Todd has always been very attentive to my feedback and i've always left feeling better than when i went in. it's true that they repeat the same exercises and stretches but that's so that you gain strength and flexibility in the muscles related to your injury. every time i've maxed out in one discipline he's added another. my injury is such that it'll never get better but getting PT here occasionally at least keeps me from getting worse. in addition, the front end staff is excellent, always able to work around any appointments in my schedule. my thanks to everyone there!

She tried different techniques to see what worked best for me. She was very helpful. The second time here I was given Todd B. as my therepist. What a difference. Todd's approach was awful. He did the same thing with me every time I was there. When I told him that what he was doing wasn't helping, he told me nothing was ever going to help me. He never gave me ice, heat or massage therapy. My sessions were rushed and lasted half the time they should have been. He was rude, insulting and sarcastic. He made jokes about my pain and showed no compassion for me. I left crying after every session. It was a terrible experience. So I guess which Thereapist you get will predict your experience at this place.

The Kessler center in Riverdale, NJ led by physiotherapists, Lynn and Kelly, have been wonderful…read moreover the past year following my various knee surgeries, including bi-lateral knee replacement surgery in August '21.  They have helped me with pre-and-post-surgery physio to recover very quickly; always listened to my feedback on how my knees are feeling/progressing and adjusted accordingly to my feedback; pushed me beyond what I thought I could do in terms of the recovery; celebrated successful steps with my improved range of motion and encouraged me get back into playing golf, tennis gradually, post-surgery.  Their customer/patient service orientation, schedule flexibility and friendliness throughout was world class!  I'm grateful for their professionalism and knowledge!

What a disappointment. I had been there a couple of times before for the treatment of other…read moreathletic injuries and was happy with their service. This time it was completely different. The first time I went for my current injury, I had to wait for almost a half hour. I was then told that I could come back another day because the DPT was busy. I responded by saying I was there now. I'll wait. When I finally got in to get diagnosed, there were a ton of people in there. The DPT listened to my description of my injury and without even examining me, told me what my injury was. There were so many interruptions at this point I wanted to walk out. But, I stayed to a continuing stream of interruptions during the time on was on the examining table when she finally examined me, almost an hour after I walked in the door. Against my better judgment, I made another appointment. When I showed up for the next appointment, I again had to wait. Again, there were a ton of people there. The assistant PT had no idea what I was supposed to be doing and had to continuously go back and forth to the DPT who was again dealing with multiple people. I just walked out. They couldn't care less about me walking out and canceling all my appointments. Despite its name, this PT place isn't geared to athletic injuries. It is dominated by older people. (There is nothing wrong with that. Just don't advertise that you gear to sports. For example, the DPT clearly wasn't an athlete.) It appears that the service that was once the cornerstone of this place is gone. It seems that it is all about getting as many people in the door as possible (Read: $$$$). That afternoon I made an appointment with Sportscare. They are very passionate about what they do. I will never return to SportsMed.
