The office team is friendly and helpful. I read previous posts, so I was not sure what to expect. However, everyone is kind and helpful. Not one person is abrasive or rude. I am abrasive so I'm looking for this going into an office trying to avoid them, so I don't cause a conflict to occur over my situation.

It's just another day in Tifton for my dad and his family (sister, brother in law, niece, nephew, niece in law, and great nephew). He drove to GA from SC to visit family for Christmas. Things went downhill very quickly from there.. Christmas Eve has changed all of a sudden. My dad said to my aunt "I don't feel great, I think I'm gonna have a stroke or heart attack". Mind you, he was no stranger to heart issues. My dad has endured multiple surgeries - one being a 9.5 hour quadruple bypass heart surgery. That is no joke. That surgery gave him 13 more years of life. So my aunt got my dad into her car and drove to TRMC on 18th Street. They got in and from there, he was taken care of. Apparently, the medical care team who was working with my dad knows NOTHING about folks who have cardiac issues. Especially those who have endured multiple strokes, tests, had a heart attack while on a treadmill, failed stents, and surgeries! They ran tests, which came back with results that were not accurate. He was deemed "healthy" and the hospital chose to discharge my dad. BIG MISTAKE! While family asked for more testing and that my dad stay overnight for observation - both requests were DENIED. Yes, you heard me correctly - they denied a man who clearly was sick the right to medical attention. They handed my dad and aunt the discharge papers and they left TRMC. My aunt helped my dad back into her vehicle. They made their way back to another part of Tifton. That's when things went from BAD to WORSE My aunt made it back to her home with my dad in the front passenger seat. He was talking about how much he misses my brother and I (who live in CT) took two breaths of air, and keeled over onto my aunt's shoulder. Right after that, he was gone. My dad died at the hands of a NEGLIGENT healthcare system, one that FAILED a man who has 2 adopted children - a daughter and son! Lots of red flags, and the doctors/nurses chose to CONTINUALLY ignore a man who was dying! I thought hospitals were a place to seek medical attention for emergencies and all? Well, TRMC did the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! My dad is in heaven, he passed away suddenly at the age of 66 - which I say is YOUNG. I miss my dad more n more with each passing day! I love him and wish he was physically here - as I have so many amazing things to share. But nope, I can't get a hold of him. Heaven has no phones. Tift Regional Medical Center, my family is heartbroken. A father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, cousin, nephew, great nephew, friend, and all-around great man DIED SUDDENLY because you claim he was "very healthy". Before I forget, I give ZERO stars to Kayla, who works in the medical records department, as she is incredibly RUDE and lacks RESPECT, EMPATHY, and PROFESSIONALISM!! She LAUGHED at me when I called and politely asked for my dad's death records. Kayla does NOT act the way that a southern woman should and that's beyond appalling! Nobody should bee have to endure what my family did. Death is no joke. It is something that I truly STRUGGLE with EVERYDAY, because my dad is no longer physically here! ***** TODAY IS MY DAD'S BIRTHDAY, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN 82 *****

I went to this location because the one in Valdosta was so bad (they lost my base line test results…read moreand failed to schedule an MRI I needed and when asked about it the person on the phone got VERY rude and told me they wouldn't give me any information unless I came back for yet another visit and evaluation.) I was actually willing to drive an hour to get to the one in Tifton if they could help with my pain. So my spine specialist referred me. I waited 8 weeks to get in for their evaluation for epidural injections for my back. Once I was seen they said they had to get approval from my insurance, of course, then we could proceed. I waited 3 weeks before I called to check the status of the insurance and the girl told me they had submitted it and just had to wait. So I waited another week and a half before calling my insurance to see what the status of the authorization was. They went back more than a month and said they showed no request for authorization at all from this company. I immediately called and left a voicemail for a nurse to request a call back as the insurance never received their request. That was 4 days ago now and no one has bothered to call me back. In the meantime I'm struggling to function with normal daily activities because my back has 3 areas that are bone on bone and one herniated disc that is impinging on multiple nerves. At this point I'm looking for someplace else to go. If I could rate both these places a negative score, I would!

I was taken aback when I had labs done in office before I had insurance, that would be my only complaint. But Dr Jackson did not hesitate to write me a Rx to have my blood work done In an outside facility where it was $$$ much cheaper. The offices are really nice and the staff is very nice and helpful. A little background on my injury: In late August 2013 I was stacking pallets in the loading dock at my job. Little did I know that the pallet jack in which the pallets were located on was raised. A pallet that I tried to stack on top slid off and cause me to fall on the floor. A subsequent visit to the MRI I almost completely tore my left quadricep tendon off of my patella, suffered major contusions, and also sprung my ankle. I was required to have surgery in order to walk again. I had surgery the following month; it was successful. He installed a suture anchor into my leg which slowly helps the tendon reconnect to the kneecap. Was forced to wear a hinged leg brace and use crutches (later a cane) for about six months. After lots of physical therapy and doctor's appointments, I was slowly able to walk on my own again. My leg is no longer 100%, but at least I know that I am back to peak strength again and that I'm finally done with my routine checkups with Dr. Pilcher. I highly recommend Dr. Pilcher. He's been doing this for over 30 years and is very knowledgeable about the musculoskeletal system. He got me back to living a normal life again.

I need to give them fair credit for trying so hard to redeem themselves. Grace and LaTonya were my nurses that I nominated for awards. I'm not someone that you want for a patient. I was a wreck. They made me laugh!! Visited for a minute when I couldn't sleep. Really great care. So far above the last time I just can't describe it!!
