I've been craving pho since I moved to Germany 7 months ago. After previous disappointments at other restaurants, I was hesitant to try another BUT a friend convinced me that this place was good. It's a nice, small restaurant that is located pretty close to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.
We came here on a Friday night around 7pm and it was just starting to get crowded. We were seated quickly and given menus (they have both German and English menus).
We had the summer rolls as an appetizer and they were delicious! I usually don't order summer rolls in the states because I don't like the taste of raw bean sprouts (or I pull out all of the sprouts!). But these summer rolls were so good including the raw bean sprouts...I will definitely order these again. For dinner I had the beef pho (#8 on the menu). I prefer simple pho dishes. The pho was perfect!! The noodles were cooked perfectly, the beef was soooo tender, and the broth was flavorful!
Although the food was delicious, I have to say that it was expensive for the amount of food that you get. The portion size of the beef pho was small but looked big because of how they served it (large bowl, lots of broth, little noodles and beef).
It was my dinner stop on the way to the airport so sorry no pictures this time! read more
