There are a lot of delicious pho spots in the area, but what makes them special is the owners & their dedication to providing warm & stellar service, maintaining cleanliness, & most importantly cooking delicious food. We usually get the rib eye, round eye, or filet mignon pho, house special vermicelli, & egg/spring rolls. We have a vegan in the family who also really enjoys the veggie pho. Their chicken pho was also very new & yummy, but I can't stop myself from getting beef. Their house made chili oil is a must to add in your broth or dip your protein in. Smallest size is large, so be ready to eat! There's plenty of hot broth to enjoy your meal too. The rolls are crunchy & fresh every time. Their drinks are also really good: pineapple smoothie is my favorite for dessert vibes (perfect balance of creamy & sweet) & iced peach or passion fruit tea for refreshing vibes. Parking is very abundant. Service has always been consistent & friendly even when they're busy. It was our first time at Pho House when we stopped in for dinner. They're located in a strip mall which shares parking with Saigon Market. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we entered on Friday night, which was surprising. When we drove by another Vietnamese restaurant less than a block away, there was a line out the door. I ordered the House Special vermicelli bowl. It had a variety of toppings which I enjoyed. My husband ordered the char broiled pork plate with rice. The pork didn't seem char broiled and was more pan fried without any char. Same with the pork on my bowl. The server was nice. Walked in on a weekday night and it took about 5 minutes of standing by the front door to catch a glimpse of any employee. A line of other parties started forming behind me as well. I'm fine to wait, but a greeting to let us know they were busy would have sufficed. I was largely confused but it got sorted out once an employee finally emerged from the back kitchen! I ordered take out via Doordash. Their price from Doordash is the same as in store so this is the best. It was super convenient to pick up. When I came, the food was ready, and packaged. The packaging is normal, and tight. They double bagged the soup in case of spills. They used a tall, thin cup that perfectly snuggles in my car cup holder, preventing it from tipping over during my driving. The soup was hot and flavorful. There were 3 pcs of short ribs. One of the pcs didn't have enough meat so I would say this is equivalent to 2 pcs in other restaurants whose short ribs are bigger. The staff was nice and friendly when I came to pick up. Overall, the $14.99, I like the price very much. My take out comes with utentils, hoisin, and srirachi. The parking here is huge and ample. Overall I would come back for pho. read more

After being seated, we noticed that there weren't many people working but the place was busy so we were prepared to stay and wait, understanding that they have many orders to fulfill. I read the reviews and brought my parents here since our first choice was closed and had decent expectations which were not met. A little mom and pop-type Vietnamese spot tucked away in a small strip mall off of Hawthorne. I came early in the day for a late breakfast. The people were super friendly, smiling and so accommodating. I ordered the Bun Dac Biet (House Special Vermicelli Noodles) which included grilled shrimp, charbroiled pork, egg rolls, bean curd shrimp cake. The beauty about vietnamese food is that it's healthy, light and refreshing, and Pho House made it just right. The meats were all great, but the lettuce, cucumbers, pickled daikon and carrots all tasted so fresh. i never realized how many pho restaurants i have near my house and the fact that they're all walking distance makes it so much better. i decided to give this place a try after passing by it throughout my entire life and i must say, i am so disappointed in myself for ignoring such an amazing place. you're immediately greeted by some of the kindest people ever and they bring you water once you sit down. i ordered the extra large pho filet mignon cause i was extra hungry today. i also wanted to try their mango smoothie and i must say, it pairs well with the pho which is something i would've never imagined since i normally just stick with water. now, the pho itself was amazing! you can always tell a bowl of pho is gonna be good based off the broth by itself and lemme tell you, it exceeded my expectations. it was rich and flavorful i almost wanted to ask for more broth. the noodles were soft and very chewy which makes it extra enjoyable and the meat was so tender and they did not skimp on the meat! i will definitely say this is now in my top 3 favorite pho spots ever! i will say it does cost more than what i am used to but it is so worth it! the restaurant is also very clean and spacious. will definitely be coming back! read more

I came here with a friend on a colder October day as we were both craving something warm and soupy. We arrived at around 11:40 am on a Wednesday, and there were only two other tables occupied. We picked a seat by the wall with the mirror and were handed menus. My eyes immediately landed on the House Special vermicelli noodles (#9) since it was in red font ($14.99). From the description, it came with vermicelli, charbroiled pork, egg rolls, grilled shrimp, bean curd shrimp cake, lettuce, cucumber, pickled carrot and peanut (and a side of the sauce). The waiter (maybe restaurant manager?) took our order quickly and our food came out in 10 minutes. The vermicelli was a decent size. All of the ingredients were fresh and the egg rolls and shrimp cake were quite hot--I enjoyed the vermicelli very much. My friend, who got the House Special combination pho (noodle soup) and "L" size noodle soup ($12.99) joked that he didn't know what an "XL" size would have meant. He was satisfied with the size of the food given. There were plenty of parking in the lot when we went and as we left, the restaurant was a bit busier (with 6-7 filled tables). The TV screen was on and I recall there were low volume music playing throughout our meal. To pay, you walk up to the cashier counter--they do accept ApplePay as well. I enjoyed the pho, though the broth was not gelatinous the taste was hearty and beefy, just how I like it. The rib meat was plentiful and tender. The broth was rich with a little bit of sweet, so it was a nice change. The portions were very large. The egg rolls were homemade and good. Just wish there was more lettuce to wrap them in. I'm Vietnamese, grew up eating Vietnamese food, can make pho, etc. Pho house is legit. I got the Pho Dac Biet (the special) with all the meats. Soup was very flavorable. Portions were generous. The owner and the workers were extremely nice. On top of that, extremely reasonable prices (11.99 for large pho at the time of this writing) - unheard of during this era of crazy inflation.
