Do you want to taste the famous "Turkish yogurt"? While you're enjoying passing ships and boats on the Bosphorus, the views of the European shores of the city, and watching seagulls, now add lots of powder sugar that comes along into the yogurt, mix it and eat it. If you're short of powder sugar as you eat & come to the bottom of the yogurt, pour some more sugar in it. And finally at the end you sip your Turkish tea. That's the joy of life :)
You can reach Kanlica by regular ferries from Besiktas and Eminonu, but check the schedules on Sehir Hatlari's website. Or you can go to Uskudar neighborhood by subway or ferry and then take public busses passing from Kanlica (check their route, ask the driver if you can't figure it out). Alternatively there are fishing boats running between Emirgan on the European shore to Kanlica, so you can get to Emirgan first with a public bus from Taksim or Eminonu or Kabatsa, and then take these fishing boats from the shore. Just wait next to the pier, in about 5-10 minutes there will be a fishing boat so you can pay him 5 Liras per person and he'll take you (and other passengers) to Kanlica pier.
Have fun with this tasty Kanlica Yogurt...
