Came back for my favorite bun Bo hue and it was good but felt like the meat especially the Cha was a little old. The spring rolls also had some old bean sprouts wish it was a little fresh. Banh mi was good and the service was okay. It was a little slow especially on the weekend.

Service was extremely fast at this location. Food came out fast, hot, and flavorful. There is something for everyone beyond Pho. The Banh Mi was good, however, the bread was extremely soft in my opinion. I wish it was a little more firm or even perhaps some of the bread scooped put in the middle. But all in all, the service was great, the location was clean, and early took care of our party of 5. Other members enjoyed their Pho, even taking home some of the broth, so I will go back to try that!

My husband and I dined in on a Sunday morning and the place had a great ambiance. It was very spacious with a lot of different seating arrangements to choose from (booth or tables) the decor was lovely! We decided to order shrimp ragoons, shrimp siumai, pho tai gan and sach and bun bo hue. The appetizers tasted great. I think my pho tai gan and sach lacked flavor and my husband said the same about his bun Bo hue. I'll probably come back to try other things on the menu because we really loved the vibe of this place and they also have a bubble tea and smoothie station.

Spring rolls !! That are fresh and not fried. Soup dumplings !! And Pho that is delicious. My hubby and I try to hit here a couple times a year. The pho is delicious. (I get mine without noodles because I end up bringing a lot of it home and they just soak up the broth). The spring rolls are so good. Fresh and thank the Lord not deep fried. Also tried the soup dumplings. They had a little bit of meat in them that I was not expecting but was not mad at either. They did have the yummy brothy soup as well.

This is the spot for pho in Aurora! Pho Noodle Station is located right next to Park to Shop in Pacifica Square Mall and we almost always make a grocery run after dining in here. I've only had Pho here and my favorite is the brisket with meatballs. I also enjoy their appetizers; pork egg rolls and tofu spring rolls. Sometimes we'll order a passionfruit smoothie if we're in the mood. My husband likes the grilled pork banh mi. As of June 2024, they stopped making crepes due to staff shortages, and on a Friday evening when we came to dinner in, they only had two servers handling take out and all the tables. The servers were a little frazzled (I don't blame them) but we still got our orders taken and our food served in a normal timeframe. We've been here plenty of times (pre staff shortages) where the service didn't feel as chaotic. The interior is nothing to really write home about; they have a drink station/counter near the entrance where they make the smoothies and milk teas. There are several aisles of seating, including booths on each side of the space, and tables w/chairs in the center aisles. We've dined in and had take out from pho noodle station, and I think the location is perfect to all the Park to Shop clientele to stopover before or after shopping. Grocery run or not, I always come back just for pho.

Good Vietnamese option in the fox valley area. The Pho was delicious with a generous portion of meat and was well seasoned. The pork bao was also worth trying. They also offer Bobba tea and various other drinks. Service was good and restaurant was clean. Thank you

I thought overall this place was just ok. The broth alone wasn't as flavorful as I've had in other pho places around the area before adding toppings to it. The chicken bahn mi was cooked well and the portion was enough to share. The service was also kind of sparse so it was hard to call over our waiter when we needed something. The restaurant itself is well maintained and they have a pretty large menu variety.

3.5 stars: I tried this pho place near me and hands down the best chicken banh mi I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of pho, but my sister really enjoyed it. The spring rolls were delicious with that peanut sauce. It added a tangy flavor to the spring roll. I will definitely dine here again just for their banh mi and spring rolls. We also got 2 brown sugar bubble tea and it extremely sweet for my liking. The interior of place is clean and classy. The service was great too.

This is a Sunday evening and I was out and about during the chilly season with family. We wanted some hot soup so I did a Yelp search for some good pho in the area. I saw this and off we went! This is in a strip mall surrounded by a lot of other Asian restaurants and near a huge Asian market so there's plenty of parking. The place has a modern layout. When you enter there's a counter for ordering desserts of assorted crepes and bubble teas. It might have been short staff that evening as the service was a bit slow. We showed up around 5p then the dinner rush come through, glad we came for an early dinner. I ordered the appetizer of soup dumplings it was good with a nice sweet umami sauce. I would get this again. The family got fried chicken wings it was ok looked a bit over cooked. They ordered pork bao but we didn't get it. The young waitress forgot so we told her to take it out of the bill. Be clear if you want to split the check at the table or else they will still give you 1 check Augh the math during a food coma... We got V32 pho soup all the fixings with no tripe. It was a good size bowl and they gave us plenty of noodles and meats. But the fresh fixings like bean sprouts, basil, limes, slices of jalapeño peppers was small for 3 bowls of pho. Make sure to bring up that you want one of EACH bowl of pho. I don't mind sharing but I do like a lot of bean sprouts in my pho soup. Plenty of noodles, meat was soft and I liked the mini ladle spoon you get to use in your pho. I like the atmosphere and layout of the place. When you pay its a computer pad and the staff waits for you to process your payment including tip which I sometimes don't care for someone hovering over me. Overall, I'd come back again if I'm in the area. My rating food: 4.5 stars Service that day 4 stars out of 5.

Service fee added to bill for lunch?!!!

Food, service and ambiance is just okay. Not sure why there was a service fee on my bill for $12.18. So if you're thinking about eating here, be prepared to be hit with a service fee.

