The deals are amazing but having no carts in store and constant lines make this place not efficient.

The person checking out did not acknowledge me at all from start to finish. Very crabby. Lots of employees standing around but had to bag my own groceries. Could have done that in self checkout but the self checkout is the worst I have ever used. Very slow to scan the next item. Stops if you have too many items on the belt. read more

The products are ok. Prices are high but some of the sales are good, What keeps me going to Aldis instead is the checkout nightmare! lines snake around the aisles because there is one cashier available for those of us who do not like self checkout. I have two coupons I would love to use for things i need but I won't because of the checkout issue. read more

Went there Nov 12 Sunday filled my cart got yo check out. All the self check were closed So stood 8 deep in check out line I wasn't going yo wait 20 minutes yo get checked out do I walked out let full cart sitting in middle of the isle I hope never to go there again. This pick-a-dump is the worst. Where to start. The parking lot first of all is small, cramped, poor visibility and not accessible. Entrance is poorly visible and cramped. The inside is dirty, poor selection of foods. It's under staffed and poorly managed. You can tell Kroger does not invest here and they could care less. Kroger had it made here because they don't have to compete with woodmans and festival is way cleaner and nicer to shop in. Kroger needs to invest in a new location with better access and more options. read more

DO NOT USE the Pick n' Save Pharmacy on South side. They are discriminating against people on Medicaid and not giving the right amount of medication that they should. They just shortchanged me again. I was trying to transfer to a different pharmacy again, but when they saw I was transferring they quick refilled my prescriptions which made me go out of refills so I can't transfer. When my wife picked up my prescriptions the amounts were way off. I got 2 boxes and a ziploc baggie of my Lantus pens ( 13 pens total which is about 3 weeks worth) instead of the 8 boxes it said I would. Same with my Trulicity I got 1 box out of the 3 they were supposed to send. I also only got 2/3 of my month supply of Humulin. Yet I got charged for a full supply and now I do not have enough to last until I can see my doctor again. Also Monica at the Pick n' Save south store has been stopping me from changing pharmacies. I tried to change pharmacies after being told they couldn't get one of them that the other pharmacy had. She called the doctor and said no one could get my dosage but they had a lower dose, so my doctor voided my prescription and gave me a lower dosage. Then Monica called the pharmacy I was transferring to and told them that she called my doctor and had my prescriptions sent back to them. When I called about why I didn't my prescription the pharmacy I had transferred to, told me what happened and that I should just stay at Pick n' Save. read more

I see they are remodeling the pharmacy on Koeller Street. They need to expand the pharmacy and make it more convenient for people as well. Maybe move pharmacy to another place in store. read more

Ok, y'all. I'm from Memphis, and let me tell you, the best fried chicken I've ever had was from...this Pick 'n Save. For real. When the boyfriend and I were prepping for our move, we made several car trips up here, and while in search of quick and easy dinner after 12 hours in the car, we discovered the deli fried chicken. It is perfect. Hot, crispy, tender, flavorful, moist...exactly what we needed after a long day in the car, or working on our house. Add some ranch or some hummus (don't knock it til you've tried it), and you have a fabulous meal. We still get it as a treat every now and then, it's that good. Now, fried chicken aside, I'm not a super huge fan of this store. The produce is not spectacular, the meat selection is quite frustrating at times, and every time I use the self check-out I manage to do something it doesn't like that requires employee intervention, thus negating the whole "self" portion of it. Plus all the cashiers are about twelve, so they have to call someone else to scan alcohol. This store is slightly closer to my house than Festival, so I'll come here when I'm feeling lazy, but if I want something specific, I've learned the hard way that they most likely don't have it. As a grocery store, it'll do, but it's not my favorite. read more

It sad that this pick n save is within walking distance and in drive across town to go to the one on Jackson. We used to do our weekly shopping at this one but after multiple times having expired food, moldy produce the next day and less selection, I've given up. read more

Guys, I know this is a review for a dang grocery store, but this was the NICEST grocery store I've ever been in. It was so clean, well-lit, and didn't smell like dirty old food. We are from the south, where Kroger is well-known, and we did not initially know this was technically a Kroger. This store was huge and had sections that some grocery stores don't have, especially the pre-made foods/sushi/take-home/whatever you wanna call it. And for a veggie-lover, the perfectly stacked, colorful produce was just...beautiful. The best part is, there is a full on liquor store inside this grocery store. That doesn't exist in Texas/Oklahoma where I'm from, so seeing this and being able to buy COLD beer while grocery shopping was other-worldly. If I could pick this store up right outta the ground and transplant it to my neighborhood, I would. Too bad we only went in for one loaf of bread. read more

On Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 I was in this store and noticed some spilled syrup and honey on the top shelf where they sell breakfast condiments like jelly, jam, honey, etc. A middle-aged employee walked by and I showed him the mess on his shelves, saying, "This doesn't leave a good impression with your customers." He put his hand on it, mumbled something and walked away. I went back to this same store today, the next day and more than 24 hours after I brought it to the attention of what I perceived to be a manger and the filthy mess is still there. I took pictures of it on my phone. If the middle-aged employees don't care, why would the young employees care about the cleanliness of the store? read more

