This building is surprising dull on the outside but, don't let appearances fool you. Inside you find a top of the line physical therapy facility paired with professional therapists. Their primary goal is to heal. While the Pirate was anxious to return to the boat, they explained the importance of proper physical therapy. It's a very important part of recovery and necessary as his job is labor intensive. Well with all that said, we're back a year later. Apparently his doc fixed him up so well that his poor shoulder couldn't take it. So another surgery, this time a new shoulder and back to the folks at Physiofit. 3 times a week, I'll bring him. They'll get him up and running again. In his case it will be up and turning valves and what not. Then it'll be yo ho ho and a Pirates life all over again.

I was greeted with kindness, respect and given much informed information that helped me to understand where the pain was coming from. A regiment of 2 visits a week as well as a daily home exercise program was started and in just a few days I was feeling some relief. As the treatments continued there was a definite improvement as the therapy went forward with increased exercises focused on strengthening my ankle. The pain decreased and the program was altered to fit my capabilities as time went on. I was always asked how I was doing and how was the pain. I am very happy to say the pain subsided within the first few weeks and it was just a discomfort until it got to the point of feeling normal again. I sincerely want to thank Freddie Breaux, Terri Lynn, Linda, and Ashley who worked from start to finish with true concern for my health. Your patients are very fortunate to have such caring and experienced medical personnel to help with their recovery. From start to finish you were all excellent professionals. I've been to a few others around and none have the professional skills and competencies of Maria (the owner) and her staff so I request of my doctor, to send me to PTS. They are knowledgeable, welcoming and overall caring. They still massages (unlike any other PT facility) and there are so many different exercises you can learn for your specific injury. Trust me, you'll notice your body responding to it as well. I didn't want to take pictures now because patients are in here but their motto, "healing in motion," is extremely true. You've got to put in the work because your body is designed to heal itself. Yeah, so you'll also learn a lot from them about the body, especially from Mr. David. Suffered with it for a year,…read moresaw numerous orthopedic doctors including specialists for spine, knee, hip, and pain control. after more MRI's that I can count on one hand, the final diagnoses were that I needed joint replacement in right side knee, hip, and spinal surgery. Also the following year I would need left knee replacement after I learned how to walk properly again. I went to Jason Jones and his staff for the last 9 mos. They worked with me 2-3 times a week every week. The exercises and stem treatments he designed were to strengthen and eliminate pain in each area of the right which were causing constant muscle spasms and lack of stability to the point that a walker or cane was always necessary. He worked with the pain doctor providing info where an injection may be helpful. I was always encouraged, and treated as if I was there most important patient, although the many others were also treated the same. He identified referred pain from actual pain with his treatments too. I am happy to say that it was determined that I only need a right knee replacement, and a pinched nerve (now relieved) was causing referred pain which encompassed my whole right side. I personally think he and his crew at Advanced are miracle workers, and cannot express my appreciation.

The office is nothing to look at, as it is rather plain, but for us the whole thing was about getting out of pain. My wife's back was out for a week and a half she could hardly bend over and could not even lift her left leg. I had been living with constant lower back pain for several months as well as neck pain which was producing headaches. Boy! Had I wished we had visited him sooner! After five visits with the doctor both my wife and I are totally out of pain. I don't know if this is typical for every patient but for us it was a dramatic improvement.
