I discovered Piefection at their pop up shop in Scottsdale at 90th and Via Linda. There are so few places to get homemade quality gourmet pies. I really hope the pop up shop will become a permanent location as Scottsdale really needs this! I bought a Strawberry Rhubard pielet and a Cheesecake pie. Both were delicious and unique! I would like to try more of their pies and really hope the pop up shop stays or a permanent location is a fixture in Scottsdale. I also hope that a Piefection will add glutenfree crusts as I am glutenfree and couldn't eat the crust. Please checkout Piefection for a delicious gourmet pies!! read more

This Boston Crème pie was so good! It was a Chocolate Boston Crème. Seriously was like eating Angel food cake smothered in a light cool delicious chocolate Ganache with more Angel food all hugged with creamy chocolate coating. Highly recommend! read more

We recently moved near this Mesa location and have gone about 8-10 times already and will continue to go even will after we move away from this location because they have some of the best customer service we've experienced anywhere, and the pies have always been fantastic. We've had the banana cream, chocolate, Arizona orange, Keylime, Boston, cream, German chocolate and have honestly loved them all. It's hard to decide which one to get every time we go in. It is always consistent and you know they put their heart into it. I honestly didn't even care for pie before coming to this place, but will always make room when this dessert is around. 10/10 recommend read more

Without a doubt one of the best pie shops anywhere around. The staff is ultra friendly and helpful with making suggestions. Its great they have single slices, mini pies (highly recommend), and full size pies. Lots of amazing flavors to choose from with great quality ingredients. Caramel Apple has been one of our faves with their house made caramel. Recently tried the Southern Pecan and it was truly one of the best pecan pies I have ever had. If you are looking for a pie to take to a special event, or if you just want to indulge yourself this is a great treat!!!! read more

WAS the best place for pie. Since the opening of their other locations the quality of Piefection Pies has gone downhill. This is what my family has tried over the past few months: The Chocolate Cream pie tasted burnt. The Apple Pie was sour. May have forgotten the sugar. The Mint Pie had a hair and some wax paper in the crust. The Chicken Pot Pie had about a cup of liquid in it and way toooo much pepper. The Quiche had a broken crust and the bottom of the PAN had something baked on the bottom. When I spoke to someone at Piefection about the amount of liquid in the chicken pot pie and was told "That's our gravy". I'm from the South and gravy isn't liquid, it's creamy!! After that I figured they aren't really interested in what their customers have to say. I'm done with Piefection. read more

Plenty of great looking pies available with seasonal pies too. This shop has any type of pie you would desire to have. You can order full pies to single slices. Great choices all around! Anytime I go to a pie shop, I want peach pie. To me that's some of the best pie you can get. We ended up getting three slices of pie which are peach, apple and banana cream. Of course I dug in to the peach pie first and was a bit disappointed. Im sure it's out of season for peaches but it just seemed like it was peaches from a can. Not really what I was looking for but still I got my fix for a peach pie. Next the banana cream pie was good but didn't seem like it had even banana taste to it. On top of it, there was a lack of crust on the bottom of the slice. Really strange to see that. Finally the apple pie was by far the best tasting one of them all. Good apples and good solid crust all around. Now we only tried three slices and they have plenty of other great looking pies which I will come back to try. This review is more based on the slices we got and we will update the review for other slices in the future read more

First want to say that the employee who helped me handled the sitiation professionally, but I don't understand why they are having trouble or are not trianed to use their gift cards when a customer wants to pay with them. Also ... Seems like they increased their prices for some whole pies and all slices. I asked the employee why slices were now $5/each, and she imied that their was a whole story behind it and could not tell me. Now, are the slices still worth it? Not really - they are pretty small and thin. Will continue to come when they have specials or for whole coconut cream pies, but for slices on a regular day? Not really. read more

$25 for a pie is a little steep, but they are good. The coconut cream was more cream than anything else, I don't think I'd get it again. We've had pumpkin pies from them before which were delicious! It's a bummer they're first come, first serve. The only way to reserve a pie in any way seems to be to order on DoorDash, which costs like $10 more per pie. They're closed on Sundays, so for my Sunday celebration I picked one up on Saturday when they first opened. They had lots of pies available. Overall I'd go back for a special pie but for a basic pie, Fry's is probably a lot cheaper and easier. read more

Love this place! Got the last minute idea to pickup some pies for Thursday and they did not disappoint. Despite my late arrival, they had plenty of choices available. Staff was super helpful and friendly even with a line out the door The beau loves the MI cherry, so that is always a must. Flavor is great - nice balance of sweet sour in a flaky crust. I wanted something different this year, so I chose The Boston Cream pie. I don't like chocolate, but the topping on this cake is tasty. The cake inside is balanced with a thin layer of vanilla custard - delicious. They have lots of sliced pies, which is what we usually choose from. With 2 whole pies, we didn't need slices. But we will be back! read more

First time here and they were super busy Saturday morning, so that was a good first impression. They have a wide array of flavors and decided to get a lemon merengue which the next day was pretty good, just felt like it needed to be a little more firm. Cookie butter is the other but haven't broken into that one yet, so can't review this one yet. It was quite expensive $25 per pie. Decent but not worth the price for these in my opinion. Too bad they don't to pre-paid and pick up. read more

We specialize in homemade gourmet pies in 70 different varieties that are made fresh in-house every day! We use only the finest ingredients around. We source our fruit from the state in which it is best known for, for example: Wild blueberries from Maine, Granny Smith apples from Washington, and Peaches from Georgia! We import our chocolate from Belgium and use only fresh whipped cream on all our cream pies. We only use butter in our crumb topped pies and make all our gravies for our savory pot pies from scratch.
