Pierre was simply amazing. We were lucky enough to have him for our wedding in Paris (we are Sydney based). Our photos turned out simply breathtaking. On top of that, he was a delight to work with. He has a fabulous eye for detail, directed us to get the shots we wanted and knew all the places around Paris to get the perfect image. He has captured our special day with love and attention to the dinner details and our only issue now is selecting our favourites from the end results. There are so many amazing ones. I would highly recommend him to capture your special day. I can't imagine a better photographer to do so.
Pierre is amazing. We had a dream of getting married in Paris and after finding Pierre's photos, we were sold! He was a pleasure to work with and made the whole experience so easy (including having to make adjustments because of rain!) Our photographs turned out absolutely beautiful and lived up to my most glamorous dreams of wedding photos in Paris. He was incredibly helpful in managing logistics and made our photoshoot so much fun! I would HIGHLY recommend him for any photography needs when you are in Paris!
We found Pierre looking through the pictures on our officiant's website. Loved the pictures and wanted something similar for our vow renewal ceremony in Paris on our 10th wedding anniversary. (Although we had to postpone for a year due to covid). Pierre was very detailed, attentive, friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm so glad he was there to direct us (especially my husband :)) when posing. He not only suggested great spots for pictures but made it so much easier on us by booking a van and coordinating with the driver. Got one thing off of our list so we didn't have to worry about that. I have known Pierre for some 8 years now. He did a photo session for me in Paris early in his carrier. I loved his work instantly and knew that he would be my photographer any time I'd go to Paris. Fast forward 8 years and I am planning my dream wedding in Italy! I reached out to Pierre to see if he would be willing to travel and capture our special day. He said YES! I was beyond excited and before you knew it, we were in Italy. As always, he was professional, fun, punctual, and so great to work with. During our shoots he made it seamless and fun. The results of the photos is impecable! Go see for yourself. I am so glad we asked him to come to Italy with us. His work is not only of high quality but it is creative, artistic, unique. Unfortunately, my review is way overdue, I don't know how I forgot to review him, he is simply the best.Two years ago, my husband and I renewed our vows in Paris and Pierre took our pictures. He is easy going, friendly, kind and did everything from climbing to laying on the floor to make sure he had the perfect shot. We had never done professional pictures as a family so we were unsure what to do. He gave us direction and our pictures look so natural. We are going back to Paris in October and my family all asked if we could have him take pictures again. I have had SO many friends and family ask who did our pictures because he did such an amazing job. Two years later, I still haven't changed my profile picture!
A photoshoot with Pierre was by far the BEST thing we did for our wedding!! My fiancé and I live in Austin, Texas and were planning a vacation to Paris. We thought about eloping in Paris but decided at a minimum to do our engagement photos in the city of lights and love. I did extensive research on Parisian photographers and Pierre fit our vision and style. His pricing was higher than other photographers but we really value artistic talent and he was absolutely worth it! He was so professional, communicative throughout the process and gave great direction on how to pose (which really helped my fiancé). Pierre was just an absolute pleasure to work with and his English is perfect (an FYI for anyone who doesn't speak French). We are beyond happy with our gallery and the photos look like they are Vogue worthy. We booked a 2 hour shoot and a van to transport us from the Eiffel Tower to Pont des Arts and we walked to the Seine, a cafe and had some shots with a quintessential Parisian background. We'll have these photos to cherish for many years. Highly recommend!!
If you decide to visit Paris you HAVE to book a photography session to commemorate such an iconic city. Pierre happens to be the BEST at helping you capture your visit! Pierre was FANTASTIC our photos are fabulous! We couldn't be happier with the service he spent so much time with us and really captured our elopement as we had pictured it! We did a split session of photos in Versailles and then the next day photos in Paris all of it was splendid :) we received our pictures quickly afterwards and they were edited and curated very nice. He helped with recommendations for a private car service which was totally worth it in Paris for getting all the locations in we wanted to shoot at in a quick timeframe. Overall lovely experience and we look forward to shooting anniversary pictures with him again someday :) highly highly recommend!
