Rex and his wife create delicious and homemade pizza right out of their mobile pizza oven. The dough is chewy and thin, the sauce is really flavorful, and best of all, the price is incredible! The only caveat i feel is that you do have to plan ahead if you want pizza the night before. He'll post on his website or facebook when they're churning out pizza's but it's usually on Thursdays. If you decide to give this place a try, order on their website the day before so he can prep all the dough. The cheapest ranges from $11 for an 11" - $16, again prices are amazing for what you get nowadays. For our first time we tried the margherita and sausage and both were amazing even after driving the 20 mins home. A warning though, the pickup is in a residential area and the left turn into his driveway can be tricky to find if you're unfamiliar with the area and picking up at night. Some of those driveways are a one way street, meaning you'd have to backup in the dark if you take a wrong turn. Once you make it onto his driveway, drive up and past his gate. You'll immediately see his pizza trailer once you go past his gate. Drive past his trailer and you can u-turn and do a "curbside" pick-up. Rex also does catering and I've considered that but they are on the pricey side. One of these days I might splurge and go for it. Although this takes a bit of planning and might be out of the way for most folks, I'd definitely give this place more tries as he offers more seasonal pizzas in the future. read more

This pizza is incredible! It's very impressive that they can make a pizza from a small trailer and still use a wood burning oven. Overall they are very fast with making the pizzas. On top of making a great pizza they also are very friendly! I found out when I tried them that they cater for weddings and events too. I would highly recommend this pizza to everyone! It's a great family run operation where every pizza is made with love. Pro tip: if you want them to cater your event then be sure to try their pizza beforehand. We catered piazza pie for our baby shower and all of our guests loved it. I tend to be quite the snob when it comes to anything food related, but was really pleased with the taste of everything we ordered from pizza to garlic knots to salads. The set up is super cute and they offer different options to create a bistro at your venue - we opted for the standard package and it was very aesthetically pleasing! This is a review for the drive up take out. There's a website to place your order and you choose your *estimated* pick up time. He will do his best to be done by that time, but I would wait to leave the house until you get the notification that the pizza is ready. We chose 7pm pick up, but our pizza ended up being done at 7:50. Which was fine because that meant baby already went to sleep so MORE FOR US! Pizza is great, quality of ingredients is great. Honestly, pizza is not my favorite food but this pizza is different. If you go there thinking about 'Dominos' or 'Pizzahat' you may get disappointed. It was more closer to what I ate in Naples. Just had the most delicious wood fired hand made pizza from my neighbors who own Piazza Pie. They are currently making their artisan pizzas for pick-up or professional delivery. If you want to have the BEST wedding food ever and shock all your guests, I would highly consider hiring Rex and his team! I'm from New York originally, so pizza is very important to me. Rex's pizza is some of the best I've ever had. I barely ate at my wedding because of nerves but the pear and honey slice and fettuccine Alfredo I had was beyond delicious. All of my guests were raving about the food and trying to figure out what kind of party they can have soon so they can hire Piazza Pie . My family and friends have been enjoying Piazza Pie's pizza for 3 1/2 years now. He's catered our family's party's and once you try his pizza you'll know why we come back to him again and again. This wood fired pizza trailer is at the Anaheim farmer's market nearly every Thursday. There's usually 6 or 7 specialty pizzas that they focus on each day and I haven't had all of them, but I've had a couple. Amazing pizza cooked in a real wood fire oven in the trailer! It's fun to see your pizza made fresh and then thrown into the fire. The guy the runs it, Rex, remembers most of his regulars names and can get entertaining at times.
