I got a labret and two ear lobe piercings the other day and I can't imagine how my experience could have been better. The whole place feels accepting as soon as you open the door. I didn't get the name of the woman on reception at the time but she was super friendly and made me feel very welcome straight away. The studio is comfortable and spotlessly clean and doesn't feel at all intimidating. My piercing was done by Paulus and his experience, skill and practical attitude made the whole thing really enjoyable. I'm so glad I came here and I can't wait to be back... Much better now they have had a change of staff, I went here in 2012ish when they first opened up. My piercer (female by the name of Dan, I believe) had cigarette breath and was just breathing all over me, plus I could smell it all over her clothes, was very unprofessional considering it's supposed to be a clean, sterile environment. It put me off coming back for a long time. I went back again more recently and was pierced by Leanne, was a much better experience. As for the piercings, my first piercing with Dan was a daith that was pierced too shallow and had to be re-pierced eventually, and the most recent one was my conch and it's healed up really nicely. sorry for the long review: I had a list of several piercing places in Melbourne. Some had the price and material on their website, others didnt, so i made some calls. P HQ had a lot of good ratings and the women on the phone was super nice and took the time to explain me the prices without urging me into something so I decided I would grab the next tram and get my piercing done. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was chill and made me feel like a friendly cousin, but they were very proffessional. I got Kai as a piercer and I felt super safe and he was funny and also explained everything he did so I felt involved and not like some experiment sitting on that creepy chair thing. The piercing itself hurt a bit like getting vaccinated but it was fine and Kai kept me entertained. In the end it looked super good and I was happy. The piercing process costed $30 and I took a better ring for $50- "Torqueee" (usually $30) They have titanium and Gold (also in rose). Some Days are discount days. You get some salt stuff for after treatment. I give 5 stars because everything was great and I will go there again if I want to get something else done. Thanks folks! read more

Had my nose pierced there today. Lovely staff and clean, nice place. Asked for the small ring and had it all measured up, then pierced my nose and put in the big ring. When I said I asked for the small I was told it wouldn't suit me. I know what I wanted and didn't get it. It's on my face now and it's either live with it or go through the pain to get it changed or repierced to and how I asked originally. For $80 and something I see every time I look in a mirror I wanted to be happy but disappointed. Why ask me for what I want and give me something different? Only went because it's close. Not going back for anything else. Basically I didn't get what I asked for. Which I think is a big deal in anywhere that does this type of work. Anyone that goes here please make sure you tell all staff members what you want so no confusion. read more

The piercing itself went smooth but I got a nose piercing here and they pierced it with a ring which I recently found out is terrible for your piercing. Had to get a stud put in it 4 months later because I had developed a massive bump on my nose because the steel was ripping through my nose cartilage. read more

Absolutely incredible experience. Relatively painless septum piercing, free hand, and trouble free. Hurt less than a normal injection. ALL the staff are absolutely professional and have a kind and calm energy. Very patient and informative and understand you might be feeling nervous. In their hands, you won't be! The clinic is hospital grade sterile, yet has a great piercing/bodymod culture vibe. You feel apart of it when you're there yet you feel like you're in a medical surgery also. Wouldn't go anywhere else and would travel to Melbourne just to come here to get pierced. read more
