i dropped my phone on a roller coaster and the back glass was completely broken and i just wanted a fast repair and although it being broken it worked good as usual it charged and there was no real issue on using the phone, i came in here and i was charged 165 for the repair of the back glass which i was told over the phone it would be 150 but i'm guessing it went up higher because of taxes, the back glass wasn't the same color as my original phone and it took maybe around 40 minutes and my flashlight piece had been broken on the impact of it falling on the roller coaster and to fix it i was gonna be charged another 95 but i chose not to fix it. When i received my phone it was on and seemed okay but once i left my phone started restarting every two minutes and it was not charging. it stayed powering off every two minutes and heating up quickly even without using it and the battery was changing up and down and none of this was happening even when it was broken. I messaged to get a refund or if something can be done about it and i got no response and i took it to apple today and they said there was nothing that could be done and that something had been messed up in back of the glass so i had to buy a whole new phone. i came here because i saw all the good review and high stars but i do not recommend. read more

Whenever I'm behind the wheel of a car, I always have my music playing. It makes sitting in LA traffic more tolerable. Since Apple made it a point to rid their iPhones of the aux port (which actually makes music sound a lot better than using a USB cable), I had to buy some extra accessories to hook up my own music to the car stereo. I stopped by this location, and I was glad to find what I was looking for. Although I had to get the dual-port adapter at my cell phone provider's store, the two cables needed were found in this store. The store is small, but has a little of everything you'd need for your cell phone. The staff here is friendly, and the place is clean. The prices here are reasonable, comparable to what I'd find online. If you need to buy a phone accessory on the quick, I say give this place a try. read more

I got quotes from about 10 different places and there were only three in this price range. The other 7 wanted almost double. They also have a small random and oddly shaped spot in front of their store that perfectly fits my bike! small things to note is they took off my slightly damaged screen protector (without informing me [my phone feels oddly lighter, this may be why?]), and idk if they use factory spec parts. Theres some minor hindrances like delayed camera focus. But nothing to throw a fit about, esp without paying much more. Take the last latter with a grain of salt. read more

I tried to give the benefit of the doubt with the bad reviews, and I complete regret it. I'm down $160 because of this place. My phone recently started getting a green line but the screen worked perfect, but still, I wanted it fixed. I took it here and now my phone works worst than I originally got it. Had my screen replaced 3 times in 4 hours because the screens they kept putting in were all either defected or not the correct model for the phone. They never returned my old parts either. I believe this owner is dishonest and I will never come back to this shop. They claim to use quality parts but don't even know correct phone models and fitments. The owner of this shop is a man of few words but boy is he super nice and efficient! He got me a new screen protector changed in literally less than 8 min and even wiped my camera lenses and vents!! The best part is I mentioned I had an issue with my lightening port and he offered to clean it out and didn't charge me anything. I gladly gave him a tip because he 110% deserved it. I sent multiple quote requests to a few vendors to get an idea how much and how quickly I can get it repaired. First to respond was Phone Electrik at $35. No fuss, no muss, no appointments needed. Waited a few minutes to see how others responded. There were two "$70" responses. "$79.99" says another and added "phone would no longer be water resistant after repair." So, that was immediately a NO. "$59." And that if they can't repair it, I wouldn't be charged. (Uhm.. DUH.) The catch?! They didn't have the part in stock, so they'd have to order it which will take 1-2 business days. And they would need half as a deposit. Needless to say, this was a harder NO compared to that $79.99 offer. Then last was $80. It was a no brainer: Phone Electrik it is. Walked in on a late afternoon. They're pretty new, been around only about 6 months. I looked around as they started work on my phone and noticed plenty of accessories to offer - cases, chargers, external batteries, etc. They have a very impressive stock with beyond reasonable prices. (I would have taken pictures, except...) Paid my $35 and was outta there ten minutes later! I have no reason to give them a less than stellar review. They were swift and the camera is doing great! (Ample parking since they share the lot with other businesses. Street parking available.) Highly recommending! read more

Nice people until they get called out on their wrongdoings. Came in to get my battery replaced (for the second time with them within 6 months). After getting my phone back I get to my car and notice my volume side controls aren't working, so cant turn up/down volume and the on/off slider on the side of the Iphone is completely not working. I go back in to tell them and they tell me it's not their problem, and accuse me of lying about it not working prior to me walking in even though I saw them be able to turn my phone off by pressing the two side buttons which wasnt working anymore after I got it back. After I called them out on it, they kept telling me it's "not their problem" over and over again, and if I want they can put in my old battery back, so essentially walk out with a phone more broken than walking in. Funny enough, when explaining the situation a lady walked in for help and said that happened to her as well since she overheard, in which he quickly kicked her out of the store. Have been here a few times and the 3/4 times I have, my phone had a different problem walking out than when I did walking in. Again, nice people when all is well but quick to blame you when they mess up your phone. Now i'm down $65 for a battery, phone is more broken than before, but I at least know I will never give this place my money again after being treated like that. read more

Sador was the best. Had a cracked screen and took it to Apple. The only option from them is to replace the unit for $419 while I bought it for $550. Sador offered a reasonable and more affordable solution and had it fixed within 2 hours, even providing a tempered glass cover immediately on the new screen. I then brought in my iPhone XS that had water damage and determined by Apple at Genius Bar for "motherboard issue" without even taking it apart to examine. Sador took it apart and found out there's only one small piece that's really damaged by the water and nothing else. He fixed it within 10 minutes by replacing the water damaged part for $45! The Conclusion is: Apple has Imbecile bar. The real Genius Bar is at Phone Electrik. Who knows, my iPhone this time can last me 10 years vs 1-2 because of Sador's Genius Bar. read more

With my wife's iPhone 8, the speaker wouldn't sound very loud when pressed to the ear, it was so soft and faint of a volume even when the volume was on high/loud. We decided to bring it to the official Apple Genius repair shop at Deviceland on Hawthrone and Emerald, and after the technician had used a fancy tester, we were told that the speaker was bad and was integrated with the screen and it would require being shipped off to Apple for repair, with a cost of over $200. I decided to try another shop Phone Electrik that I had used before, on Crenshaw and Artesia to change out my worn battery on my old iPhone 7. We drove there in a few minutes and walked right in. I'll presume that the owner is the one at the counter when you walk in... and said they could try to see if it could be cleaned, possibly fixing the ear speaker volume problem. It took about 10 minutes and the technician there performed magic and my wife's iPhone 8 was back sounding loud like new and the job cost only $20! All I can say is good things about this place, as my son recommended it to me and this is my probably 4th time using Phone Electrik and I am very pleased to say the least!! Hi recently came in here about 3 days ago. And there was a new higher that was very shady. I called him over the phone to let him know. I was bringing an iphone six. The phone had no problems but the crack screen. So when I brought it in, he said he would charge me 65 to fix the phone. He called to say that the Home Screen button didn't work. And he was going to have to charge me ninety 95 the whole full service. Now money is not the issue. I had no problem paying the $100. But I just felt that I was being schemed and bamboozled and unselled for something that I didn't need and I was hoping that you acknowledged it and would be able to mitigate the issue.. After I confirmed him saying that there was no wrong issue with the phone. Once I stepped in to the store, he completely changed his Mind and said it was on his fault because the screen was put on wrong. Not only did I feel like I was being toyed with. I just didn't feel like I was getting the best experience That did I usually would receive. And personally if I see him working there again.
