I've tried a few studios in Bonita Springs and have chosen the Pilates Plus as my home while in Florida. Tammy, Traci and Melanie are seasoned professionals who properly assess and train ensuring you're doing movements correctly and without injury. I enjoy the variety of activity on the reformer, with springs, without, the full body workout experience. I recommend having a few private lessons if you are a beginner so you are familiar with the moves and vocabulary and can keep up. The pace could be challenging without knowing the basics. read more

I've only been here once for a Pilates mat class but it was an amazing workout. The 50 minutes flew by and I felt really stretched afterward. I'm definitely going back. And the best part is they actually offer an after-work 5:30 class. The instructor I had was a former ballerina and has been teaching Pilates longer than I've been alive. I really enjoyed taking classes here while I was in town for the holidays. I took a private session with Lacie who is super personable and knowledgeable--her specific corrections were extremely helpful to ensure I was doing each exercise, and I also really enjoyed the group classes. My wife purchased a package of 3 private introductory Pilate session & 5 group classes. After 2nd session with Tammy, salon owner, her back pain became severe. Her doctor said to stop. When she called Tammy she could not complete a sentence without being interrupted by an avalanche of words. She simply would not pay any attention to her telling her that she just needed more private sessions. She suggested that she should try marijuana for the pain. When I called I quickly experienced the not stop talking. I asked for a prorated refund to be told that the $190. package was non refundable. That, of course, was never mentioned in the sales pitch. 5 stars without question coming from a long-time practitioner of Pilates. This is my 2nd year in SW Florida (in the season) and at Pilates Plus. Tammy, the owner, and Traci, her daughter, are knowledgeable and expert in their teaching, cueing, correcting your form both in group and private classes. This studio - in group classes - use a variety of equipment -- reformer, arc, roller, chair, bar, tower -- to achieve their class goals. That means you do not have to take a private to use this equipment like many other studios that offer "mat" or "reformer" classes and privates to use the other equipment. This is a great value. Traci is my go-to instructor. She astounds me with her ability to assess, identify and specify exercise movements to address whatever your body concern. And she's right. Most impressive is the questioning of each class member as to how their body is doing prior to the start of class and then the ability to incorporate that information into the class with attention and modifications so you don't aggravate or hurt yourself any further. Christina, the receptionist, is friendly, helpful and welcoming. This studio has a loyal following of students who attend when in the area. read more

I really enjoy taking class at Pilates Plus. I'm only in Southern Florida for a few weeks a few times a year but wanted to maintain my pilates practice. Every instructor I had was fabulous! Traci, Kim, and Diane were great pilates instructors that gave excellent cueing and guidance to get the most out of each lesson. Tammy gave a wonderful barre class that had my butt hurting for days. Definitely recommend and will be coming back the next time I'm in town. read more

I love Pilates Plus! I found them about four months ago and the instructors and classes have been a Godsend. I've been taking the equipment classes and am hooked...the education about form and movement from the instructors have changed the way I walk and bike and breath....steadily strengthening my body without injury, and the stress release i feel after working out made me realize how nice it was to truly feel relaxed and strong. We have a good time together...as each person walks through their doors there is sincere interest in how they are doing...like family...it's really nice to find that! read more
