Do NOT book with her. Although we eventually received beautiful photos, this ended up being the most stressful part of our wedding. Harlie Butler, Merakii Moon, broke our contract and did not provide photos within 6-8 weeks. We began trying to contact her after our deadline. We were promised the photos by "the end of the day" multiple times. When we would inquire she would make excuses and promise a new delivery date. If she was upfront with how long it would take, we would not have booked her. We were promised polaroids day of that she "forgot" to give us. Still haven't received them after her promising she would "ship them first thing tomorrow". We had to basically threaten asking for a percentage of our money back to get our photos. Our wedding was June 6th, we received only half of our photos on August 30th. Had to beg her some more to get the second half and got them September 4th. I truly believe we would still be waiting if we weren't constantly bugging her about the expectations SHE SET. I don't know that we will ever receive our polaroids at this point. read more

Harlie canceled on us at last minute for my daughter's bridals. We were very understanding and enjoyed the replacement videographer she sent. She did show up to the actual wedding over 10 weeks ago and we still have not received anything. I'm super frustrated and feel like I ruined my daughter's wedding by picking her. read more

Update: Harlie did finally reach out to me after I posted public reviews. She proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that there was no video or film because I did not realize that she did not have multiple cameras during a time which is busy for any mother of the bride, but also I was dealing with the loss of my brother in law of 23 years who had passed away exactly one week prior to my daughters wedding. She stated that we never mentioned video prior to the wedding day which is completely untrue. We discussed it at length with her in our zoom meeting with her and the Facebook post my daughter made looking for a photographer that Harlie responded to explicitly mentions video. Harlie even mentions that we had discussions about the video in a text exchange with my daughter. She also said that if we wanted photos of the groom prior to the ceremony that we should have stressed that to her. She also said that I didn't pay for any of the things that I did not receive which was not true. I paid for the gold wedding package which according to her contract should have included 6-8 hrs of coverage, bridals, engagements, polaroids, film, home video, and a gallery of online high-resolution images of your wedding day. She quit communicating with me because my daughter was the person she had listed on her contract even though she had communicated with me previously and she knows I was the one paying her. She did eventually send me a partial refund of $400 after my daughter contacted her. But $400 does not make up for the lost memories in my opinion, not to mention having to beg her to send what photos she did take and the fact this has been a horrible experience that will forever be associated with my daughters special day. read more

Update: Pictures arrived two days ago and look great! There is a variety of color and black and white photos. We had some candid shots and some with family groups Harlie was very accommodating and eay to work with. read more
