Cookies & Cream Pie and Key Lime Pie
    Kathryn E.

While visiting the charming town of Woodstock, I was instantly drawn to this delightful shop--its name and cute exterior just pulled me in. I like that you can buy pie by the slice, making it easy to try more than one. They offer both sweet and savory options, and everything looked good. My sister and I each picked a slice and shared. She enjoyed the Key Lime, and I absolutely loved the Cookies and Cream - it was like a chocolate cream pie with cookie crumbles. There were so many tempting varieties, I can't wait to come back and try more. Stop if you're in town!

Service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal! Every single pie we had from the sampler was delectable!

Friendly greeting and great service. The shop was in a very nice area and the inside was clean and inviting. I really like the peanut butter pie and I also enjoyed my seasonal sampling of the pumpkin crumble.

Coconut Creme and Apple Struetzel - neither great. We didn't even finish.

I wanted to love this place. Pies were not flavorful, and coffee was even more disappointing. We drove from Florida to try multiple places and even drove from Milton to try this place...cute location and wish them the best. Don't forget to visit Bob the Turkey!

    Chicken Pot Pie

OMG soooooooo goooood! I'm a foodie; I love to bake and cook in general. Well, I won't ever make pie again because this place is so good. First of all it's adorable. Second the pies are delicious. Specifically the apple, peach, and chess. But the pot pies and quiches are out of this world. The pies are so dense, packed full of ingredients. The pot pies in particular weigh a ton. I don't know how they get their crust so heavenly, but they do. Everyone who works there is so nice and they also have Alma coffee. G.O.A.T. Of pies. Five stars!

I happened to be the area (as rare as that sounds) and decided to hit up Pie Bar for some dessert after a huge heavy lunch down the street. I got in on the last Pumpkin Praline Pie of the season and scored a slice. I paired it with a cup of hot coffee, adding some pumpkin syrup because why not? The coffee was just ok but the pumpkin praline pie was delicious. Not super sweet or heavy, but definitely everything you expect a slice of pumpkin praline to be. Indoor seating was limited at the time (early Dec 2020) but hopefully there is a little more room now that businesses are mostly back to normal in Atlanta. Can't wait to stop back in again next time I'm in the area for more pie!

Been coming here often over the years. I appreciate the fact that they offer unique pies but one thing I am not a fan of and it losses me off that the crust is hard and inedible. Bland and difficult to eat. Not flaky and butter. Just flour and butter and over worked to a Tough stage. We brought home two New ones, chocolate bourbon and blueberry cream pie. The filling for both are out of this world then we have this..... there...... crust. Sucks...

    Bourbon Chocolate Pecan $29

I have very strong fillings for Pie Bar! I took a virtual pie filling class with the owner, Lauren in October and loved the outcome. I've been wanting to get my hands on one of their pies ever since. I couldn't make it out to the store for the Thanksgiving pick-ups, so Christmas was my chance. We ordered the Bourbon Chocolate Pecan pie and chose the time for a December 23rd pick-up. Pick-up went smoothly. I was greeted upon entering and my order was waiting for me. I had a chance to meet Lauren IRL and chat with her briefly. She's even more wonderful in person. The shop is small but has lots of character. I love the warm and cozy vibe. On to the pie. WHOA. Honestly one of the best pies we've ever had. One pie was enough for four adults and we even had leftovers. Everyone raved about the pie, especially my husband who said we have to order another one ASAP! We will definitely be ordering another one soon!

    Chocolate Chess Pie

Cute little shop with affordable slices! We took three slices to go and enjoyed the key lime and peanut butter very much; though the chocolate chess was a bit too sweet. I liked that there were tea and coffee offerings and was intrigued by the jar fillings. I will definitely be returning to try more.

Key Lime Pie tart and super creamy. Highly recommend.

The raw bar is front and center, and there are several great options for oysters. There is a social hour option for chef's choice oysters, I believe it was a dozen for $24. I would've loved to indulge, but my friends were not so inclined towards raw oysters. We enjoyed the peel-and-eat shrimp and the blue crab fritters as appetizers. Both had phenomenal flavor, but the portions left a bit to be desired. For my main course, I tried the low country boil as I always love to see an elevated take on a messy classic. The spices were a bit underwhelming for my liking, but everything was cooked very well. I tried some of my friend's redfish, and it was clearly the star of the show. There was a wonderful textural balance between the soft pillowiness of the fish and the crispy exterior. The downside for me was the service. We had a difficult time tracking down our server, and when we alerted another member of the staff that we needed something, there was no attempt to resolve the issue expeditiously. We had to wait another 10 minutes before flagging down our original server. We were dining close to the lunch/dinner shift, so I'm willing to give them the grace that it was a fluke and not a habit. I would love to give Roberto's another try someday, the menu has a great variety, and the ambiance is hard to compete with.
