The owner/manager of these complexes is just the WORST to work with. I pay top dollar for this place and I understand she took ownership and upped the rent to much that most people moved out. Little do they know - they were forced to make the right decision. When I came to see the place the carpet was covered in black animal hair/fur. The guy showing the place called or texted his manager and was told it would be replaced before I moved in. Perfect! I got the keys the night before the movers were scheduled to arrive and walked into...the SAME carpet! It was soaking wet but they did clean...the middle of the floor. There was still black hair so thick along the edges that I scooped out a BIG chunk just by running my finger along the edge for about 2 inches! GROSS! The upstairs toilet seat literally had butt filth from the person who lived here! I had to put TP on the seat until I could go BUY my own toilet seat. Are they SO expensive they can't be replaced between tenants? The kitchen cabinets had so much finger grime on the outside edges and there were crumbs along the edges of the insides of the drawers. I had to literally clean the outsides and insides of the cabinets before I could move into the kitchen. Brittanie claimed the apartment had been cleaned by a professional cleaner and then by her and another employee. I was told it would not be recleaned because nobody could live up to MY standard of clean! Ummm...excuse me?! You are telling me that I should just accept the fact that I am living in someone else's grime? It took a few weeks and 100 emails, but she finally agreed to replace the carpet. Now, mind you, I had paid almost $2,000 for movers. I was told I had to move EVERYTHING out of the house other than the large furniture, take everything off the walls, and have nothing hanging in the closets. What?!! I have to completely move back out?! I have a 3bdrm and they are upstairs! I was NOT taking everything down the stairs and then back up again. So that was ANOTHER argument and 100 emails! I finally convinced her to have the carpet company come back another time and do the smaller bedroom so I could move everything into there, but it was a BATTLE. It seemed like a good compromise but I tell you, I had to fight TOOTH AND NAIL for that solution. EVERYthing is a hassle with this woman! She literally doesn't care about the residents and makes snap decisions and it is ALWAYS against what it wanted/needed. I FINALLY get the new carpet. Great! It's nice but the carpet company put in the WORST transition strips between the kitchen and the dining room, and the hallway and the upstairs bathroom. They are the wrong color and they are a big HARD lump - so much so that it hurts your foot if you step on it with no shoes on. I was also missing 2 floor vents. I thought the carpet guys were coming back in a few weeks so I wasn't too concerned about it. The first possible date for the 2nd install passed and I never heard anything. It was nearing the 2nd date so I emailed Brittanie and asked her if they were coming. She said she wasn't sure so she would get back with me. I had already taken everything out of the room so it was ready. I never heard anything back so I just put my stuff back in the room. I'm done! They will have to wait until I move out to replace it. I've been here 7 weeks and have not been able to get fully settled. So, I had mentioned the missing floor vents a week or so ago, and now that the carpet guys aren't coming back, I put in a work order to get the vents replaced. Guess what?!! Now, because it's been THREE weeks since the carpet install, she says I have to pay for the floor vents! Seriously?? I can't wait until February so I can get the heck out of this place!

We ordered two of them, we like to use them almost as a sectional, but the best is we can switch the couches, so one side doesn't get too worn. The couches are super comfortable looking for in our family room. We choose a special duty fabric which repels stains and liquids, it is very soft and nice. We are very happy with these American-made sofas.

I initially moved in as a last resort. The move-in process was ok, she forgot to give me a parking…read morepass. Also, when I moved in there were several issues with the unit I was in. There were multiple floods in the kitchen, and dining room causing me to some days have to call off of work and rearrange my work area which was in the dining room. People also left their laundry in the washers and dryers for 1-2 days forcing you remove their clothes from the dryer. The next thing that happen which was a huge turn off to me. A guy was attempting to enter my unit through the balcony, and when I opened the blinds and yelled at him he says OMg I'm so sorry. The he stands there for at least 5 minutes. I called the police that night and management in the morning. I asked for the tenants name so that I could report him because not only did she(Kim Salas) describe this man down to the dog he walks everyday, she told me she had contacted Saginaw Township PD and they should be in touch with me. I called and emailed for weeks with nothing but excuses for this White man that he would be moving the next month so I shouldn't worry. Well I was freaking terrified, when I asked for a new unit I was told that my lease can be terminated and I can pay the fees for the early release by another manager at the time. Then when I address Kim the now property manager she denies telling me she knows exactly who I was talking about. Which pissed me off, because she was like "omg omg I know exactly who you're speaking about." I just felt as if I was a white girl, and he was black there would've been a zero tolerance policy for that type of situation. During move-out. I cleaned the placed better than it was cleaned when I moved in, floors shampooed, the oven cleaner wouldn't even turn on, and everything was fkn spotless. I get a move-out statement where I'm being charged for items that were on the move-in checklist. I know this was just to take my deposit. When emailing with Kim she claims that she doesn't see the move-in sheet that I turned in. However, I wasn't charged for the missing blinds or holes in the bottom of the closets (likely from the closets being opened and closed roughly), and I wasn't charged for the shower wall having command strips there. Now she wants to charge me $150 for the burn on the bathroom counter that was there before I moved in. Also there was a small hole in the wall that was patched up and as stated per the move out list it has to be able to be covered by one layer of paint. Of course she claims she doesn't see a move in sheet so it's my word against hers in this matter. I will be seeking legal action especially because during the time I lived there many of my personal rights were violated. During that time, there was a notice about other tenants living in my unit because my mother changed the address to my sisters to my home during a dispute. My issue with her was why in tf are you going through my mail when I'm moving in the next month. I was threaten to be evicted just weeks before my lease was to end. After that moment I reached out to Kim several times and she ignored me. I spoke with another manager about how I felt like she was racist and had allowed too much to happen with no apology. I have to be with my dining room and kitchen ceiling open for almost 60 days while they repaired the pipes. Several of my clothing items were ruined because there was a leak in the AC unit in the bedroom closet. Fox Glen has a Property Manager that is shady and I think that the place could be a lot better with someone whose honest and has some integrity. I will see you in court Kim. Your scamming days are over. Shoutout to maintenance for bringing me a stick for my patio door, and just for being responsive when needed. They respected the fact that I wanted mask to be worn, and they replaced the AC probably my second week there because it was broken. (You're the reason I gave 2 stars) It's unfortunate that Cruella in the office will taint Fox Glens name. Being a liar is not cute at all.

HarCor conrete company did an excellent job with my patio. They pulled out terrible concrete work…read morefrom another concrete company that had installed a patio this spring. They understood I had such a bad experience previously and truly came to my rescue. This concrete company HarCor was top notch, they went over and above knowing what I had gone through (with previous guy) and went out of their way to make this such a good experience. Their work was skilled, exceptional, they walked in with 6 guys and were in and out in two and a half days. They also brought in two loads of screened black dirt to help me out. I would highly recommend this company HarCor for any concrete needs. They do outstanding work - I love my patio!
