    Aspen loves Shrimp

SURPRISE, FANTASTIC FOOD!! I was HUNGRY after a long day in Denver, driving past 285 on Wadsworth, I saw a sign PHO in a strip mall, instincts said, GO IN! What surprise, ambiance decent, the booths, well, well worn and my service dog and I had had to find a booth where we did not sink; this indicates, lots of people eat here! And I FOUND OUT WHY! SUBLIMB AROMATIC TEAS & FOOD I must state given their long term busy restaurant, an investment into some quality comfortable booth seats would be in order to replace. Well Worn due to BLISSFUL means and TEA!!!2 The TEA (first) fresh herbs with Jasmine, HEANENLY, the aroma could be describe as Celestial - when opening the tea pot to my surprise, all natural herbs steeping in hot water. My Aspen LOVES shrimp, first came the appetizer, Shrimp Spring Rolls, with peanut sauce, MOUTH WATERING with delicatness!!, Aspen waited for the Pho Shrimp (below photo). Next, ( I was not hungry until!) placing in front of me a bowl of Shrimp Pho accomanpied by Fresh Herbs, Freshly sprouted Mung Bean Sprouts, and the BROTH, lightly flavorful - dreamy and warming, possibly a short book could describe the experience, along with the most plesurable aromatic fresh herbed tea! Service was never rushed, only checked from a distance! Yes, I did take half of the Shrimp Pho with us, these are large bowls. I had wished for some extra tea to go, instead, we will return!! Tonight we dine on the left over Shrimp Pho, my only regret is, I have no fresh Jasmine herbal tea!!

Got crab rangoon appetizer (6pc) one lemonade, one coffee, and two medium sized shrimp bowls. Total was $67! The food is extraordinarily expensive for an asian restaurant, although the portions were good. The $8 vietnamese coffee was actually just an ~8oz mocha. Service was kind, and I think the workers are kind people, but the final price was so high for what you get, I wouldn't recommend it. I also have not had much vietnamese food, so this may be irrelevant, but the bowls seemed to have a chemical or extremely pungent herbal smell.

They gave fairly good pho, spring rolls, crab cheese wontons and Vietnamese egg rolls. Service is quick. Waiters keep checking back in the table. Ambiance is average Vietnamese pho restaurant. Nothing fancy but clean.

This place is so delicious! Lakewood really struggles on the pho end but luckily we have this restaurant around... I LOVE and appreciate that this place gives decent amount of noodles with the pho. Other pho places have really been struggling so I was so impressed when they gave plenty of noodles for my small veggie pho (my friend got sausage pho). We got really fast service too and the bobas are delicious! Overall--this place looks clean, decent pricing, nice staff, plenty of parking outside the restaurant--and most importantly, delicious pho!! Definitely coming back again.

I ordered the egg rolls which were overdone and tooth. I got the pho 2 rare steak as a main course. The soup tasted like boiled water with little to no flavor. I had to add sauce just to give it a taste.

Pho Vietnam was recommended by a local Yelper. Miatsu was kind enough to engage and point me in the right direction for nourishment "elite style". This spot has two restaurants wrapped into one. The Pho side was special. Outside of the cultural decor and art that was posted on the walls. The staff was a amazing and accommodating. Banh Mi Sandwich Chicken Wings Vermicelli Bowl are just some of the highlights on the menu. I wanted to try more, but you know how it is when you just get into town you want to save room for the next and the next spot you visit. I just had the soup and saved room for a late night snack. If you ever visit Denver be sure to drop in and grab an authentic plate of Vietnamese food. Portions are the perfect size. They don't skip on ingredients or content. Wet deliciousness The other side of the restaurant was a crab trap house. Specializing in juicy crab serving in a form of seafood marination of goodness.

Awful place that does not use their brains when you pay. They bring a little machine to you now to pay and expect you and everyone else to touch it. Post pandemic can you believe the gull of this place. If I wanted to get sick of go sleep in a public restroom. I'll never be coming back with such a brainless operation. They stand there and hoover over you when the tip screen pops up. Yea..... Awful place was once great and just went downhill. Stay away and find another location. 1/10 never coming back.

Well that's how I felt this morning, so VinaMeals was where I ended. I ordered two items, so join me and read my food journey... Just had bánh ít tràn, a Vietnamese, steamed sticky rice dumplings dish. This dish reminds me of my mom's cooking where she used to make us this dish all the time to eat for breakfast. Lots ingredients inside the these three dumplings including mung bean, wood ear mushroom, jicama carrot, onion, garlic, minced with pork and shrimp. It came with steamed bean sprouts, cucumber, and fish sauce to dip the dumplings or just pour over the dish. I felt the accommodating items didn't add any value to this dish, but boy, did these dumplings bring back good memory. Of course, when you are here, you have to get their small wonton soup. It is one of the best I have ever eaten. I believe the broth that is the star, and the wontons come very close but just a second too late. This small soup is very filling, and I always wonder if adding a bowl of plain rice into the soup will make this dish a complete meal. We will have to find out later. As I am sitting here writing this review, I am truly enjoying the atmosphere. Listening to the music over my head, I am sing a little bit too loud, louder than mouthing the words. My head is moving from side to side, and my feet are tapping. I found my happiness here even though we leapt/spring one hour ahead earlier today.
