How can you not give five stars for God?…read more We came here for the 10:30am Sunday Mass, and the church was pretty full. Organ/Choir loft upstairs and today we only had a cantor probably because of Summer break. Father and Deacon Mike celebrated Mass today, and interestingly enough Father said he was married. Sometimes I wish the Church would open the Priesthood to more like him. The Church is beautiful inside in a Gothic style mostly white and lots of nice stained glass. It is a part of the St. Paul the Apostle Parish, which consists of St. Gabriel's Church in Winterport, St. Joseph's Church in Brewer, St. Mary's Church in Bangor, St. Matthew's Church in Hampden, and St. Teresa's Church in Brewer. Look in my photos for Mass times and addresses. Mass lasted about an hour, and was delightful. All were very friendly.

Pastor…read moreMark just finished a series of sermons called "No Perfect People Allowed" Kinda makes it all inclusive because we've all messed up at some point. There are lots of new people so if you just want to stop in and give us a try you won't stick out because you're new. Music is pretty decent, mostly contemporary Christian with a few hymns now and then. Words are projected on TVs so you can sing along with new songs. Band & worship team are loud enough to cover up the rest of our mediocre voices. Dress is pretty informal, you'll find the pastor and most of us in jeans more often than in a tie but some folks dress up too.
