This place has great ambiance, friendly staff and yummy food!! It's a winner for sure and if I'm ever back in the area I will be sure to come again. For apps we had Silly Bread, Garlic Knots and Artichoke Dip. The Silly Bread is essentially pizza crust w/ pizza sauce given on the side. For the main course I had the Eggplant Parm - the grilled eggplant portion was yummy but I didn't find the bed of spaghetti underneath so appetizing. Perhaps next time I can ask for the spaghetti on the side because I wasted that entirely. I didn't have the pizza, but the family really enjoyed the classic Margherita and Portabello Mushroom pies. They have a nice selection of beers and wines as well. I would recommend the local Trapp Family Brew. read more

Five stars for pizza outside of CT (New Haven area pizza is rare) but this place deserves it! The decor is fantastic, the place is spotless, the arcade games (Ms Pac-Man especially) are cool, the service was great, but most importantly the food & drinks were great. Since the Notch was closed this was about a 45 min drive from Smugglers Notch for dinner so I was hoping it would be worth it, and it was. Yummy personal size pizzas were had by three of us and a meatball grinder with just the right amount of melty cheese and hand it fries for the last of our group. A delicious blueberry Moscow mule in the requisite copper mug started off my dinner. First meal on our first night of vacation. Surely not the best pizza I ever had, but probably the best pizza I'd probably have up in the mountains in Stowe Vermont. The folks on the phone were super nice and the pizza came when they said it would. I came here on a recent trip to Vermont, when I was looking for a take out spot during the current pandemic. Given that, the review is limited to the take away experience only. In general, the food was good, but a little odd. We ordered a large cheese pie and calamari, which was a fair price of about $30. The pie was good. It wasn't anything amazing, but the pie alone would have gotten 4 stars. The calamari was...interesting. I should clarify, the actual calamari were great. The marinara that accompanied it was a little weird and a little watery. What was even more strange though was that the calamari came with battered vegetables, so every time I ate something, I didn't know if I was going to be hit with a shock of pepper, onion, seafood, or something else! It was a literal grab bag of seafood and veggies! I think if I was better prepared, it would have been fine, but we didn't eat half of the portion because we didn't want to be assaulted by another pepper! This was hands down the best cauliflower pizza crust I have ever had. Everything about the food at this restaurant was fabulous. We had garlic knots and calamari for appetizers and everyone had either pizza or a calzone for their main course. We were a party of 6 and everyone loved and raved about what they had. The service was top notch as well. Maggie was our server and she was super knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We also really enjoyed the slightly upscale atmosphere. We ordered a cheese pizza and a margherita pizza. Both were PHENOMENAL and we'd highly recommend if you've got a craving. It taste better on a cold day! Great pizza joint in Stowe! Coming from NYC, I'm spoiled with great pizza, although sometimes it's a little too... gourmet, if you know what I mean. Unable to rate the food since we were denied entry. The restaurant only takes reservations if you are in a group of 8 or more. We made a reservation for 8, walked in at our designated time only to be told that they did NOT have our reservation. We showed a text message confirming our reservation but they did not care. We asked to speak to the manage to try to resolve the issue and it turned out it WAS the manager. He didn't care. Was rude and just walked out on us. read more

So glad we had a chance to try this place while visiting Stowe for a few days! It was jam-packed each time we drove by. We had to go to dinner at 4 one night in order to guarantee a table. Now we know why- the pizza is fantastic! It's commonly said that NJ and NY pizza is the best, but I've never had pizza like this before. We ate here last night with our family of 5. We ordered a variety of small pizzas. Four of them were okay, but I would stay far away from what they pass off as their "Margherita" pizza. It was just a crust spread with red sauce and a few square slices of cheese. No fresh basil (or even dried, for that matter) no garlic, no sliced tomato...nothing. The baking process dried out all that naked sauce with nothing else on it. It needed a drizzle of olive oil or something. It was pretty dry and tasteless, to the tune of 17 bucks. I just ate the cheese off the pizza because the rest was just not appealing. Additionally, we asked for a caesar salad with no croutons, for my daughter who has celiac disease. As a local, the pizza is definitely good. However, if you're trying to go here or pickup during Ski Season be prepared for an absolute mad house. Very normal for your pickup order to take 2+ hours (without an estimate). No open parking space due to a rotating line of 75 vehicles driving in circles in the parking lot to also pickup their orders. Customers getting in arguments in massive lines waiting for their pizza. Picking up here during ski season is a complete and utter nightmare. Avoid Presidents Day weekend AT ALL COSTS. It's definitely time for this place to expand because it's next to impossible to get in or order between January and March.
