Sweet potato waffle fries and Pier 88 combo that has lobster tail and snow crab with 2 lb choices of seafood with hot Cajun seasoning
    Kathleen S.

They got us with their flavors. We ordered a side of sweet potato waffle fries and Pier 88 combo that has lobster tail and snow crab with 2 lb choices of seafood with hot Cajun seasoning. Spice level was perfect on what you thought hot would be. Then always ask for an extra side of garlic butter Service was quick as we went right before dinner rush and they did give us recommendations which we always like. Will be going again for our next seafood boil date. Just wish they had garlic noodles.

Came here with the family during a weekday. Not busy at all. We decided on sharing one of the family meals with king crab legs, mussels, and shrimp. The Cajun sauce was a bit salty. Not sure how the rest of the sauces are. The king crab legs were cooked perfectly. Not too much effort in breaking the shells. Our server was great and accommodating. I'd come back again!

Been wanting to check this place out for a while now and finally made it. Our server, Bernice, was fabulous! She took the time to explain everything and make suggestions, one being the temperature of the boil. This was extremely important as we were going to go with hot and she said it was way hot so we said "medium" and she then said that was on the hot side so we went with mild. So glad we did as that had enough heat for us! Everything was delicious and we had plenty to take home. Will definitely go back!

Our neighborhood favorite for Seafood Boil. Best deal 35.99$ for shrimp, snow crab, sausage, egg and potato. We go with 88 special sauce mild and it hits every time. I like to add broccoli to our boil bag and a side of sticky rice to pinch and dip into the juices. Service is great, we favorite our favorites. It's a casual family style vibe. Seating small or large groups. It can get busy in the weekends and wait times get up to 45 minutes.

Craving seafood so decided to try this place. I've heard mixed reviews when it first opened up but I figure I give it a try. For Saturday night dinner time it was bit busy and we got sat right away. Staff was friendly and restaurant was pretty clean. I know seafood price has gone up but man... So painfully expensive specially king crabs. $85 a lbs? Ordered the low country boil pier 88 spice and extra spicy. Ordered dozen oyster and lbs of crawfish. Oyster was pretty good for most part, I didn't care for the tobacco sauce style dipping sauce, I prefer cocktail sauce. Horseradish was actually pretty good and hot. Shrimp was cooked pretty good, crabs were little hard to eat and the meat didn't slide off like the way I like it. Seasoning was pretty good but the extra spicy was more medium heat level compared to some of the other place. Crawfish.. Well it's Crawfish. Over all food was not bad but for the price I left thinking man, not worth it. I definitely won't be coming back here.

The service is the only reason this place didn't get 5 stars. The food however was great. Since we were a bigger party of 6 (6 or more gratuity is added) I felt like they knew they were guaranteed a good tip so it lacked decent service. It was really slow there so there wasn't an excuse. But the king crab combo was really good. I'll come back again just for that or try the other location in Avondale.

I want to start off by saying I do NOT eat seafood or enjoy it but I do love their sauce mixed with different things. Seafood boil no seafood LOL. I absolutely love this place. I feel like compared to other seafood boil places, this one is priced reasonably. I usually get their 88 special with potatoes, corn, sausage, and some fries on the side. It's always so delicious. I've been here a couple times now and always recommend it to my friends and family. The food is always brought out very hot which makes it even better. The staff here are always very helpful and kind. I like how I can come here and not feel judged for not getting seafood. They also bring out a bucket that has everything you need and extras just in case. The place itself is more of a darker atmosphere but very clean!

I visited this place a friday afternoon. We were seated right away. the place was very clean and nicely decorated. the place was not busy at all so our server was helping us right away. We ordered the lunch special. 3/4 lbs of shrimp, Cajun fries, wings and 2 drinks. the food was delicious. The shrimp was very flavorful. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. At the end we paid around 45 which was not bad for all the food we had. Can't wait to go back!

This Riverview chain restaurant is a great place for seafood boils at a pretty darn good price. It definitely has the ocean vibe with giant crabs, fishnets, and sharks hanging from the ceiling (notice the sharks all have a fish in their mouths), and cool ocean themed murals. Our server was doubling as a bartender and was very busy, but she's still managed to be attentive. We ordered the shrimp and clams, both of which come in a bag with corn in the cob and potato. They are yummy! We also ordered fried calamari and fried catfish, which came with a choice of Cajun fries, sweet potato fries, or regular fries. We chose Cajun fries, and they were delish. I don't really care for fried fish, so I didn't try it. The food is pretty good, the atmosphere is well-themed, and the price is right. It's not fancy but when you are looking for a casual seafood place that doesn't have a long wait, this might be your spot!

My sister was craving seafood boil so we decided to check out Pier 88. We made it within 10 minutes of happy hour so we were able to get mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and some drinks off the menu. We ultimately opted for the sailors boil, and I got a half a pound of snow crab legs. It was entirely too much food, but it was really good. The spice on the medium is very spicy the size of the crab legs are huge! The forgot my egg but brought it out later. The sausage had great flavor! I would definitely return.

We've been wanting to try this place since we love seafood and we'll i wasn't impressed at all by the food or the cleanliness. We came in we didn't have to wait to be seated as soon as I sat down I noticed black hairs on the table and since my hairs blonde I knew it wasn't mine but our servers was no apology or would you like a different table? Nothing. So after getting past that health issue we ordered our beverages and food honestly the food was out way to fast the shrimp was seriously over cooked and the crab wasn't fresh by any means. The meal came with corn. Slices of sausage and an egg all too salty to eat and for what you're being charged for the meal to begin with we were super disappointed because half the meals went to waste. I can't recommend the food here just on the cooking alone.

Our first time at this location. We love Pier 88, we typically get it in Washington when visiting family and didn't know we had one near us!! We literally get it for takeout in Washington each visit. So happy to have found while in the area. Very delicious! Medium can be spicy so be prepared , the other ones can be even hotter. We really liked trying seasoned garlic butter sauce. Noely was very nice and attentive as a server! The restaurant has seafood decor and even had hints of Asian decor! Loved that! We will be back!!!

    Jessica M.

We turned into savages when the food came out. Get ALL the seasoning, you won't be disappointed. The 2 guys waiting the table were incredibly sweet! I got the jalepeno mango margarita, AMAZING. We will definitely be back.

Main dish, my favorite, was the Sauteed N'Awlins BBQ Shrimp. I've been getting this dish for years. This time, the shrimp seemed maybe a little overcooked, or something. The meat of the shrimp was becoming a little stringy, but they were still very tender. So, I still enjoyed it. This has always been our choice for a birthday meal, either mine or another family member's. We NEVER tell the staff because we don't want an embarrassing fuss. This year, I had read online that they don't do singing here. So, I mentioned it was my birthday, and I got a free Butter Cake for dessert--another old favorite. Service was top-notch, as always.

TUNA MELT- it's refreshing to have a tuna sandwich that is not canned tuna. There is a chimichiri sauce that you can get to drizzle on it that really gives a depth of flavor. The bread was a nice sourdough that was not just a cheap white bread and did not get soggy. However, with my sandwich, the bread was burnt so that bitterness ruined the flavor of the delicate fish. My pictures shows a few burnt spots, but on the bottom side was way more burnt and it was like they put the most burnt side on the bottom to hide it and hope I didn't notice. I did not appreciate this. CLAM CHOWDER- creamy and more on the fluid consistency, being made with fresh clams makes the difference. Not the best chowder i've had, but was pretty decent. The fish variety can vary with seasons, but it is nice to get different choices throughout the year.
