The drivers were not unfriendly or anything but just didn't feel as comfortable with them as other taxi firms, something creepy about them I think. Also when you call to book the people who answered the phone were snappy and rude and could not wait to get you off the phone. It makes the whole company look unprofessional.

My son was late for a job interview despite them reassuring me that morning a driver would be there on time. When he did turn up he was revolting and his attitude and that of the woman on the phone has cost them my future custom, There are other taxi firms in the area, I would consider using any of them before Neasham's. The woman taking bookings needs to remember it's customers that pay her wages and learn to be a little more civil.

Car arrived on time and journey took about five minutes but at a cost of £7 this seems overpriced and well over (almost double) what my usual taxi (JL TAXIS) charges. Also the journey was not metered, the driver just had the cost of the fare written on a piece of paper! The telephone staff have a good manner and are always very helpful. The drivers are always very pleasant and helpful also. You can also track where your taxi is using there app, so that old "Your car is just around the corner" is a thing of the past (not that I have ever had a taxi turn up late with this company). I would definitely recommend Aura Taxis to anyone in the Washington area. A very professional service and 5 stars does not do them justice. 10/10 for me :)

First time using this company and most definitely the last. The taxi fare was more than double the cost of other firms I have used and when I asked the driver why, he said it was because I was in a minibus and not a car. I tried to explain to him that I only booked a car as there was only me traveling and did not request a minibus. He said that it didn't matter, I should of refused to get in when he arrived to pick me up. I was fuming, but I reluctantly paid him the fare. I then rang another Taxi firm in the area and asked them the rules around this kind of thing and they told me that I had been ripped off and should report it to the council. So I did just that this morning, and was told off them that he had broke the law by overcharging me as I did not request anything other than a taxi. They said they would deal with the matter and would contact me when they had. So a word of warning, this company ripped me off and in my opinion would not think twice about doing it again to someone else. I would strongly recommend staying clear of this company! The only reason I rang these in the first place is because the company I normally use (Aura Taxis) where busy and had nothing available for the time I needed it. But in future I will stick with Aura even if I have to wait a while until they have a taxi available.
