I worked here for a while calling people to do political surveys. While this is not as bad as Customer Service or Telemarketing, it's pretty bad. To pass the time while waiting for our next victim to answer the phone we would play games or other exciting things like madlibs. Once we were doing a survey for this church program. The guy I was playing Yatzee with rolled one dice short of a Yatzee, sending him into a flurry of expletives, and at the same time someone picked up the phone. The person who answered the phone was involved in the church, and needless to say she was not happy to get an ear full of words inspired by the dark one himself. The lady called the church, who called the company, and my friend was my co worker no more. :( read more
