Love coming here for pho!!! The portion sizes are huge so I always get the kids chicken pho or else I won't be able to finish it!! The broth is so flavorful and the prices are amazing!!!

Love love #26. I do not remember what my friend ordered but all delicious. Less fatty and you can ask for more cilantro. Fresh basil and beansprouts. Jalapeño for preferred level of spicy. Affordable. Great serving size for regular. No military discount but great service, food and clean overall! It is in Chinatown and that is a plus!

An oldie but a goodie. If you need a fast, delicious and affordable meal, this place is for you! Staff are friendly and service is fast. The food is always good with big portions! Our favorites are pork chop rice, grilled chicken vermicelli, egg rolls, Spring rolls, and Bún bò Huế (only wish their pork leg were more tender)! All in all, it's our all-time favorite place for a quick meal when we're in the area!

Best thing about this place is the value. Good size portions for the price but the food was just okay. The pho broth was too salty and the meatballs had whole peppercorns in them and weren't my favorite. The pork chop was very thick and therefore a bit tough. Huge restaurant with tons of seating though and pretty fast service! If you are really hungry and want a cheap meal I'd come here but I'd probably go somewhere else for higher quality food.

Nice homely feel pho place. Food was great, quick and friendly service, plenty of seating. The portions were huge , plenty of noodles , yum soup , and the jasmine tea was also a good addition. This one's inside the Chinatown plaza.

This is a good pho restaurant with many other Asian restaurants in close proximity to each other. Price is good, portion is good, food is good, service is good. There is plenty of seating and parking. To say short, it's a good pho place, but nothing mind blowing. It gets the job done.

I drive 45 minutes from Jonestown just for the Bun Thit Nuong. The flavor of the grilled pork is spot on and delicious. The service is always quick and helpful. Restaurant is very clean. Pho Saigon is where I take friends and family from out of town who crave the true flavors of Vietnam. They will continue to be on 'My Keepers List'.

Bun Bo Hue - if you're a lover of this then must try! @nhueats_

This is the best you can get with Vietnamese food in Austin. As a Vietnamese I've tried a lot of Vietnamese places and this place has an extensive menu and hits the nail for to the time being for Vietnamese food. I really enjoy their Pho and Bun Bo Hue. My family really enjoys their vermicelli bowls. The ambiance is a regular Asian restaurant nothing aesthetic but love their big open window. The service is decent. I'll always go back to this place with my family when I'm close by!

We were in the mood for some pho and decided to give this place a try. It's been several years since we were last here. Upon seating ourselves, we were immediately greeted with two glasses of water. The waiter then asked us if we were ready to order. We needed a little more time to study the menu. After a few minutes, the waiter came back to take our order. We split an order of spring rolls to start off. They were tasty and the peanut sauce was really delicious. I ordered #19 pho with round steak and skirt flank. Our orders came out very quickly and piping hot. My bowl had plenty of rice noodles and meat. I added the basil and bean sprouts. I thought it was very good, but my hubby stated that the broth wasn't robust enough.... he eats pho more than I do. There was a decent number of people here during lunch period. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals.

I used to visit Austin regularly to see family, but haven't been in the area in the past 5 years, & Pho Saigon was my go-to if craving Vietnamese. The food & service is as good as I remember. Highly recommended!

Best pho I've had in Texas!! As someone who's been to Vietnam, this is the closest thing to it. Broth here is so rich, not too oily, affordable, and packed with noodles/toppings. The line moves fast and the seating was clean. Even if the wait time was longer and food was more expensive- I'd still be ok with it. It's just that good. I'd give up my first born for this pho again. I almost cried at the table eating this. Will def be back when visiting Austin!!

    Bun Bo hue- regular sized

Stopped in for bun Bo hue because I saw a review I just couldn't ignore. Wednesday around lunch and the place was busy! I was so excited I could hardly wait, once my bowl came out it was bun Bo city! Although looks could kill, the taste didn't really deliver. Lol. I was honestly sad throughout my meal. I felt like I was catfished. The bowl had it all: pork hock, blood cubes, Vietnamese ham, beef brisket, thinly sliced pork belly. Everything was there but it was all half assed. The meat was not carefully prepared/cleaned so each meat was very "gamey" yet bland. The pork blood was not cooked as I'm use to and I would describe this as undercooked, it kind of melted in my mouth a little. Which is not what I would like for a blood cube lol.... I would never eat this item from here again as I don't ever want my love for this dish to be tainted. The highlights are presentation, freshness of herbs/condiments, and fast service from very attentive staff. Overall, there are other menu items I would love to try but this one wasn't it for me.

