TERRIBLE. I paid for photos six months ago and still have not received all of them. He messed up one of the photos and keeps saying "it's in the mail" or "I'll have it done this week". I filed a dispute with my credit card company where he continued to lie and claim I have everything. I've tried emailing and calling and get no response from this crook. Stay away!!! read more

John took my son, Sam's, school photos for 10 years, while Sam was a student at Children's House Montessori School, Atascadero. I was never disappointed. John took such great care and attention to detail, every year. I am so happy to have these photo memories. read more

We are very unhappy with the customer service we have received from John Alden. We ordered 2 photo packages from him at the Southwest Regionals skating competition back in June and we still have not received one of the photo packages that we paid for. When I first emailed him almost 2 months ago, he said he would get the photos to us quickly. I had to email him again 3 weeks after that because we still hadn't received the photos and ask him again what was going on. Again we were told this would be resolved quickly. Another 2 weeks went by and still no photos. During this time, he never contacted me to update me on the photos. IF he lost the photos, they were deleted or something happened, he needs to let me know and not drag this out. Right now he has my money and I do not have the photos I paid for. My emails to him in the beginning were very patient and I fully believed that he would resolve this issue and we would get our photos. My last email to him I simply told him that I now want my photos or my money back. He has not responded to that email, and its been almost a week. He is also not answering his phone. \ We will now file a complaint through the BBB website and other agencies so that we can get our money back. read more

If there was a rating for less than one star I'd give them that. THEY LOST MY PHOTOS. They called me and said they'd lost them. They were way too friendly about it. The photos were from a special skating event so we can't go back and have them retaken. My daughter and her partner who are had worked so hard, made first place and these jerks lost the photos. I am beyond pissed off about it. And of course they didn't tell me about it until two weeks after the event. They said ours were the only ones that were lost but I don't believe that for one minute. Last year they took photos too. Those took 6 months to get to us. The crops were horrible. Feet and hands came right to the edge (so any frame would cut them off.) STAY AWAY from these people. read more

If I could give zero, I would definitely do that. They took the worst pictures ever. And they required to be prepaid with school. So next time when your school ask you to prepay with this company, don't waste your money. Just take pictures by yourself, it will be way better than what they take. They won't deliver good images. read more
