Our game was the pirate themed Depths of Osiris (check out the preview vids on YouTube), and it was perfect for a team of an adult and two ten year olds. My boys had no trouble getting used to the VR gear they had to wear for the experience (a headset and two hand controllers - it was their first time). We had to cooperate to solve each room's puzzle to unlock a new room. Eventually, we got to the final scenario which was exciting and really required us to collaborate. The puzzles were well constructed and mostly understandable from a logic perspective. The graphics and sound were pretty decent (it's not super-high res like Cyberpunk) and matched the gameplay perfectly. We got some timely tips from the game master too, and cleared the puzzle with about a minute left on our 45 minute timer. The facilities are super clean and well maintained. They also have snacks and drinks which are nice to make the visit special for younger kids. My sons want to come back, and I do too. I also heard they are adding a physical escape room, so definitely something to look forward to.

Though more importantly to me, it is a welcoming community of friendly and down to earth people. Our family has made many good friends at CBT over the years. When we were "temple shopping" the friendly manner and helpfulness we encountered from the front office was an immediate plus. Adding to that, the Cantor has a beautiful voice, the Religious School Director is full of positive energy and the Rabbi always greets you with a smile (and usually by name). Though we have friends at several local synagogues, CBT feels like home to us.

I had high hopes and wish I could've liked this place as again it is very cute but the lack of creativity and effort put into our party has left such a bad taste in my mouth probably best to stick to the free play!

For the venue space, there is one restroom and they provide a changing table which is PERFECT for our event. They arranged for bartender service and also helped cleanup and keeping the event tidy with making sure trash cans were managed, dirty glassware was constantly picked up, and venue amenities were running smoothly (music, lighting, fans, clean up). We utilized the parking in the back but it is metered so you have to keep an eye on the meter. However, it was extremely convenient to have for loading and unloading. They will be my go-to venue space going forward.

They really allowed us to bring in a lot of our own decorations, food, etc. They worked with us on setup and check in with us multiple times ahead of the event to make sure we had everything we needed. They offer food and beverage options, rentals for dinnerware and tables, etc., if you don't want to bring your own. There's lot of street parking and a garage nearby for your guests. There's an alley in the back that makes setup and cleanup really easy. Gather is such a hidden gem and I can't recommend them enough if you need a spot for an event.

It was one of the best decisions we made during planning! We worked with Christine Nguyen starting ~2 months in advance of the wedding. She met with us weekly to lock in our details (most notably, a super tight and clear timeline). We had everything so well planned (thanks to Christine) that our last few months leading up to the wedding were waaaay more relaxed than we would have anticipated. On the day of, Christine and her assistant Jane were on top of everything! I don't think I batted an eyelash the whole day because they were hustling so hard behind the scenes to make everything feel totally smooth for us. On tope of the incredible execution, it's worth noting that we felt Christine's genuine excitement for us all throughout the process. I was treated unfairly makes me wonder was it my skin color…read more I am requesting assistance regarding my stay at Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa from June 26-29, 2026. I reserved and prepaid $977.28 through the AAA Travel website for a Premium Two King Beds room. My confirmation clearly states that I purchased a Premium Two King Beds room. Before traveling, I also called the hotel directly to verify my reservation, and I was assured everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room type was no longer available. Instead of the two king beds I had reserved and paid for, I was given a room with only one king bed and a rollaway bed. I was traveling with my elderly mother and my adult daughter. Because the rollaway bed was not suitable for my daughter, my mother had to sleep on the rollaway bed for our three-night stay. This was not the room I purchased, and it significantly affected our comfort during our trip. I immediately asked whether another room was available or whether the hotel could provide a discount or other accommodation. I was told the hotel was sold out and that nothing could be done. The staff was not empathetic and repeatedly stated that because I had booked through a third party, there was nothing they could do. After returning home, I contacted the hotel again. During that conversation, I was told that I had been "bumped" because I booked through a third party and that had I booked directly through the hotel, they would have honored my reservation. I find this unacceptable. My reservation was confirmed, paid in full, and verified directly with the hotel before my arrival. Guests should not receive inferior accommodations simply because they booked through an authorized travel partner such as AAA. I respectfully request: * A partial refund for failing to provide the room category I paid for. * A written explanation as to why my confirmed reservation was not honored. * An explanation of the hotel's policy regarding confirmed reservations made through AAA and other authorized travel agencies. I have already opened a case with AAA Travel and hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.