There were water, bowls, utensils, and sauces in the lobby for anyone to grab, which was nice. We ordered their cucumber salad, beef noodle soup, and lamb noodle soup. Cucumber salad was 2/5. It wasn't the authentic smashed cucumber salad, the flavor was missing something, and I mean, for $7 or $8, you would think it would be amazing....it's not. Pretty disappointing, I'd much rather have my sister's over these. Beef noodle soup was meh. Nothing special. Broth was very simple, like they just added salt and that's it. Meat was cooked very well. My soup came with 1 piece of lettuce, weird.. Lamb noodle soup was the same as the beef noodle soup; it did come with the black fungus, seaweed, tofu, and some vermicelli clear noodles, along with their handmade noodles. Made sense why it was only $13.95 for the noodle soups. It's reasonably priced probably due to not being authentic, though, I wouldn't pay more than $10. They had handmade noodles, which many people do like. However, their noodles were very bland, along with their soup. I didn't find anything special here either. Maybe I'll get their dumplings or fried noodles the next time we come, but it's a no for me.

My first time wasn't too memorable and the second time I got the ultra spicy veggie ramen and it was so spicy I cried (which is good haha i have very high spice tolerance so I'm glad I found a spot that can do truly spicy). This time, I got the deluxe Chicken Paitan DX Ramen (the one that comes with the chicken leg). Chicken Paitan DX Ramen: A sweet soy glazed chicken leg is served on a hot sizzling plate with a small bed of bean sprouts marinating in the sauce. The sauce is a sticky, sweet soy sauce that is so delicious. The chicken leg itself is tender, juicy, and has a great skin texture. The skin soaks up the sauce so well and even has some nice charred bits that add to the flavor and complexity of the dish. The ramen itself was great too. A creamy rich chicken broth. I got the spicy level, so one level under the top spice level and it was perfect. Not unbearably spicy, but had a really nice underlying kick. The noodles are a thin yet snappy noodle so it made it easy to eat. I love the corn and mushroom spirals too! Overall, if you come based on this review, make sure to get the chicken paitan dx ramen. There are only 15 served in a day but ask them if they have it because I was able to get one on a Monday night at around 8PM! It's a nice space, good for a date or even a casual hangout. The bowl itself came loaded with meat--they definitely weren't skimping to save money here. The meat-to-noodle ratio felt great, and every bite actually had substance instead of leaving me fishing around for toppings. As for the broth, I landed somewhere in the middle. It wasn't quite as clear or light as I personally prefer, leaning toward a fattier, milkier undertone that almost reminded me of a Vietnamese pho take on tonkotsu. The flavor itself was undeniably very good, but the richness may have been a bit too much for me personally. One way I usually judge how much I love a pho broth is whether I want to sip the bowl down to the very end, and this one wasn't quite light enough for me to want to do that. I've had richer and deeper pho flavors elsewhere, but I still appreciated the flavor profile here and could absolutely see why this place is so popular. It feels hearty, comforting, and satisfying in a way that clearly resonates with many people. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the atmosphere ended up being surprisingly pleasant. Service moved very quickly, which honestly impressed me given how busy everything felt. Even with the crowd, I didn't dislike the spacing or setup at all--the restaurant still felt comfortable, and the sound of people enjoying their food all around added to the lively, welcoming energy rather than making it feel overwhelming. Overall, Pho Phong Lưu ended up being one of those places where I completely understood the hype, even if it didn't become my personal favorite pho spot. While the broth leaned richer than my preference, I still enjoyed the experience and definitely look forward to trying other dishes next time.

Even at 4:30 pm, the place got pretty slammed. We're a house divided on this place; one of us thinks it was really good, while the other one thought it was only OK. The food comes out fast, alarmingly fast. The fried green beans are always a must for us, and these were good, but not superior to any of the other ones that you can find around town. The bok choy was also typical, and the famed mapo tofu--while wonderfully spicy--was really greasy. We both loved the cumin lamb, our favorite dish. What sets it apart here is that the meat is more "wet", and again, the spice factor was just right. We now have to mention the dumplings. Our kiddo ordered some pork pot stickers, and a woman came out to put the plate in front of her; our daughter then proceeded to move the sauce off the plate and was about to dig in when the woman came back, put the sauce back on the plate and then delivered it to another table!!!!!!!!!! How many food safety laws were violated in that moment is beyond us!! The potstickers were disgusting btw...frozen and overfried and terrible. Overall, the restaurant might have been 3.5 stars, mayyyyyyybe 4, but after the whole Dumpling Situation, we're settling on 3. Doubtful whether we will be back though.
