One key piece of advice when going into the shop is that they can always offer a better deal than what they advertise in the brochures. The way they work is that they have a set amount that they pay the network and the manufacturer from each sale, anything they get on top of that is their commission and what they have to play with to get a sale. Find the best deal you can, probably on the internet, and take it to them. Chances are they will match or better it. I went for a Nokia N95 about a year and a half ago.
