    alive cockroach

COCKROACH BAD SERVICE When we first walked in, we were told we could sit anywhere, but almost every table still had leftover food from the last customers. Only two tables were clean enough to use. After we sat down, no one came to us for quite a while. When a server finally did show up, she took our order, but another table that had been there longer was still waiting. To make matters worse, as I looked down, I noticed a cockroach. At first I thought it was dead and even took a picture, but then my husband saw it moving. Absolutely disgusting. The staff was inattentive, the service was terrible, and the restaurant was unsanitary. Never eating here again.

I was welcomed to try this legit Vietnamese restaurant and am happy to confirm it being good! The staff care for guests eating indoor, constantly making sure cups are refilled and meals are good. While the food is legit, I cannot give a five star review, as I noticed the amount of meat was very little for my large bowl order. Additionally, the basil I had on my plate was chemically smelling and old with blackened leaves. For the price of $37 plus tip, I would say my meal was decent but something I won't try again. If I had friends wanting to try Vietnamese food, then I can confirm coming back. The restaurant is nice for large groups.

Really good! Placed and order to-go. Got the fried marinated chicken rice platter (C-03) and specialty noodle soup Bun Bo Hue (P-15, spicy beef rice noodle). Think I added mushrooms + bean sprouts + tofu.

Pretty Solid Pho! I am a big spicy pho fan and didn't see any on the menu, so I opted for their Eye Round Steak and Brisket Pho, I actually regretted not getting the large size because it was really good. Definitely recommend if at Wichita Falls to check this one out

EXPENSIVE. Maybe it's because it's a small town I come from DFW so there's much of an abundance of Vietnamese restaurants. Pho was awesome though.

    Man this food was delicious

Tasty, authentic Vietnamese food in a busy, tightly packed cafe. Service is attentive and very friendly. Prices seem high.

I would have expected to find this spectacular noodle house in Chinatown in New York City at a much higher price point. The staff was prompt and attentive. For an appetizer, I ordered the Soup Dumplings that were excellent! Juicy and tasty! For my entree, I ordered the Pan-fried Sliced Noodle with Beef... OMG! I mean there was a chef actually making the fresh sliced noodles BY HAND in the open kitchen. The Sliced Noodles come with your choice of protein, plus eggs, Chinese cabbage, onion, bean sprouts, celery, carrots, and scallions. I assume this is their signature dish... a steal at $14.99! Run do not wok (pun intended) to the Fun Noodle Bar! I cannot wait to eat there again... Will I will try the Sliced Noodle Soup with Beef, the Roasted Pork Rib Noodle Soup, or one of their tempting variet of Ramen? IDK!

However, coming back today I would definitely not return. We started with the steamed dumplings. They were mushy instead of a nice steamed texture as if they had been sitting in water for an extended (emphasis on EXTENDED) period of time, which should have warned us what was to come. The noodles in our ramen appeared old with different pieces having different textures (soggy/mushy & stale). Everything was lack luster, the service was okay, however my breaking point was seeing one charge via my bank account and seeing another on my receipt. This place needs to find a new cook, freshly make their food, and lock in before they don't last long.

It is a little bit on the tired side, but what makes this place a hit is that the food is fresh and made to order . They do a tremendous amount of takeout as it was continual throughout the lunch. While I was there. They have a drive-through option as well. You can hear the chef the owner back in the kitchen preparing each meal when you come it does take a little bit of time. Prepare yourself because everything is freshly made to order when I mean that I don't mean like 40 minutes. I just mean an extra 5 to 7 more minutes because again it's made to order they bring one plate to the table at a time as it comes off the grill or it comes out of the stove. It comes over to the table steaming hot. If you're a soup lover, this is fantastic because your soup is literally right off the stove. I ordered the beef pho which had a delicious broth that had meatballs and steak in it along with green onions. For the side was bean sprouts and jalapeños I would've loved to have had some basil, but they did not have it on this day. The flavor was fabulous and seasoned to perfection. It was a smaller bowl, but it was perfectly balanced with delicious noodles. It was served by the chef herself who was friendly and inviting. Hard-working crew in here on this day, my companion had the chicken fried rice. They commented the chicken was tender and well seasoned just like the kind you would have overseas. The fried rice was fluffy and flavorful. You could see the vegetables and large pieces of egg which sometimes you're very difficult. This rice was not oily and heavy at all difficult to eat with chopsticks so you definitely would need your regular utensils for it because it was very fluffy. This location is near the Altus Air Force Base. There was a steady stream of servicemen coming for pick up and some dining in. This is definitely a fan favorite in this town and I can see why this receives such high reviews. I highly recommend recommended and will return.