Pierre was absolutely wonderful to work with for our summer wedding here in Paris. He had fantastic energy and was very accommodating throughout the entire process. He responded promptly and clearly with every single email we sent back and forth while I was in California, and he is friendly while also very professional. I'm not even sure where to begin...Pierre was fantastic from the moment I reached out to him via email. He was recommended to me by a coworker - his friend had used him and he remembered thinking his pictures were amazing. So I looked him up, scrolled through his portfolio, and loved his work. Reached out and got back to me the next day. From the very beginning Pierre was very personable and professional. I told him the type of pictures I was aiming to have, and he came back with recommendations on places, wardrobe, and timelines. We communicated back and forth via email for awhile and finally settled on a course of action. At that point it was still a couple months before our shoot and I couldn't wait until the day came. About a week before the shoot, Pierre reached out to confirm everything. I had sent a Pinterest board of the types of pictures/places/poses I wanted to Pierre, and he was very diligent about making sure we got everything we wanted. The day before our shoot, he even made a suggestion on a change of location because I had mentioned to him I wanted cherry blossoms if they were available. They weren't, but something close to it had bloomed because of all the rain, so we switched locations, and I am so glad we did! The morning of our shoot: Pierre was just as personable as I thought. He instantly made us feel at ease. My fiance and I were worried about us looking too awkward during the shoot, but Pierre made it so easy. Rather than pose us for every picture, he gave us direction on how to look most comfortable and casual, even joking with us along the way. He made it less awkward and more fun. You can tell how passionate Pierre is about his work, and the pride he takes in it through his professionalism and photos. We got our photos back 4 weeks later, as promised, and I couldn't be any happier. Would recommend Pierre in a heartbeat, and hopefully be able to work with him again some day. He's the best!

WOW! Those were the first words I uttered when I received my "sneak peek" photos and then when I received the final package. It is the same that my friends, family, and co-workers said as well. Pierre is an amazing photographer. From my first inquiry in May to the photo shoot in December, Pierre always responded quickly and was so friendly. When it came to the actual photo shoot, I felt like I already knew him. This helped quell the butterflies in my stomach (having my photos taken is quite out-of-the-box for me). Soon I forgot about everything and was just in the moment. He made this middle-age, self-conscious woman feel like a super model. If you are considering having a photo shoot done in Paris for whatever reason (mine was just for fun vacation photos) - do it - and book Pierre. You will always remember the wonderful experience of the photo shoot itself AND have beautiful photos!
It's hard to find enough positive words to talk about the photos Pierre took for our trip to Paris in September 2016. He is simply amazing! We had asked Pierre to do something a little different for us, and our shoot and absolutely nailed it. They were so great, in fact, that our friends and family kept saying we looked like we should be models! Pierre listened to our thoughts and added in his extraordinary creativity and gave us the exact photos we were looking for and even exceeded any sort of expectations we had. We decided to have professional photos taken during this romantic trip to Paris because when traveling with two, it's hard to get great photos of the two of you, and I just didn't want to be running all over Paris worrying about trying to get the perfect picture. We left that to Pierre when we booked our photo session and now we have the most incredible photos to share our trip and the best souvenir I could have ever imagined. Pierre was so patient with us as he posed us for each shot, which in the photos don't look posed at all! He took the time to look into different areas for us that were very artsy but still Parisian. He got the finished photos to us extremely quickly and we had over 80 photos from our shoot! I can't even pick one to frame as they are all stunning! Definitely book a photo session with Pierre! You will not be disappointed!
The best photographer we can ever ask for! We discovered Pierre through Instagram and were instantly drawn to his photography. It was exactly what we were looking for from the use of lighting, overall composition, and romantic style. There was no question that we wanted Pierre to do a photo shoot for us in Paris. Pierre was very communicative from the beginning and took into consideration what we were looking to do from location to outfit change. I had shown him some pictures and places I wanted to shoot at and he seamlessly created a timeline. When we first met him in person, he made us feel very comfortable and guided us through the different poses. He was very detail-oriented. He would let us know how to adjust our heads, relax the shoulders, and hand placement, and even adjusted my dress. He made us feel at ease and the session turned into fun. The biggest surprise was that he and my now fiance had set up a proposal for me along the River Seine. I could not have asked for a more perfect proposal with an incredible photographer. He and my fiance had been coordinating everything from hiding/holding the ring to even having a secret code phrase. He captured every moment for us and I cry still looking back at the photos. You can tell how passionate Pierre was about his work and it shows through the photos. read more

