Hi,
Anyone wishing to purchase 12 Locksley Close, Heaton Norris should look at how they have managed their property.
Look at:
(1) Parking. Has he called the Police about neighbours complaining about his ridiculous parking obstructions. ? How many times did the police come round ? Did he ever park with obstruction then proceed to empty all the snow onto neighbours driveway ?
(2) He planted some Front trees which encroached onto neighbours property by 3 foot ?. Did they cause damage to their driveway with fungus etc.? Just look. Also look at the back where trees are planted stopping light to their other neighbours. Just look.
(3) Did they ever raise their back garden ? which she said the the neighbours had lowered their land not raised hers. This was an amusement to their gardener They did not use an abutement to secure their raised rented land but preferred to use the "free" shared wooden fence instead ? That they did not pay anything for. From 1991 did they ever pay for any of the wooden fence to be erected or pay for its upkeep, no ! They complained to the neighbour's Letting agency who proceeded to repair at a cost of £75 a time. They said they could not afford it as they had to pay for an extension to the house. Later stated that they had to pay for a Villa in Spain and neighbours living abroad could afford it. Nearly losing their house due to the costs. Let them deny it.
(4) Water shed: They raised their land then placed slate chips so all their water ran straight off onto neighbours land. His reply was they should dig a channel along their land and did not mention a sump which meant draining it onto their back neighbour. Their Gardener just laughed and walked away. New tenant will have to sort this out.
(5) Planted bamboo all along the back side fence which grew to nearly twice the height of the garage and 9 foot into neighbours garden. This was tackled after some heated arguments but still to date has not been completely resolved. New tenant will have to sort this out.
(6) New fencing has to be replace (What is left) and the concrete stanchions straightened out to able to slot in fencing cards. These bent over with the weight of the raised land using them as an abutement.
New tenant will have to sort this out.
(7) Have they ever placed their property for sale in the past ? How many times then withdrawn it as they could not get their asking price ?.
(8) How many people on the Cul de Sac have they fallen out with ? Guesses ?
(9) Have she ever complained about people parking and obstructing their driveway ? Have they ever complained to workmen parking ?.
How many times ?
(10) Has she and her daughter screamed and shouted obscenities at neighbours so everyone can hear including children? How many times. ?
Someone somewhere loves them, sooner they leave the better. But all the problems must be resolved prior to their departure as it is not the responsibility of the new tenant. read more
