My friend and I have been coming to Pickle Time for over a decade; however, it is under new management, and the food was poor. All the food appears to have been frozen and then warmed up in an oil that needed to be changed. The fries were overdone; we couldn't eat them. The amount of oil left on the plate was shocking. I chose not to eat mine, which was a good choice because my friend became ill. I did as well but just horrendous heartburn. The food has always been fantastic, hits the spot every time and will never get old. We have had their burgers, their wraps, their sandwiches and shakes, all fantastic!! Don't forget to get a side of the onion rings and fried zucchini sticks when you go, they are to die for! And yes the food is absolutely amazing, but the service is what makes it! The owner and her girls behind the counter have always been so inviting. As soon as you walk threw the door you are greeted by smiles and "How are you!?". This is by far one of the BEST burger places my partner & I have ever been to in WA. We're definitely foodies & we're out looking at houses around the Duvall area. We were in a pickle with time, (see what I did there? ) and needed something fairly fast. We had seen this place before last weekend but decided to go somewhere else. When you first pop into this tiny establishment, it's nothing fancy. Just a good hole in the wall burger joint. It's the food that speaks for itself! You can have many different options here and sauces! (Mama likes it saucy!) We had unintentionally timed ordering our food perfect! By the time we had ordered at the register, & paid there was a que of about 8-10 people behind us that came in after to order as well. This place is obviously loved by the locals, and because there's no fast food like McDonald's or Burger king --- they have that as an advantage for no competing burger joint near by. Even with they said, IF there was a fast food chain, we'd still be picking this place over them anyway if they week! We're so impressed by the toasted bun, to the perfect amount of sauce on each burger, and veggie ratio, we forgot to take photos. So sad! Wanted to share! Next time! Come check this place out! Really sad. The Renovation to the restaurant looks great, the new owners are kind, but they've obviously changed the way they make things. The burgers are different with a different taste and texture, the bacon used to be actual bacon, now just sad cardboard floppy strips. They changed the fries as well, they used to be crispy and good and now they're boring and thin and get cold quickly. I hope they can reverse course, I've loved this place for years. I'm only giving them 3 stars because I don't want to be fake and falsely positive. Still better than fast food but right now not worth the price. read more

Good to adequate. This place is exactly one mile from my house so I have eaten there plenty of times. I cannot provide an unbiased review of the hired staff as we know some of the girls. But I can understand 16 year old girls being a bit nervous and seeming unfriendly. As for the food the burgers are sometimes very good and other times so dry the Sahara desert would seem like a swamp in comparison. Fried items very good. The wraps range from odd to disgusting. Not sure what concocted sauce dribbles out, but not a favorable flavor combo. Avoid. Listen, Pickle Time is better than the big burger chains. For that reason I'm glad they are in Duvall. I would of given this place 4 stars for food and community feel. I had a Thai Wrap. But, an employee decided to start aggressively sweeping entry matts right in front of me while I was eating. Of course I visible dust is flying everywhere and my nose starts to itch. Never, ever sweep or vacuum in front of customers. Then a man who I assume is the owner stuck his hand way inside the garbage can, pushing and packing it down, then walks immediately to the front door to open it for some reason, and sits down - without washing after packing the garbage. This gets the vote for the friendliest service I've had in quite a long time. Judy the owner is very sweet and treats everyone (even newbies like us) like family. That right there earns at least four stars. But the food was excellent! I ordered the french dip, my son ordered a corn dog and my friend ordered a turkey cranberry wrap. Our food came quickly, but we had time to partake in the tradition of drawing a pickle portrait for the walls of pickle. That's the cool part about this little gem - you get paper and colored pencils so you are free to let your pickle juices flow. But once our food arrived, we were amazed by what we received. My French Dip was huge, with soft bread and wonderful, slightly smoky beef and the perfect amount of Swiss cheese. I loved the au jus - it was super flavorful and perfectly accompanied the sandwich. I also ordered onion rings - they were perfectly battered and wonderfully crispy with nice smooshy onions on the inside. My son's corndog was standard Foster Farms, and his french fries were pretty much what you get at any restaurant, but they made him happy, and that's all that counts. Now, the most impressive part of our dining experience was my friend's turkey cranberry wrap. That baby was HUGE - I swear it weighed about two pounds - so if you weren't particularly hungry, you could use the sandwich as hand weights. But, I wouldn't advise that because you could miss out on some pretty intense yumminess. All in all, the experience was amazing. The restaurant is super-clean and Judy is so amazing! I would recommend this place to anybody who happens to be in the area, but I also think my family will be making a few more special trips out to the country to visit this little gem. read more

This is probably my favorite place to eat in Duvall. The service is fantastic. The woman who I assume is the owner is the most enthusiastic and kind woman. She always takes your order with a smile and is happy to assist with absolutely anything! The shop itself is so cute - there are pickle drawings all over the walls, and some of them are unbelievably good. There are some talented people in Duvall! Then, of course, there is the food. They make delicious burgers with a huge selection of toppings! They are very flexible about altering things too. Burgers always come with fries, and they make some damn good fries!