I simply can't say enough about Pierre Torset's photography for our elopement in Paris. My husband and I have a big height difference, but Pierre rose to the challenge like a pro so that we could have photos like never before. Whenever we have a friend take a photo, it's pretty badly composed. But now we have over 150 photos that we love. We did the 5 hour package and started at 6am with only a few hours of sleep. The long session went by fast. We were very comfortable with Pierre and it never felt tiring. He took us to so many locations, some of which did not work out as planned due to the drizzly weather...however he worked really hard with what we had in the time we had to work with. It was also nice to see sights we otherwise wouldn't have found on our own. The session was quite fun for us, and one of our best memories from the trip. Pierre is also great at communication and will answer your questions promptly by email. He gave great tips on how we could pose better. His rates are very reasonable, although I can't say we shopped around - we knew he was the one for us. His work says it all. And his personality is as great as his portfolio. We are so happy with the collection, we would book Pierre again - or recommend him - without hesitation. read more

I recently got engaged and booked Pierre for an engagement session. The experience was wonderful. He made us feel comfortable and at ease. My fiancée does not like taking pictures at all but he said Pierre made him feel as good as anyone could have! And the pictures! We love them! So worth the money and the experience. We posted a few photos online and have gotten a million compliments from family and friends. There are a few pictures that look like paintings and I can't wait to print them out and hang them around the house. Thanks Pierre and I wish I could fly you to San Francisco for our wedding. read more

"Amazing!" -- the universal one-word exclamation from everyone who sees the photographs Pierre shot of us in Paris. Amazing also describes the experience we had in working with him. Pierre was prompt in returning our emails, detailed in his descriptions of what he offered and the directions he provided for when/where to meet him on the big day. He made us feel relaxed and at ease in the 90 minutes he spend taking our engagement shots. We absolutely love the photos he took of us. As a gay couple, we're always a little unsure when reaching out to prospective partners - never knowing how they might receive us. It was a true pleasure working with Pierre. It's clear that he is a fan of all love and his photos prove it! read more

We hired Pierre to help us build a lasting memory for our first trip to Paris. We chose Pierre because of all the terrific reviews posted online. He was very responsive via email. He lived up to all the hype. Because of some rainy weather predictions we rescheduled our photo shoot three times. Pierre was extremely flexible and accommodating. He wanted the conditions to be perfect just as much as we did! The weather finally cooperated. Pierre had suggested we meet at the Bir Hakeim bridge. What a great location at the feet of the Tour Eiffel! The photo session itself was fantastic. Pierre made it lots of fun with his suggestions for different poses. He uses multiple lenses and cameras to create the perfect shots. We also feel Pierre's prices are extremely reasonable. Shortly after we left Paris the heavy rains and flooding began. We thought that our photos would be delayed since everyone in the city had many other things on their minds. However, Pierre emailed us a simple/secure link to our photo library less than three weeks after our photo shoot! And the pictures are amazing! Pierre also suggested a hair/makeup artist for me prior to our photo shoot. "Moon" was as responsive and flexible as Pierre (due to our weather issues) and I was extremely pleased (so was my husband) with her work. Whether you are travelling to Paris for a memorable vacation, a special occasion, or are a local Parisian we highly recommend a photo session with Pierre. read more

We booked Pierre in March to take our honeymoon pictures. He's the best! It's scary booking a random person from the internet and another country you have yet to visit, but Pierre was so helpful and kind from beginning and all the way through. I did my research, and I definitely have no regrets going with Pierre! During the photo shoot session he makes you feel at ease because he's outgoing, so even the awkward poses (if you're not a model professionally) were fun to do! It's been a little over 6 months and we are still in love with the pictures he's taken for us! Thank you again, Pierre!! read more
Where do I even start with this...Pierre was far beyond anything we could have hoped for when we started to plan our elopement! He was extremely helpful in providing information on where to shoot, the times that would work best, where to rent a classic car, etc. And on our big day we were even more impressed! We went to Paris this summer to celebrate my daughter's 15th Birthday . I found Pierre in google search and based on the reviews I emailed him to coordinate my daughter's Birthday pictures. This was going to be our first time in Paris . I was impressed on how he made everything so easy for us and kept us informed at all times. He is an amazing person and photographer . He even referred us to a make up and hair stylist (Moon) which she was awesome as well. He is easy to work with, punctual and very creative. Je suis amoureux! Pierre is officially hands down, my favorite photographer, ever! If you're traveling to Paris for any reason (family vacation, engagement, wedding, work, etc) I HIGHLY recommend booking him and capturing incredible moments that you can keep forever. My husband, 1.5 year old son and I recently traveled to Paris for a mini one week vacation. I decided that while we were there, we should have professional photos taken given it was our son's first time traveling internationally and I want to be able to share the amazing memories with him when he's older. Also, we are expecting our second child. I thought it would be special to have early maternity photos taken in one of the most gorgeous cities in the world and use them as our announcements that we are expecting. Pierre was incredibly helpful, prompt in responding and communicative from the very start. He was clear as to what his pricing was, what you were getting, his expectations and the way the whole process would work from start to finish. Pierre through conversation determined what we were looking for in our photos and he made recommendations that he felt would best suit our needs. And boy was he right, not only did the photos meet our expectations, they completely surpassed our expectations! *MINDS BLOWN!