My previous experiences with hardware stores has been ACE, Home Depot and Lowe's and quite honestly the size of this store dwarfs all those other stores. Just the lighting section alone is at least twice the size of any Home Depot or Lowe's I have ever been to. Moreover, there is a wider selection of items at a Menar's that just lighting, hardware, lumber, and gardening items. Like in larger hardware stores, you will find a major appliances section. What I never expected to find was a grocery section in a hardware store! It's just huge, each time I have been to Menard's I have discovered a new section of the store I have never been to selling more stuff. Just take a look at the pictures I took to get an idea of what they have. The service is also very good. I was looking for some pegboard hooks and other attachments for the pegboards i had in my garage. After wandering the store for so long I needed a guide. One of the employees told me what aisle they were in and then physically walked me there. Super helpful! Since then I have come here several times to buy things I needed for the house. Definitely glad I took the advice of a handyman I hired and gave this place a try!

She refused to use logic to read the birthday and see with her eyes that Emily was in fact 21. She claimed the ID wasn't "current". I have been a long‑time customer, and I have never experienced anything as disrespectful, hostile, or unprofessional as what took place during this visit. I attempted to purchase a pack of pretzels that was displayed for $4.00, but it scanned at $6.99. I informed the clerk, Matt Munier, who went to check the price. He confirmed that the sign showed $4.00 but stated it was "in the wrong location" and refused to honor the displayed price. When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed he was the manager and walked away. Another clerk, Helen Robinson‑Godsey, approached and asked if I needed assistance. As I explained the situation, Matt walked by and loudly stated that I "must have been drinking," which is completely false and inappropriate. Helen then called the Assistant Store Manager, Lydia Tenwalde, who corrected the issue and honored the displayed price. As I was leaving, Matt stepped away from his register and began yelling multiple derogatory names at me, including calling me several types of "bitches" in front of other customers. He then escalated the situation further by saying, "When I become manager, you Black bitch, you'll be the first one not allowed back in this store." This was racially charged harassment, verbal abuse, and a direct threat of discrimination. Other customers witnessed the incident and were visibly upset by his behavior.
