I tried to book in mid-December, but the website indicated no availability, so I contacted the company by phone directly. They had no available openings until the end of January. It seemed like a very long wait, but I booked a one-hour massage session for January 31. After having waited 6+ weeks for an appointment AND receiving both a confirmation e-mail and text message the day before - the therapist (Andre Turner) called me 6 HOURS before the session to cancel! Specifically, he said: (1) that even though I had an appointment that he would not be in the office that day; (2) that he was fully booked for the month of February; and (3) that I should just request a refund from Groupon. He gave me no opportunity to reschedule (not that I would have). I found him to be short and curt - with no apology whatsoever for cancelling me on super short notice. I think that he (like many other small businesses) signed up for the Groupon promotion and was overwhelmed with the response. But instead of admitting such, he simply "dumped" my appointment on a same day basis with very little notice. No future business for this guy!

My legs are also constantly sore from working retail--I'm on my feet all day with concrete floors. I was in bad shape my first visit with Will. He lets you know ahead of time if you're going to feel the spot he is going to help you with, and confirms his finding that spot with his telltale "mm-hmm!" He helped me to loosen up and put some real pressure on my knots. I was sore day two and felt incredibly limber the next day. I am impressed with his knowledge of the human body and his ability to right it using his hands (and for hours on end, no less!). I still can't believe the price for the house visit either--he is more than reasonable. Visit two, I can already tell that the knots are smaller and fewer. The experience is a true exhale. I am grateful for his work, service, and company. He's an incredibly kind person and a total pro when it comes to body aches. He incorporates stretching with TRUE deep tissue. He is very methodical in his massage, meaning he's not just massaging your back, or leg, or arm, etc. just to kill time. He is always actively looking to see where the problem areas are, and after he identifies them, he hones in and relieves the stress/tension/inflammation and doesn't move to the next spot until he's satisfied that the knots are gone or at least "broken up." Many of my hour-long massages are JUST of my neck and shoulders, because of the amount of tension I have there. What prompted me to write this review NOW is that he literally saved me yesterday, when I texted him early on Sunday morning, desperate to get a massage later in the day. I somehow managed to get a rib (or two) out of alignment and was in so much pain that it hurt to cough, laugh, sneeze, or even inhale sometimes. He of course was accommodating (as he always is) and helped relieve the tension in my muscles. Then he directed me to his chiropractor (who was excellent by the way - Dr. Terry at The Joint on Holcombe and Buffalo Speedway, but that's a different review) so that I could get my spine realigned. This morning, I woke up and all the pain was gone. I was not a believer of chiropractors before this incident but I am now. I had been long overdue for a massage (Pre Covid for sure) and had been looking for months for a place with great reviews. I actually found TMM via a Groupon, but I looked at Yelp and Google reviews before I purchased. I did like that I was able to schedule the appointment as soon as I purchased the Groupon, but I guess the offer was so popular that the Groupon scheduler couldn't keep up with the demand. Thankfully, Thaddeus personally called to inform me of the error and the appointment availability. Since I kind of had an ideal time for the appointment, I changed to a different Saturday. I received confirmation of my appointment as well as reminders as the appointment date came closer. Despite receiving a very detailed email about the location, procedures, and protocols in place at TMM, I still ended up arriving 2 minutes after my appointment time because I passed up the address (it does sneak up on you). From TC Jester, you can't really see anything that looks like a building until you pass it up (I am also directionally challenged, so arriving 2 minutes late is pretty good for me)! Honestly, I have always had female therapist (not by preference, just happened that way). I have no objection to a male therapist--it's just new people that I have to adjust to. I respected that Thaddeus discussed with me my preferences for the massage and things I didn't desire. He even emphasized that if anything didn't feel comfortable to inform him. I really appreciated that since it had been so long since I had a massage. I felt no qualms about the massage and rightly so because I felt all tension and stress leave my body after this session. From the warm temperature of table (which Thaddeus checked with me to make sure it was good before he started the session), to the warm oil that meticulously and intentionally eased all the muscles and stress with each stroke of the massage, I was in heaven. I asked for the Swedish versus the deep tissue, so my entire body received the benefits of all that was before mentioned. The music was very calming but not too soft and tranquil that you fall asleep. The icing on the cake--walking out your session with Thaddeus waiting up front to meet you holding a champagne flute of H20 to remind you that water is essential after your massage session. I'm sure I had the biggest smile on my face because gosh--this was a phenomenal massage--one of THE BEST I've ever had. That said, Jeremy / The Body's Source will be the one (and only) massage therapist who I review here on Yelp, because he is the very best! Jeremy's the real deal. He truly takes a therapeutic approach to body work -- I can literally feel the stress leaving my body. And when you commute from The Woodlands to Houston every day, you're stressed, okay? :P I visit routinely every 2-3 weeks and I've noticed that each time I visit, Jeremy does something different during my massage. What that tells me is that he adjusts his method based on me individually - even from session to session - which is the sign of an exceptionally caring MT. The office is clean, comfortable and smells wonderful. Jeremy utilizes aromatherapy / essential oils to promote relaxation/stress relief/etc. and again, tailors what he uses to the particular session. When my massage is finished (always too soon), he gives me water to rehydrate and flush the toxins out. We also typically chat for a few minutes. His demeanor is really warm, and the conversation comes easily. To sum it up, regardless of what kind of day I've had prior to my massage, I ALWAYS leave feeling like a million bucks. I talk him up everywhere I go and will continue to do so.
