So many items I wanted to buy, and if I lived there it would definitely be one of my favorite spots. They carry a lot of hip, modern gifts and gadgets-for all ages. I had meant to leave work in good time to go shopping, but that didn't happen either. Unlike the US, most stores and malls close by around 6pm and it was after that when I left work. However luckily, Schiphol airport is on my way back home and it's mall is open later, so voila! Luckily Problem solved! I must say this shop has a wonderfully quirky but very well curated selection of stuff in the store and it caters for a variety of ages / so stuff for kids as well as grown-ups! There's a variety and tons of local Amsterdam gifts too - from local artist to Dutch chocolates. And I got Free gift wrapping as it's Christmas time! (Woot! Score!) So If you are like me and a slacker about your Christmas shopping and stuck at the airport and need some gifts, then this store (while definitely more expensive than outside shops), can really come to your rescue! I will definitely make sure to stop back in here again when I am looking for nice gifts to hand out. They have a range of decorations for your house or plants. You will find plenty of colorful artwork, frames,mirrors, statues, candle holders, vases, plants and etc.

Last week I finally checked off a few places that had been on my to-do list, including this gift…read moreshop. Wow, I was seriously impressed. They have really, really beautiful stuff - lots of plants, pots, etc. but also things for the wall, some candles, a little jewelry and some small knick knack type things. It's not cheap but you can buy something really beautiful, really unique, either for your home or for someone else. The lady working in the shop offered to help me which was much nicer than being ignored, which unfortunately happens in many Amsterdam shops. It took me 2+ years to finally come here but hopefully the next visit is sooner than that!
