korean and Japanese, and most of them speak a little bit of English. They have rotating deals so make sure you check out a couple of other pharmacies so you know if you're getting a good deal. This pharmacy had the most good deals, so if you only have time to go to one Pharmacy, I would suggest this one. Probably a good idea to go right when they open, because midday, with the tour buses parked outside, there is really no room to stroll around the place. I was always bumping into people and you can't stand in one place without people trying to squeeze by. Got some bioderma 2 pack 500 ml each for a little over 15 euros, they have some great gift sets too from bioderma, nuxe and caudalie. I got a pretty decent gift set with la roche posay sunscreen 50 spf 50 ml and it came with an aerosol thermal spring water spray 50 g for 8 euros. Lot of other great things here, the selection is pretty spectacular. TL;DR: if you only have time to visit one pharmacy, this is the one to visit. There was 10 ladies on the floor and this happened multiple requests and including long wait times. They were chatting amongst each other , laughing and pretended to not speak English period. Finally one kind lady who was honest to her job her name is Marriana( she was amazing in her knowledge of skincare and helpful) However, health section is a must visit. This is not very close to touristy areas so taxi would be a must or metro if you are familiar. Phone issues / roaming etc should be considered as i had trouble finding a taxi on the way back

So after failing to find it at the Pharmacie du Village, I stepped into this one. Whlie they also did not carry the cream, I found more of the hand cream I had purchased at the previous store so I proceeded to stock up.
