I'm a teacher myself, and I can see how much thought and planning Ms. Flanagan puts into her teaching. She communicates constantly and I can tell that my daughter loves and feels safe with her. My daughter is four, and the other night we were sitting down at the kitchen table writing her list of favorite Christmas songs and saying words in Spanish. But all her teachers were good. The Home & School association is fantastic helping the school with a $34k budget with things like field trips and school supplies. There is a new principal for 2012-2013 so that may change things -- or it may not. The staff and parent organization is strong enough to keep the good momentum going no matter what.

Just found out my granddaughter was at a Great Valley football game ( yes she's a great student…read moreand goes to school there 12 yrs old and was a cheerleader)and a kid that doesn't like her called the police and said she's dealing drugs at football game. It's spread by text to the whole district within five minutes, her great reputation and attending the school was over at that point. The vice principal, police and school district did nothing about it. Do not let your children attend here as they could have same fate

But, as a past student in Methacton School District I always felt I was taken care of. I had so many wonderful teachers and support staff. Teachers and support staff who actually loved their job and went above and beyond. Those are the best type of staff in a school. The school district has so much community support. It has a tight home feel.
