Just covering your perspective When you take any kind of customer service course or even personal development, it talks about the stuff when things don't go right where you get the nuggets. I offered you a gift. Really, it wasn't until I was talking to a few of my older neighbours that I found that was a trend. We can all have bad days. Sad thing, I went out of my way to come back to Pivot because of my experience in the past. So even as a repeat customer, I felt confident that your people would help me figure out what was happening as my knee didn't feel like other insignificant injuries. I trusted you. When I tell you your Dr nor your physio DID NOT tell me to set another appointment, nor did your front desk staff when they took my payment, your response is to tell me I am wrong. And to find out if there is any sign of arthritis, something volunteered by your person, I need to pay you all more money to find that out when there is nothing here showing me that you care one iota about my experience at all. Actions speak louder than words. I really hope you use this as a training tool. I can tell you that this experience had me quite down at the thought of not being able to be physically active, a Grief inducing event. Thankfully I have others who helped me. They know I have an upcoming appointment with a rheumatologist and they told me to come back to them if the rheumatologist doesn't figure out the cause of my problem. I was really happy with their honesty and how they work with their clients. If I was looking for a new physiotherapist, I would definitely consider coming here. Location: In a cute looking neighbourhood (hey, it's cute in my opinion). I don't believe there's a parking lot. We always park on the side of the street and majority of the time there's enough parking spaces. The office is suuper clean and gives a very cozy and comfortable feeling. Omgsh, the washroom.. Full disclosure I came for 3 or so appointments. My physiotherapist came to a similar conclusion about my injury as my family doctor had, which was a positive first sign. From there, I felt like I barely saw my physiotherapist and when I did, she seemed rushed. A half hour appointment would consist of having ultrasound and TENS machines used on my knee (TENS machine is you lying alone in a room with the TENS machine for 15 minutes), so I'd have human contact for literally 5 minutes out of the half hour I was there. It just didn't seem worth the money and most importantly, the time spent. Any physiotherapist can give you exercises to do, but it takes the right one to truly be invested in your care, spend the time with you and ensure you're making progress week after week. All in all I felt like this clinic relied way too much on the use of ultrasound and TENS machines (at least for my particular injury), and the lack of person-to-person care made me take my bum knee elsewhere.

Car accidents suck but your recovery doesn't have to. In our initial assessment, she helped me fill out a ton of paperwork and gave me the ins and outs of physio and auto insurance. She has been treating me weekly for several months for injuries sustained from an MVA and I see a huge improvement already! Aside from the run-of-the-mill physio exercises and various treatments, I had acupuncture here for the first time as well. I ask her a ton of questions and Vicky is great at looping me into the process.
