I had a short stopover in Copenhagen before a long planned week's trip to the Faroe Islands for landscape photography. The day before my flight to the islands I discovered my new tripod was inoperable. I was sickened as I had no time to wait for parts. My trip was saved by the team at Foto/C. They could have easily said they couldn't help me as it wasn't much of a sale for them. But instead they took the time to come up with a solution for me that required a lot of work on their end. I had researched other shops before I went and I am so glad I did. Thank you, and hats off to Foto/C. I am so very, very grateful.

I'd been told that FotoC was excellent beforehand and boy were they right! Easy-to-understand honest information, no hard sales pitch, just good person-to-person advice. The service was amazing from the start and I was really taken good care of. Besides the great people who work there, the selection is great, the shop is nice and the prices are completely reasonable. Great experience, I'm definitely returning! :) I'd recommend anyone to go to FotoC!

When you're in Copenhagen, you'll see these super cute retro cheerful postcards all over the place…read moreby an artist named Ib Antoni (one the most popular says "Denmark: famous for fine furniture"). I kept seeing them in all the gift shops, but didn't know much about them, just thought they were super cute. Stumbled upon Mikael Hauberg's tiny gallery shop near Nyhavn and popped in. Well, he happens to be the person who has been reintroducing Ib Antoni's art and drawings to the world after he passed away tragically in 1973. His tiny shop is filled with posters and postcards of Ib Antoni's art and they are SO CUTE. Mikael told us all about the artist and was so helpful (and patient!) as I selected some things I wanted. I ended up buying a poster and he shipped it back to the States for me, so I wouldn't have to worry about packing it in my luggage. My tip is to pop in this tiny shop on your way to Nyhavn and buy a souvenir or two!

I bought a lens from kamerahuset.dk online but payment would be at the shop. They had a campaign…read morefor some lenses for giving 750kr cashback. When I buy it online, it was shown a 1500kr discount for the final price. I called and I asked about this discount and also I asked how the cashback campaign works. They said the final amount is the one shown in the online shop and after your purchase, you will register your product on the producer page and they will send you back the money and it can take 2-3 weeks. So I thought these two are different discounts. I waited for the product for 4-5 days. When I went to the shop to pick it up the item, they said there was a problem with their online shop and it showed the discount wrongly. I said I called you 2-3 times and once I asked you about especially this issue and no one told something about it. The real problem started when one of the employees called his "boss" to talk to me. I explained to him the issue again, and I said why you didn't tell me this issue on the phone because I had a chance to go for another product. He started to talk vulgarly and he blamed me that I'm trying to trick them. He even didn't say sorry and continued to speak aggressively. Several times I said I didn't know your system is broken and he said "you definitely knew and you are trying to trick me". This guy is the worst employee that I've ever seen in this country, he doesn't know how to communicate with the customer and blames people. There was nothing to take it personally. I stopped discussing with him and I bought the lens. They offered a basic filter as compensation for the issue but I refused it because the problem was no longer about their broken online system, there is no compensation for attacking people personally.

An easy five star. Prices are as low as possible most of the time on par with on line price…read more(!!!!!!). And you just sacrifice, well, nothing actually! The team is super, gentle, and knowledgable! Big stock and no strange surprises. For now the best photography store in town!
