This Pilot is being remolded and it definitely looks way better than when I came here the first time. It's a small parking space so park early if possible. The shower was so clean and smelled nice. I paid for reserved parking which was $19.35 not a bad price at all. When I requested my shower it was ready immediately and the cashier was super friendly. The shelves were well stocked if you need something to snack on. The service I requested was a shower and they delivered with a clean remolded shower. Walmart is right behind it so you can get groceries for your truck. I will definitely be back! read more

This particular Pilot is located just off of Interstate 10. I have to say that gas prices off of this particular exit are better than other exits. I do not know if it is two competing travel plazas competing with each other or what, but the gas at this particular exit is way better priced than other exits right by it. There is an Arby's attached to the business and a Waffle House next door if you want to tie in a meal with your gas stop. The inside also has the usual convenience store items. Good gas station and cleaner gas station compare to the travel center next to same highway exit. The gas is the cheapest along I-10 in Florida. They are usually 20 cents cheaper that most city around or 3 cents cheaper than the one they close to. They have clean restroom. It also has the truck stop area for gas. They also has shower area for truckers. The only complaint is they only has 8 gas pumps for regular car. Which is too less and often congested. read more

Such a wonderful, friendly staff I wish I could only review the staff or the building that would be easily a five star review, but Man how things change a few weeks ago back in 2015 I would of said a gallon of gas priced at $1.839 a gallon was ridiculously cheap, but with gas prices steadily dropping some are foolish enough to think it could bottom out close to 17 cents a gallon the same as it was 100 years ago, that would be awesome and I am sure Marathon Petroleum Company the owner of Pilot Travel Centers and Speedways are hoping the prices just keep falling as well. Others tend to think they have a contingency plan along with relationships, offshore investments other than drilling platforms so its hard to leap with joy over a few months or even a year of cheap fuel after we've been gouged for decades. THE FACTS - The average tax per gallon of gas is $0.4868 per gallon most which is state tax, of this the federal gas tax is $0.184 per gallon and has remained unchanged since 1993. THE SEEMINGLY GOOD -This Pilot Station was $1.839 per gallon the last week of 2015 THE REASON - The world's oil market glut, the cheaper the price per barrel the more the oil rich countries have to sell to make the same money. THE "OPEC" - Most of the participating countries aren't on good terms so it's everyone for themselves so no more production limits pump it and dump it sounds like a stock market scheme. THE LATEST - A country we all know in the past few days will be allowed to get paid for the oil they produce with the lifting of the sanctions they will start exporting an additional 500,000 barrels a day to make up for lost time and profits and further flood the market but sadly their people won't realize any benefits from this. THE STRATEGY- Keep the price of oil as low as possible until the companies with the most modern and effective alternative oil drilling and transport methods (Fracking, oil sand extraction, new high capacity pipelines, new exploration etc.) in the U.S. go bankrupt and close up shop to increase our dependence on imported oil. THE OPPORTUNITY - The Federal and State government can quietly raise the taxes on gas because a gallon of gas will be so cheap after years of inflated prices the American people won't notice, this will make up for the revenue lost due to increased gas mileage in vehicles, limited driving practices when the price per gallon approach $4.00 per gallon which meant less gallons sold (Remember the taxes that were already in place hasn't changed only the price we pay per gallon and the profits the oil companies make per gallon but who made billions in profits for years) The Coup de grâce - The oil rich countries shutdown oil production to reduce the supply and increase the demand so the price of oil jumps back to $100 a barrel and beyond. THE PENDING RESULTS -The Government gets it tax hike on gas which will never decrease like it hasn't since its inception in 1932 increasing their revenue no matter the price per gallon. -The Oil Rich Countries gets their 480 billion dollars per year revenue stream back in place. -The Oil Companies return to their multi-billion dollar quarterly profits -Oh we might be on the bottom side but get stuff too we get to see the cost to fill the tank steadily increase surpassing anything we've ever seen and the deflated dollars in our wallets steadily decrease as do our retirement funds and investments on Wall Street and the cycle of life continues.... read more

Much better Pilot than some of the others we encountered on our road trip. Bathrooms and the gas station itself was very clean. They only thing that threw me off were the customers sitting on the floor by the showers. I'm sure it was because they were waiting, but it was little odd. Decent pull off, except no employee was wearing a mask. One employee walked around bouncing one of the toys throughout the place. I get it's night time and maybe you get barely to none customers. But would it hurt this place enough to at least fake to be happy? I didn't buy anything except gas, not only for the fact someone was walking around and touching everything, and I mean everything. From five bags to touching all counters to finally touching all soda options for the cold drinks. By this time I was done, yeah nope. Stopped in early in the mornings for gas and coffee. Friendly staff. Our check out person was great. Chatting it up with all the customers but kept the line moving. I haven't frequented truck stops very often, however on a recent long trip I discovered that most Pilot locations have the most competitive gas prices, immaculate bathrooms, along with helpful and friendly employees. Most (all?) include an Arby's which for on the road fast food is a pleasant change. Also discovered that the Pilot locations that prepare hot food make the BEST corn dog I've ever had. Haven't eaten that many in my life but now realize what I may have been missing. Thanks Pilot for a nice break in a very long trip! read more

Except for how busy & congested the fuel and parking areas are, this Pilot fit the bill for our RV stop. Just needed diesel fuel additive but also made use of restrooms, and then decided to try Arby's for quick lunch. Nice, friendly lady at register very helpful. Sugar maple bacon sandwich was loaded with very yummy bacon, just as she'd advised. The Rueben was packed with corned beef, could have used more sour kraut (love it!) and a tad less sauce, but the marbled rye was soft & fresh - very tasty! read more

This place sucks. People leave their cars parked after they pump gas to go inside and buy Kettle Cooked potato chips and a diet DrPepper. No one pulls up to park in the conveniently placed parking lot 20 feet ahead. And the store does nothing about it. Cars are lined up everywhere waiting for people to come back. You can't get to another gas pump after Mr. Snack Break leaves his car for fifteen minutes because there's five other cars waiting to get line. This happens literally every time we try to get gas here at almost every gas pump. The store could at least put up signs or something. I'd just save time and irritation and go somewhere else. read more

Went there on a sunday morning and for the life of me I don't have a clue how you can screw up breakfast so terribly. The service was dismal at best. The food was uneatable. I had bisquits and gravy, the bisquits seemed to be no better than the pop open can type and the supposed sausage gravy was just some watered down mix that I doubt my dog would have eaten.