This is my favorite Pho place in Naperville! The amount of food you get for the price is super worth it, and it's quite a full bowl. I got full after eating half of my portion and took the rest home. I love the broth as it is so tasty and it is cooked with the beef so the flavor is infused really well. I typically am not a huge fan of pho due to the noodles being really bland, but even the noodles incorporated so much of the flavor that they taste good on their own. This place also gives a generous portion of meat and veggies for the soup. The service is also so friendly and fast. On my most recent visit, our waiter made sure our experience was amazing, and even offered to treat one of us to a boba drink if we were able to eat a whole jalapeño. Being the spice lover that I am, I took the challenge and he was so nice to follow through on his offer to buy boba. The drink was pretty tasty, and I highly recommend trying a little bit of everything on their menu.

The service was bad. We only ordered 4 items 2 PHO, Fresh spring roll and a bahn mi...and the server forgot To put in the order for one PHO. It was the First one we stated while ordering. Then while eating the PHO there was PLASTIC in my food. All i got was a Sorry. Unfortunately the bill was paid because i went To the bathroom.... ZERO STAR

I would give this spot 6 out of 5 stars if I could, it exceeded my expectations. My husband and I came here on a weekend for dinner. I was craving pho, but we both wanted to try something different than our usual haunts. Enter Pho Son, a few towns over from us, and we were ready to give it a shot and drive through a new town. Their food is incredible. I'll even venture to say, their food was better than what I've had in Chicago... and I've had a LOT of pho in the city. We ordered: House Special Wings (canh ga chien) Tofu Spring Rolls Pho Dac Biet (Meat Combination); mine Spicy Noodle Soup (Bun Bo Hue); his What made this spot a winner was the quality/freshness of their ingredients. The little details of my dish that I really appreciated: a generous amount of scallions, clear broth, super tender tripe, and melt in your mouth brisket. When I tasted how fresh their tripe was, I felt like I had been consuming subpar tripe my entire life. I thought, "this is how tripe is _supposed_ to taste." Similar, maybe, to someone who has never been to a steakhouse and then tries a gourmet filet mignon for the first time. The comparison is for a totally different part of the cow, but you know what I mean!). It was cooked "right" and it made all the difference. My husband enjoyed his spicy noodle soup. It was not called Bun Bo Hue on the menu, but this was essentially what it was. He ordered his without shrimp. Our appetizers were also fresh and tasty. The wings were delicious with a sticky honey-fish sauce glaze that was finger lickin', need-to-wash-your-hands-after-you-eat-them, good. TL;DR Pho Son is excellent. Since I am still fairly new to the western suburbs, this spot reminds me of the restaurants in Uptown where I would go for a bowl of pho, but even better. We only tried their noodle soups here, but I'd come back to try their rice bowls and vermicelli bowls too. I'm glad this spot is close by, and we won't need to drive to the city to get our pho fix. We will be back. 6/5 stars!

Sadly, we gobbled up the food before I remembered to take photos. D'oh! I highly recommend the Tea Leaf salad--a Burmese staple and a real treat if you haven't had it before. Very flavorful and just a hint of spice (don't eat the sliced peppers if you're spice-adverse, but we devoured them). We also had Shan Noodles (B8). I also recommend that. A mild to medium spice level and very tasty. Generous portions. Two dishes was enough for two though I wish we had tried the spring rolls or samosas too--we might have had leftovers if we had! In my experience, this signifies either the place was going to be a shithole to pass up, or it was a serious place to eat, then get out and go somewhere with an atmosphere. Happy to say J's (IMHO) is a serious place to eat. No-nonsense, direct and to the point. When I walked in, all those common chairs I mentioned were stacked upside down on the tables in the way that places do when they are closed. The taciturn fellow who worked there assured me they were indeed open, and explained they had just finish washing the floor. Please dont read any of this as negative-the best Chinese places I've ever been have looked like this-and if you've paid attention to the Travel/Food shows on the TeeVee, the joints in China itself are pretty much the same. On to the food, know this place is a Serious REAL-DEAL Chinese resto. I didn't notice if there were "Occidental" Chinese-type dishes on the carte, (primarily 'cos I wasn't looking for them). What I saw looked yum, and had a hard time making choices, even though I had read the menu multiple times and thought I know what I was going to order in advance. Confessionately, this is a chief feature for my tortured dining self-It's a wonder I even get fed in restaurants (especially the great ethnic ones), due to option anxiety. I zeroed in on "Street Noodles" for starters-wouldn't you? Then went to "Cold Beef Shank" for entreé. The Noodles were fab as was the Shank. The noodles were in a broth. with some hunks of bok choy and ground meat on top. Hearty, still light. The shank had a thin sauce complimenting but not obscuring the beefiness. One bugaboo: the Shank needed a bit of seasoning, and I wasn't going to use soy sauce, as I believed that would have marred the subtle flavors of the Beef. I asked for a salt shaker. It arrived, and I was a little taken back, 'cos it appeared it hadn't been washed in a while, and the salt inside was caked. It occurred to me this condition was present due to the non-use of said shaker. I don't think I've ever asked for a salt shaker in a Chinese resto. I pulled a toothpick out of my "Murse" and broke up the caked NaCl. Applying same to the pieces of Shank, the flavor bloomed and I was a happy boy. Bring some salt packets along when you visit "J's", maybe. The fellow who was waiter and cashier was a "western" fellow, whom I engaged and turned out to be quite an experienced foodie. some pleasant conversation indeed. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back.
