Shocking: Don't leave home when they turn up…read more I had booked Abbey Fencing (Leicester) two weeks in advance for works to be completed on 13 May. On the day, at around 8:40am, two men turned up in a white van. I had showed them the works in my garden that were agreed when the company quoted me (see below) and said I'm just going to drop my kids off to school and will be back very shortly.  I quickly packed my kids in to the car and took them to school. I came back no later than 15 minutes and found the two men and their van were GONE; they left while I was gone from home. I rang the office and spoke to Paul, the Owner of the "company", who said he'd get back to me. I rang him a second time a few hours later and he said he could not get a hold of the guys?! I then rang again a few hours later, again to no answer and haven't heard anything since. I rang no less than ten times according to my call log on my phone to get my fence fixed, to no call back. I booked a day off from work for this installation. It's shocking service: how can the two men and their white van just leave while I've popped to drop my kids to school?! With no warning at that. The company then didn't even have the common decency to get back to me or offer an explanation as to where they'd gone or offer another date. Where is their customer service standards? Where is the reliability? Where is the respect for their customers? - nowhere to be seen. Horrible service. Will never use again and nor will any of my friends/family. 0/5 stars given. I have used js discounts many times over the years, and have nothing but praise for for this firm…read more they always seem to have what you need, and if they haven't they will get it for you, their stock and selection is the largest in the area, and prices very competitive. the staff are very clued up! you ask a question and you get a knowledgeable answer either over the phone ,or at the counter. delivery is excellent and always within the time scale given! and the delivery drivers are very helpfull, unlike some other firms i've used in the past. i'll continue to use js discounts in the future.