I will never shop here again, and after telling 30-50 people the story, they all agree to take their business elsewhere. I was at the self checkout and the lady running it was extremely rude, yelled at an older gentleman for having questions, and rolled her eyes at me whenever the system needed her verification for something. She was also taking smack with another coworker about another coworker, and all the customers could hear, including some children. I even heard her use the f word. Worst customer service ever, I will tell anyone who will listen not to shop here, because the people they hire, and the way they let employees talk is disgusting! Please do NOT go here. I will continue to take as many customers away as I can. Disgusting. read more

Decent selection overall. Mostly higher quality items. Bakery and Produce section are the best parts of the store in my opinion. Usually try to purchase meat products and produce here. Find the selection and quality to be more in line of my standards. Festival is a tie also with that. Oh and I do like some conveniences here, I love the Rotisserie chicken. Unfortunately, that's where my enjoyment and appreciation ends. The rest is simply over-priced and extremely expensive shopping that is just not necessary. I've compared over the years and found I'll spend 2-3times more money on the same stuff at Pick n' Save than I will at most other places. That's including using the pick n save card, sales and coupons. It's simply not justifiable or logical to shop here on a budget. If you make 6 figures, or have money to blow then shop here for everything and over pay. Service: If you stop by the bakery, or kitchen area, or meats dept, they are helpful and friendly. Most of the stockers/employee's on floor are usually helpful, or average. Cashiers are usually friendly and no issues. Self-checkouts are frustrating most of the time. Often time sales, especially on meats do not ring correctly. Store is overall worn and old, making it look messy in most of the main in-line isles. Produce area always looks pretty good however. Colorful with fresh looking fruits and veges etc. Not my first choice, but will stop in for some items. Definitely not a place I want to do all my shopping. read more

So I just want to first start off by saying, I used to love this store. But honestly this past year I am not pleased at all, Every single time I go to use the self check out your staff is horribly rude, and acts like when they have to help with something its a problem, that's why you have them there right? to help when the machines aren't working. Well they do the exact opposite they are always more concerned with talking to each other rather than helping anyone, Especially in the early morning which I am not a morning person either by any means some days but if your employed in a customer service area such as myself .. one should know to leave their problems and bad days at home. Another thing I witnessed this morning which made me absolutely sick to my stomach ( mind you I only come here because I work so close and got up late today or I would not set foot in this store at all again!!!) I saw a woman checking out at self check, she forgot the pin to the company card, The way the staff treated her made me feel uncomfortable so I can only imagine how she felt! two people surrounded her like she was trying to steal the food! all she did was back up and say I don't know the pin I'm trying to call and get it she wasn't trying to take the groceries or anything. And one of your staff members made the comment well uhm why don't you just pay with cash then, she did not have cash on her and she stated that several times before. I also know from experience of using the company card myself to shop that they do not like you to do that at all, because its a lot of extra processing for them. All in all I felt the staff should be a lot less judgmental and maybe more helpful and not act like a GUEST in YOUR store is a bother to them. read more

The guy who was working the self check out area one day was right on top of us claiming we did not know how to scan things correctly. We just let it happen. Tonight we went back and he was working. He continued to Hoover over us and kept grabbing things out of my hands to scan them himself. Will NOT be going back! read more

This store is deplorable... I understand going through an upgrade process but there has got to be a better way to do it. The shelves are half empty, everything was sticky and oh my goodness expensive! I currently live out of state and when I walked in, I was embarrassed to say I was ever employed here. The employees made comments about us and what we were wearing, the self checkouts were so slow and there was no one around to help when the "please wait for assistance" screen came up. There was carts everywhere full of products, huge pieces of flooring torn up, displays were caddy wapums and you could not find anything you were looking for. Overall these 'upgrade' have increased the prices but that's about it. Everything else, layout, cleanliness, employees, selection of goods is just awful. read more

All the stores were bought out by Kroger in 2016, and finally the prices began to come back to reality! We hardly ever shopped there, as Festival in Oshkosh is way better. However; with the new ownership, the place has turned around and is enjoyable. We'll very often find some deal or other, where the sale price is significantly lower than anywhere else, including Woodman's in Appleton. The "Roundy's" brand is quite decent, and we like their packaged hard salami. Their fried chicken from the Deli is right up there with what they claim -- The best fried chicken in town. Yes, it is! Broasted chicken is great, but a little bit expensive. If we're looking for a fried chicken dinner, we'll stop in at Pick'n Save. They make a really great pot pie, too! Then there's the fact that (at the moment) they're the only place anywhere that sells Eli's cheesecake! Frozen, true, but it thaws wonderfully! And they sell bulk nuts, not in every location, but certainly at the one on Koeller and also the one on Jackson. Hard to find raw Spanish peanuts, these days, and they usually have them. read more
