We briefly discussed the only RAV4 in stock in the trim level I wanted. Everything moved very quickly after the call. Amanda was straightforward and the deal was simple and easy to understand. Amanda paid attention to details of our conversations. I did not have to repeat myself or haggle about a single issue. When I told Amanda the tax on the offer was $100 too much, I got zero attitude. Amanda looked into it and the number was corrected. Amanda walked out to meet me as I pulled into the lot the morning I arrived. My appointment was at 9am on a Saturday and the whole deal was done by 10am. Amanda sat with me afterwards to make sure I got Apple CarPlay set up. She was totally focused on me and making sure I was satisfied that morning. That's a rarity these days. Overall, my experience purchasing from Zanesville Toyota was a dream. While I was able to get the bike started, I wanted to replace the battery as there were other indicators that the battery might be going. I called Treadway, which was the closest Honda Dealer, to see if they had one in stock and if so, if they would be able to replace it while I waited. When I called, it was a Friday evening about 10 minuted before they closed. I was told that they had it in stock and would be able to get it into service first thing Saturday morning. When we arrived, just after they opened, the battery was waiting on the counter. The bike was promptly brought back into service, the battery changed, the corrosion cleaned off the positive terminal (which may have ultimately been the cause) and some batter terminal grease applied. This was all done at a fair and reasonable price. Treadway turned what could have impacted our trip home into just a minor inconvenience.

I carelessly forgot my crossbody bag in the restroom and did not realize that until it was three hours away in the PA turnpike. My cell phone and wallet with driver's license are in the bag. I called the shop with very little hope that my bag is still there. Fortunately, Alison found the bag and since my driver's license is in the bag, she confirmed it by asking my name. Alicia who is one of the store managers informed me that she will keep it at a safe place for me. On Monday, I called the store again talking to the store general manager Rachel to see if there is a good way to send the bag to me. Since FedEx and UPS are not accessible at the location, Rachel went to the local post office mailed the bag to me during her lunch break. She even sends me the tracking so I can view the update. I want to thank Rachel and others for their kindness, and I may go to say thank you in person when I stop by next time.

I called to schedule a free oil change. Free because they weren't open at the time I scheduled my…read morelast oil change and I had to wait an hour before someone finally showed up. This appointment was for an oil change tire rotation a couple recalls and for them to figure out why the 2nd row passenger seat belt/seat sensor wasn't working properly. When the service was done there was mud tracked all down my driver side door seal, the tires had not been rotated at all because the drivers side ties had mud on them from my driveway and they were still in the same spot, what they don't know is I marked the tires to see if they would actually rotate them and they did not. Makes me wonder if they even changed the oil. I mentioned this to the service rep and he said oh yeah we did it we just moved them front to back, that is not how you rotate tires first off. As far as the mud I said is someone going to wipe that off, he goes and gets a wet paper towel and does one swipe. As far as the seatbelt buckle or seat sensor issue, I'm not sure what the problem is because he told me they couldn't replicate the problem I told them about which was the seat belt buckle or seat when someone is sitting in it and it's buckled doesn't register right and dings the entire time like the seatbelt isn't buckled when it is. I said well can you ride with me and sit in that seat so I can show you. The service rep rode with me and the seatbelt buckle/seat started acting up. It was then that he said oh ok now I see what it's doing. I had to do their job for them. I was told that there was a short in the buckle by a service writer not a tech. He claims that he ordered the buckle and I would receive a call when it comes in. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The only reason I'll be going back is to get my seatbelt buckle fixed. If they ever call. This is twice now that I have had a horrible experience. Get new management or new employees. You're making Honda look bad.

You don't really expect a truck stop in the middle of nowhere out here on the highway, I-77 that is, south of 70, and I guess most don't, as very few people use it for this reason. So this particular truck stop is usually pretty quiet and it's definitely more geared towards truckers than travelers, because that's who uses this road. I'm glad it's here and it helps, even though it's a chain truck stop. So all in all, this is a good truck stop in the middle of nowhere where you wouldn't really expect a truck stop.
