The place is open and spacious. You are immediately welcomed , so that feels nice. They have various food options. I have tried their beef vermicelli with shrimp curd and egg roll, which is delicious. My partner tried their prime rib pho, which was packed with meat. They're always very polite, they get the door for me on the way out when I have a large order, the food is always fresh and I've never been disappointed with it. Do be prepared to wait when you visit Pho Furla, when we walked in there was a few people in front of us and it looked like the staff was a little over whelmed. There was a little less than a handful dirty tables that needed to be cleaned before we would sit. So that could be a little annoying to someone whos starving. Once we were sat, I took a once over on the menu and landed on the veggie pho. That is the most important part of pho. I have not found any pho restaurants that have this delicious broth taste. They also have the best chili paste! We called ahead to make sure that they offer in house seating, and indeed they did! The gentleman over the phone was kind and funny. He told us that they would be waiting for us. As we arrived, they were quick to seat us. We ordered pho, diced beef and veggies, and spring roll. It was during happy hour I think, and we had a free Thai Tea with our meal! The food was better than expected. The diced beef was full of flavors and delicious to eat with rice. I'd have to say this was one of the better ones I've tried. The service was pleasant. I hate leaving less than stellar reviews but alas I will today. So my Chinese mom and white dad and my sister and I came to Pho Fula because mom was craving pho. Once in a while she gets to override my dad's love of all things "meat and potatoes" and venture out for a tasty ethnic treat. Ok, back to Pho Fula... anticipating a big old bowl (mom convinced me to get the large) of steaming hot super savory, complex broth with delightful meat bites and noodles, I was actually met with bland hot broth with noodles and meh meat. I added all the herbs and spices available but nothing saved me from my disappointment of this lack-luster broth. I mean so much of pho is about the supposedly, hours upon hours of boiling broth with bones and all the special seasonings... am I right? Nope. Not here, unfortunately. I encourage dad to get the pork chop (see above as to why) thinking mmmm Albert who was Vietnamese used to cook that for me when I was a waitress at Moshi Moshi in San Francisco. It was delicious!! Sweet-savory and aromatic... complex flavors, ya know? Well the Sườn Nướng here was, sadly, another disappointment. I'm not going to get into it other than say I think they brushed the chops with Kikkoman Teriyaki Glaze and grilled it. Nuff said there. My sissy's Bún (cold noodles with fresh herbs, grilled meat and/or seafood and egg rolls looked very good and she really enjoyed it. I think I would go that route next time.
