This butcher was recommended to me for the first time during Thanksgiving as a place to pre-order…read moremy Turkey. We ordered it the week before to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving. The Turkey was the freshest Turkey I have ever bought. No pre- wrapped plastic shopping market Turkey's like the typical Safeway Turkey of the US. This was the real thing. I have been here since and the service is always friendly, and they have some fantastic pre-made salads, I love their lentil salad. There always seems to be two gentleman working in this shop, one older and one younger. The younger guy is able to speak English, which was very helpful when ordering our first Turkey.

I can't even tell you what we had- pâtés, terrines, sliced meats, cheeses, cold casseroles... my goodness. We spent well over $50 in preparation for an hour long train ride "picnic". It was so, so worth it. The ladies who run the shop are quite friendly and at least a couple of them speak English. But if all else fails, pointing works. Not to be missed! Seriously...
