Geez Pickups. I love your pizza. The location is a little off the beaten path for those that are traveling to the area. Eagle isn't exactly downtown Vail. But if you make the journey, it's worth it. Even if you know what street Pickup's is on, you may miss it. I know I've driven by it a bunch of times. We did finally get the gumption to find Pickups and grabbed a "pie". Is my east coast showing? The pizzas that we've ever ordered have all been rectangular. The Lord and Lady, Oh-Kale-No and the MD are probably my favorites, but you can customize any pizza you want. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I'm partial to thin crust, NY style, but these pizzas are DAMN GOOD. The crust is crispy and tasty. All ingredients and toppings are great. I feel like the pizza is always baked perfectly. There wasn't a lot of room to sit inside as there was a large party, but there were a few picnic tables outside and we claimed one of them. They have some beers and a small wine selection if I recall correctly. While we were eating, we noticed a steady stream of people getting pizza to go. That's always a good sign. I would eat here a lot more often if I could. Their Edwards location is closer to me and just as good! read more

Service was the best! Super friendly and accommodating. We called 15 min before closing and they stayed open for us - and even better, they stayed open late to let us eat at the restaurant. Best of all the pizza was awesome! Crispy crust that had basically fried cheese as part of it. THE PIZZA CRUST OH MY GOSHHHH!!! My SO & I go to Utah for the best pizza, but this spot.. changed my mind. The pizza sauce is amazingly sweet but just right, the cheese was nice & melted. We ordered the cheese bread too, a size small was larger than I expected!! I ordered online so we didn't have a chance to experience the atmosphere. My SO said it looked like the spot to sit down & enjoy your food though! It took our order 20-25 mins to be done but it was busy when we got there for pick-up so no doubt that it took a the time it did. My family has always enjoyed the pizza there but as someone who is gluten free, my most recent gf pizza was very disappointing. The crust was more like cardboard than the slightly softer crust I've had in the past. It tasted like it too. It was snapping when I tried to brake a piece off. I ordered a pizza with red sauce, mushrooms (which were very sparse) and extra cheese and can't imagine what it would have been like without the "extra". A sprinkle of cheese? I am a local and love that we have this restaurant in our town but come on, Pick Up! You can do better! Please get a good gf crust! I gave a 3 star for the business but as far as the gf pizza is concerned, I would give it a 1 (or zero). It's the worst gf crust I've ever had and I'm a long-time gluten-free-only diner. read more

Super disappointed. Ordered the 'No Pants' pizza that was suppose to have a white sauce. It didn't have any sauce at all, just some some dabs of cheese sprinkled on it. It was very dry. We called to complain and was on the phone for 5 minutes while the staff scrambled to figure out what to do. Then we were told that the 'sauce' absorbed into the crust and that is why we didn't see it. Which doesn't even make sense unless it was al oil based sauce. Which clearly isn't a 'White Sauce' They argued quite a bit and the 'manager' insisted that he put the sauce on himself. Hmmm. read more

Love this place. Guys inside are cool and have a good time while they work. Makes a small room feel bright and fun and it definitely is small in there but it don't bother me. Visiting Edwards Colorado and had a craving for pizza. The reviews led me here. These reviews are not off base. Excellent pizza! Flavorful dough, perfect sauce and fresh veges. I got the MD pizza which was sauce, goat cheese, sausage but I subbed pepperoni and I ordered the caprese salad. The pizza was incredible and what I would expect in a true pie. The salad was just ok. It wasn't a true caprese but I have to say the dressing that came with it was fabulous. But if you want a true caprese, that's not it. The pizza is worth every bite and calorie! read more

I was in town for just one night, looked up in yelp and I found this place has great reviews so I wanted to try. Also, I love their menu!! I got a small thin crust Uptruck with goat cheese. Mmmm MmMMm MmMmMm.... cool little place in Eagle, where we were staying with a cozy/hip ambiance and some delicious pizza! The place is a litte on the smaller side but we went after the rush. We even called in the order so that the pizza would be ready when we arrived based on some reviews that said the pizza took awhile to make. The told us that it usually takes 15-20 mins to make if they're not busy and that was exactly how long it took. We left our hotel, since we were just 3 mins away, and got there exactly at the 20 min mark and our pies were just about ready to come out. They were fresh out of the oven hot and delicious! The small pies were 4 squares and definitely more than enough for one person. The pan size was exactly what you would expect, filled with fresh ingredients. The red sauce was delicious and so was all the ingredients/cheese. The boyfriend got the lasagna pizza and loved it, I thought it was a bit lighter in flavors. I got the build your own "margherita" with mozzarella, basil, garlic, and tomatoes. It was good, though the tomatoes were a bit tart and the basil was a bit on the sparse side. The crust was good and stayed crispy, even in the center. We really liked the food here and the root beer was yum! Service was almost a serve/help yourself type deal once they bring your pie to the table. The fork/knives are by the register and so was everything else. This pizza was amazing. While on our way to Utah we realized that it was getting late and we needed to find food quickly. We called to place our order, a caprese salad and a large uptruck with pepperoni. I don't know what I was expecting, but this far exceeded any expectations that I had. When we arrived to pick up the pie I was so impressed with the presentation. Beautifully charred crust, obviously fresh ingredients, and I loved the little hand sized square cuts. Wrapped in foil and placed in a large paper bag. A bit unwieldy in my lap, but we ate half of the pizza before even leaving the parking lot. The arugula was fresh, crisp and peppery and the salad dressing was amazing too. We dirt bike in the area frequently and often camp over night. This pizza is so good that it will warrant future treks down from the local track just to stop and grab this thin crust deliciousness. We ate the remainder cold for breakfast the next morning and I can confirm that it was still quite tasty. Worth every penny read more

We took all the siblings out to dinner the day after Thanksgiving since no one wanted to cook. We ordered a large thin crust(round) and 2 large thick crusts (square) for 6 people. We had LOTS of leftovers. Which is great- since this pizza is delicious! We spent about $70, including a few drinks. The thin crust is thinner than a NY style crust- it is almost a 'cracker' crust and while it was delicious, I won't likely order it again. Yum. Seriously, we eat here two to three times a week. Great special combos, and I adore my go to "The Lasagna" Pizza with homemade sausage in the deep dish. It takes a while for them to make your pizza, so bring a bunch of quarters and play some pinball or Galaga while you wait. Trust me, it's worth it!
