Basically, I've become an even bigger baseball fan since they started running the deal this summer and constantly ask my husband about the score - just so I know whether or not I'll be heading up to the corner for a hot beverage in the morning. This location is very clean. I've never had much of a problem with anything there and it's in a safe part of town (minus all the Bubbas) so I don't mind stopping here as a woman at night. The only bad thing that's ever happened here is once I was trying to use a pre-paid gift card to pay for gas. I've heard before that these don't always work at gas stations, but I was just giving it a shot. So, the card won't go through (no big deal, I have other options for payment) and this woman comes over the intercom screeching "YOUR CREDIT CARD HAS BEEN DECLINED." Huuuuuuuuuge pet peeve. I believe this situation should ALWAYS be handled discreetly. AND, my credit card wasn't DECLINED...it was a freaking gift card. But, that didn't stop all the Bubbas from turning around and craning their necks to catch a glimpse of Little Miss Insufficient Funds. I wanted to scream back at her, but instead, I just mumbled something about using the wrong card, bought enough gas to get me to the next station, and left ASAP. Given the turnover at gas stations, I'm sure that woman didn't even work there more than another week, but there was still no need for her to embarrass me like that. What if my card HAD been declined? Super mortifying. Oh well. My card has never been declined for 25 cent coffee.

Once with orange juice, 3 times with milk, and once with grapes. I guess I should be inspecting everything I get off the shelf but for some reason I expected them to rotate product and not sell spoiled goods. When I took milk back they wouldn't return it without a receipt (which I didn't keep for a milk purchase). I will be using the gas station across the street and Walgreens from now on.
