    15. Round steak and beef balls
    Ashley M.

Best pho place in Waianae, by far. The food is as authentic as it gets, and the portions are extremely generous. I also appreciate how organized the menu is. It's appealing with no overcrowding of pictures. I ordered the avocado shake, honeydew shake, mango shake, taro coconut tapioca, pho with round steak and beef balls, and the summer rolls. The mango shake is delicious! It's light, not overly sweet, and doesn't overpower the natural flavor because it's made with real mango where you also get mango chunkies. The taro coconut tapioca has the perfect balance of coconut and taro. My husband is absolutely in love with this dessert. The pho was outstanding. It came with all the proper garnishes and wasn't overloaded with noodles like many other pho places tend to do. Hoisin sauce and chili oil are served on the side, which truly completes the dish. The summer rolls were fresh and flavorful, and adding hoisin sauce to the dipping sauce tied everything together perfectly. What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The owner herself provides unmatched customer service. She genuinely appreciates her customers and creates a clean, beautiful, and welcoming space. She makes you feel at home and clearly cares about your comfort and happiness. I stop by a couple times a week just for the tapioca dessert, whether it's paired with an avocado shake for me or a honeydew shake for my mom, which she loves. I've also tried the mango shake, and it's excellent. You can tell all the shakes are made with real fruit. I highly recommend this authentic Vietnamese restaurant!

Been here a dozen times. Love their pho, it's so satisfying. I live in Makaha so it's convenient & close to home. I usually go for the steak & brisket. Also, it's nice & cool w/the ac & I like how everything's clean.

Amazing staff. The experience with the warm tapioca pudding, fresh basil , lemons and jalapeños to add to the pho was awesome. The service was more than satisfactory. If I could have given her my wallet I would have. The pho was fantastic . The business clearly goes above and beyond for their customers. Clean and cute interior but the take out I am sure is just as exquisite. Try em out if you're on the West side.

First time here and definitely will be back! Best pho on the west side! The pho had so much meat and the broth is filled with flavor! The bread for the sandwich was fresh! Customer service was so friendly and on top of it. Price point for all items was reasonable and we left full & satisfied. 5 stars all the way!

This location is located in Kapolei Village Center near Gina's and Mattress Firm. The parking lot is tight (IYKYK) but there are plenty of stalls. We went around lunch time on a weekday and only had two other parties. The interior was smaller than we expected, but we didn't mind - I'm not sure how crowded it gets during a weekend or lunch/dinner rush. We ordered: Thai tea, summer rolls with shrimp, medium combo pho, and large chicken pho. The Thai tea is such a generous size with the amount that you pay and it's so refreshing especially to cool your mouth off when you ask for a side of jalapenos for your pho! The summer rolls were thick and fresh but the rice paper could have done a smidge longer soaked in the water. Chicken pho was good - some parts were a little dry but it was in the broth so it wasn't too bad. The combo pho (I ordered medium) was a perfect size for me but didn't have as much tripe or tendon as I wanted. The highlight for us was probably the broth. 95% of the time I love to add hoisin or garlic to my broth, but this is probably the first time I've never had to add anything else to it because it was SUPER flavorful and the perfect amount of sweet already. Our server did not necessarily keep coming up to ask if we were okay but we noticed him keep looking at us and visually checking. Overall, this place is 5/5 and definitely would come back. We love pho and we're so happy there's one super close to us. Thank you for the yummy food and good service!

This has always been my go-to spot…read morefor their house garlic chili paste and traditional Vietnamese iced coffee--and thankfully, both are still solid. The garlic chili paste has definitely leveled up in heat since my last visit--noticeably spicier but still packed with that deep, garlicky punch. It's truly one-of-a-kind, and one of the main reasons this place stands out from the many pho restaurants I've tried. No one else does it. They also serve Vietnamese iced coffee the traditional way--with sweetened condensed milk and coffee that you mix yourself. Most places pre-blend it and serve it over ice, but here you get the full experience, exactly how it's meant to be enjoyed. For food, I ordered the chicken pho, while my boyfriend went with the combination pho. Both bowls were very good. The broth leaned on the lighter side flavor-wise, but it was clean, comforting, and generously filled with tender chicken pieces in my bowl. My boyfriend really enjoyed his combination pho, which came loaded with a variety of meats. The side garnishes were plentiful and fresh--lemon wedges, bean sprouts, basil, and even culantro, which is a nice touch you don't see at most pho spots. We also ordered the spring rolls. Two rolls cut in half, crispy on the outside but a bit doughy inside. Flavor-wise they were pretty mild--okay, but not a standout. Service was fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. It was quiet when we arrived around 10:45 AM, but by the time we left, most of the restaurant had filled up--always a good sign. Overall, a comforting, nostalgic visit with some familiar favorites and a few subtle changes. Still worth stopping by, especially for that garlic chili paste and iced coffee. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

The owner asked me to pick out my own coconut out of the cooler that was filled with ice cold water. I obviously went for the largest one and then she asked " do you want more water or more meat in your coconut?" I wanted more coconut water than the pulp "meat" so she suggested that I grab a younger coconut "smaller" one. She explained that the bigger /older The coconut is, the less water it has but the more "meat" it contains. I went ahead and opted for a younger one and this thing was FULL of water. She grabbed a huge machete style knife and went to work on it.. it was a bit scary seeing the danger that these small businesses owners go through in opening these things to please us tourists. She was amazing at it. I do need to note the following. My husband does not like the taste of coconut, because obviously we are used to a certain taste which is what we are taught to believe coconuts taste like... but her loved this one! young fresh coconuts do not taste like anything "mainstream coconut flavor". It is a refreshing soft, delicate flesh which has a soft set jelly type of texture. It is slightly watery and you will taste the coconut water in it, think of Chinese jelly with very little sugar, almost buttery and melty. The water itself is very refreshing with a very little hint of flavor. We both really enjoyed our island fresh coconut experience and highly recommend you buy at least one!
