It does not currently host a formal Bear event on a regular basis, but it has Bear emblems on the walls and many of the self-identified gay Bears in Prague hang out here. The bar is a bit smoky, but this is true of most of Prague's other gay bars as well. Music is a mix of contemporary hits, retro pop/dance. and older Czech pop music and occasional chansons. The older long tables have been replace in part with a number of smaller tables. This is more a come-and-sit-with-friends pub than a stand-and-pose bar. They have free wifi.

The venue is directly across from Kostel Statého Martina ve zdi, Church of St Martin in the Wall, a beautiful little church converted into a concert venue and art gallery. Look for that on a map. Café Flirt Bar is a contemporary looking place with two rooms with tables and chairs. It looks more like a café than bar. We went during a quiet weeknight. The handsome bartenders were friendly, and there was a steady stream of mostly locals mixed with a few tourists coming and going. Unfortunately, there is not much ventilation and the second-hand smoke was overpowering. We've forgotten how bad bars used to be! Czech Republic is one of the few countries I've traveled to that still allow smoking indoors. We left after one drink. While the bar may seen small, it could be opened up on the weekends where the downstairs cellar is huge! It doubles the size, with another full bar, DJ, loud speakers and more seating.

Right on the entrance there was an extremely rude bouncer, who screwed our mood so much that we just turned and left for good. Service is better at the public toilets in the subway all around Prague than at this place. Moreover, not long before my friend had come there and lost her wallet, one of the staff found it and confirmed it on the phone but when she came to pick it up they just did not return it to her, commenting it "it was not yours". Apparently, there were a lot of the same guess black wallets with her documents inside lost that night. Another friend was robed there. Thus, if you want to be robed, be treated as a piece of something and pay for this, come to M1.

We went downstairs to grab a seat, and were greeted by a friendly bartender. There was a decent crowd in, probably four or five other groups. The beers were really cheap, and the music was good. I imagine they have fun dance parties on the weekends because of all the disco lights I saw, but there was no dancing when I was there. As one of the only lesbian bars in Prague, give this place some love.

I came in and went downstairs to find myself right in the middle of the dancefloor with music blasting, fog everywhere, and people dancing on a table. I was pretty sober, by myself, and at least 10 years older than anyone inside. I sat down at the bar on a tiny stool... I think they were hearts and ordered a drink from a bartender wearing a pool floatie. The place has a fun party scene going on and it's somewhere I probably would have stayed all night partying fifteen years ago. This time around, I was glad to see my friend texted with the bar I was meeting him at so I finished my drink and slipped out.

You always meet great people here but it's not worth it when you see the way this place is managed with aggression and carelessness. Clearly I'm not the only one to have seen this based on other reviews.
