Ok, so first of all I love Phil. He is an amazing and beautiful person! I personally got to help assist him at a couple of weddings. So I have seen him in action many times. I can say without any doubt in my mind, he is the best! I have been to many weddings, some as his assistant, some as a guest where they had a different DJ, and some as a guest where Phil is the DJ. Phil will always get the crowd dancing and ensure they have fun! I have been to weddings of friends and no one dances. It is the saddest thing. I have yet to see that at one of Phil's weddings. He was extremely reasonably priced, and he has tons of experience-- in fact one of the reasons I hired him is because he had a lot of experience at our venue, which was great because they have a very specific way they want the speakers set up so as not to bother the neighbors. Phil was a great DJ. Here are some highlights: (1) We met beforehand for about 90 minutes and went over all the songs. He even had numerous sound effects for different parts of the reception which made it super fun. The way he had everything set up, we knew he would be great even before the wedding started. (2) At the reception, he talked just the right amount. This is very important! He talked enough to keep everyone engaged and to be on time with our schedule, but he didn't talk too much to steal all the focus away from the wedding party or the guests (we've seen many weddings "ruined" by an overly aggressive DJ). (3) Execution was perfect. He brought all the equipment. Songs were great. No technical issues. We got so many compliments from our wedding guests about our DJ that we knew we hired the right guy. This guy is as good as it gets! First of all, Phil is just a cool, friendly, and sincere guy. He made our wedding so much smoother and I can tell he really LOVES what he does. I met Phil at a bridal show and I must say he is extremely professional! He was the only DJ there dressed up in a suit and tie, very articulate, and geniunely nice! Phil DJ'ed our wedding and we were very lucky to have found him. He was friendly, kept the party lively, even kept us on schedule throughout the night! We met for an hour and a half before the wedding to plan song choices and general layout. He was exceptionally helpful in guiding us to pick the music for the whole night, getting to know our preferences and style and putting together a great song list that everyone at our wedding could enjoy. Our coordinator had to do hardly anything because Phil basically planned out our whole itinerary! He is amazing at what he does and his positive uplifting energy just makes you feel so good!