* =) He was also incredible with our son, he knew exactly what to do to get the attention of an 18 month old and capture amazing shots. I'm absolutely in love with our photos, they are without a doubt the most incredible and stunning photos we've had taken as a family (and that's a lot). The backdrop of Paris is breathtaking and he captured it in all it's wonderful glory. My fiance' and I were traveling to Paris during spring earlier this year and we were researching for a professional photographer to capture our engagement photos in one of the most romantic cities of the world. It was during our research, we discovered Pierre through online social media platforms such as Instagram and his online portfolio and decided to reach out. Upon the initial conversation up to the actual photography shoot, he was absolutely accommodating, friendly, and professional to work with. The detail of his packaging was so straightforward, it left no margin room for questions or error- which was great since we were not familiar with how the process would work overseas. Pierre helped us through the entire process and was quick to communicate with us despite the time difference. His packaging and pricing was unbeatable; it was based on the number of hours and locations we preferred. We decided to go with three location and about 2-3 hours. When it came to the day of the photoshoot, Pierre worked with us on several angles and suggested how we could position our bodies for the best shoot. He even arranged for an Uber van so I could change into my three different outfits. After our photoshoot, Pierre's delivery of the photos were on time just as he had promised and we loved it! We are so lucky to have found Pierre for our engagement session while visiting beautiful Paris. From the initial contact, Pierre was super friendly, very easy to work with, and he spoke perfect English! He provided various options to fit our taste and budget. We had booked him months ahead of our visit and Pierre made sure to keep us informed of updates and directions for the day of. My fiancé and I have never done a professional shoot before and we were worried that we'd look awkward in the pictures. We really appreciated Pierre's detailed direction on poses and the pictures came out so natural! Pierre is so funny and easy going which made the entire session so enjoyable. A little late with my review but better late than never right? Let me start out by saying what a great experience it was to have Pierre as our photographer. My fiance and I took a trip to Paris recently back in May and we wanted to do our engagement photo shoot while in Paris. So I did some research and came across Pierre. Immediately, I was captivated by his style of photography through his portfolio and my fiance liked his work as well. We contacted Pierre for pricing and he responded back very quickly. He was very easy to keep in touch with through out the process and he was very detailed about giving us information regarding his services, where to meet and what to bring on the day off, and answered any question we had. He speaks perfect English by the way. When we met Pierre on the day of our photoshoot, he was super easy and fun to work with. He made us felt very comfortable during our photoshoot with his jokes and fun attitude. My fiance and I are not good with posing for pictures at all and Pierre was able to guide us on how to pose without feeling awkward. He was very attentive to any request we had. We decided to do an outfit change during the session and he was able to help accommodate that very quickly. To our surprise, we got our pictures back within about 3 weeks. We were thrilled to see our photos. All of our photos turned out amazing and we love every single one of them. Our family and friends also love the pictures as well and got lots of compliments. Pierre really exceeded our expectation and captured every moment perfectly. Thank you Pierre for making our Paris experience a memorable one. Where to even start... Pierre is absolutely amazing!! The whole experience from start to finish was completely first class and amazing. He passion, vision, and experience is flawless and true first class service. We had such a great time and we aren't morning people so waking up early was daunting but totally worth it!! And then we get the results and they are totally more than we could ever have expected or hoped so. We can't choose our favorites and that is the perfect problem to have!! Where to begin? Pierre is beyond incredible and far exceeded our expectations in every way. His professionalism and quality of work are out of this world; and to top it off he is funny, sweet and makes you immediately feel like you've known him for years. Pierre went out of his way to make sure that our elopement went off without a hitch. We started off by skyping with him to provide additional details on everything from how we met to what we envisioned for our wedding day in beautiful Paris. Pierre followed that up with an e-mail of recommended locations for our stay in Paris. He also provided recommendations for florists and a hair and makeup artist. We blindly trusted his recommendations and couldn't be more thrilled with the result. They were both absolutely amazing! Pierre proceeded to design the perfect order for us to take our pictures throughout the day and capitalize on avoiding crowds while obtaining the best light. It was fantastic and our pictures are a clear reflection of Pierre's time invested to planning and skill level. We've repeatedly been told by family and friends that our pictures belong in a magazine. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Pierre, he was a massive part of our elopement and we wouldn't have it any other way. Amazing amazing amazing amazing!!!!! We visited Paris for my 30th birthday! I have a hair salon that is themed after Paris with even an eiffel tower in my logo so of course I needed a photographer to capture my sister, cousin and I in front of the Eiffel Tower and I knew they would come out good but man I did not expect them to come out as amazing as they did! Pierre knows that Eiffel Tower inside and out! Our shots are perfect!! I would highly recommend anyone visiting Paris to invest in a photos hoot and capture the memories that can last a lifetime!
