If you haven't had a medical massage yet, you really need to try one out. I don't even get traditional massages anymore. I'd rather have my girl Tyea(she's a wizard)go straight to work on my problem areas rather than have someone blindly go over my whole body with broad strokes like you will get in an old school massage. It's like a scalpel vs a samurai sword. My body gives me a lot of good feedback in the way of endorphins/oxytocin/etc when I get some nice focused pressure right on some scar tissue or super tight areas, so I much prefer the precision that these types of massages offer. Feeling good during the massage is great, but the real benefit is the aftereffects. Since coming to see Tyea several areas have improved. Things just work better. I can stretch my diaphragm more deeply, more core engagement, gait is faster and longer, more external rotation of my hips and shoulders, knees don't hurt when I get up after sitting long periods, no more neck pain, mewing is better(tongue posture), no more peripheral neuropathy, less scar tissue, just to name a few things. Most people have no idea how good they could feel, and that they have adapted and gotten used to a certain level of dysfunction. It's easy to do in today's world. I can't say enough great things about physicians choice massage. They are professional and courteous and do great work. I was told By two doctors I would Need shoulder surgery. I was not able to lift My arm up over my head. Limited movement. I went to Devena and she fixed the issue. My shoulder is fine now and i have full range in motion . I tried this with one of those online coupons. I wanted to save this one for the moment I was almost done with my thesis. It took me a while to schedule an appointment, but after insisting a couple of times and also getting messages back from the owner/masseur, I finally got my day. My experience was amazing. I never felt uncomfortable and despite the touch was precise to release the tension, I never felt terrible pain or an effect after. I was glad that my skin was moisten with organic oils and not just left with oily stuff. My husband and I have been coming to PCM for a very long time. We have some pretty big issues that they have been helping tremendously. I have also had facials here. We constantly recommend them to people. I have not done so on Yelp until today, mainly because I don't think to do it. Word of mouth referrals have been successful in helping others come in and achieve the same satisfaction in terms of service. And they then recommend it as well. When I glanced and saw a one star rating, I was shocked. When I started to read that review, I could not believe it could be about this wonderful place. Fact...that "review" is all lies! There are people who have some issues and choose to try to discredit others who are highly regarded. The implications made about the owner are beyond disgusting. I will immediately be looking into what other "reviews" this "disgruntled employee" has posted. Chances are...they are equally awful. Moral of this story...make sure you keep in mind that when you read one horrific review amongst a host of superior ones, something is wrong. Very sad that such an honest, knowledgeable, ethical group of people can be so wrongly criticized publicly with no ramifications for those false accusations. I am beyond disgusted by this. read more

My life has been forever changed by Physician's Choice Massage, I have been going to them for 2 months now ( twice a week ) and have improved dramatically. To give some background I have spent my life on the computer wether it be at work or at home. My posture while doing so was horrible and over time it caused me to develop a permanent hunch and other various issues; rolled shoulders, bad back, lack of flexibility, terrible legs the list goes on and on. I was powerless to help myself. I tried working out with a personal trainer but the damage was done, my body was locked up and I had resigned myself to being a prisoner in my own body. My trainer had highly recommend Physician's Choice Massage many times but it wasn't until recently I finally gave them a chance.
